Readers of these Commentaries will remember well the case of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in St. Louis, Missouri. It was once a traditional Catholic church that served primarily Polish immigrants. It had been given a perpetual charter in 1891 by the first Archbishop of St. Louis to operate independently of the archdiocese. It kept up its end of the covenant. It took not one red cent from the archdiocese, even during the Great Depressions of the late 19th century and the 1930s.
That was St. Stanislaus' problem: it was too successful. So well did the church manage its affairs that over its century of stewardship, its value appreciated to over 11,000,000 U.S. dollars. When the Newarchdiocese was forced by the courts to pay damages to the children who had been raped by its presbyters, the Newchurch archbishop decided to steal its money. This Newarchbishop was the infamous Raymond Burke, who, when Newbishop of La Crosse, Wisconsin, consecrated as a Newchurch "nun" a surgically-altered male. Moreover, he ran one of the country's most successful cover-ups of child rapes by Newchurch clergy.
When Burke in 2004 attempted to steal St. Stanislaus and pillage it for its money, an unexpected thing happened: the church said a resounding "No!" to Burke. It said that its property was independent of his predations because of the perpetual charter that it had from the first Archbishop of St. Louis. Burke, who was desperate to get the money to pay for his sex crimes, huffed and puffed and eventually Novus Ordo "excommunicated" the church's board and courageous pastor. It was of no avail. They said that they were independent of Burke's Novus Ordo and went about their business. Their attendance tripled.
Burke's failure to intimidate the church resounded so badly in Newrome that Benedict-Ratzinger fired him as archbishop and moved him to Newrome where he could be carefully watched. He was also given a sinecure as chief justice of Newvatican's supreme court, the Apostolic Signatura, which rubber-stamps Benedict-Ratzinger's decisions, as it did recently in upholding the unjust closings of several Boston, Massachusetts, churches that were financially solvent.
St. Stanislaus remains an embarrassment to the Newchurch archdiocese, so the new Newchurch archbishop, Robert Carlson, is trying to effect one of those infamous Novus Ordo "compromises," which lures its victims into giving away their rights by offering them crumbs for recognition by the Newchurch of the New Order. On July 25, 2010, the St. Stanislaus congregation heard the terms of a possible "settlement" with the archdiocese. To gain Novus Ordo recognition, it would have to turn its property and assets over to a "parish corporation," organized and staffed by the Newarchdiocese, and Carlson would pick the pastor and approve the board of directors. In other words, St. Stanislaus was being presented with a sellout.
Most of the congregation has stood firm against the Newchurch predations. They suspect that the "deal" is simply a ploy for Carlson to get control of the church -- and close it. Certainly he would get rid of its courageous pastor, Marek Bozek, considered a hero by most of the congregation, under whose pastorate the church's attendance has tripled. Said one lifelong congregant: "We were disowned by the Catholic Church, how long ago? And we're doing fine. We don't need them." Their trust of the Newarchdiocese has been broken. Good Catholics, whatever their religious persuasions are now after having been disowned by the Novus Ordo "authorities," the pastor and congregation of St. Stanislaus Kosta, stood firm for their rights. If Catholics around the United States and the world had done the same in the 1960s, before the Novus Ordo apparatus took control, Catholic churches today would be traditional instead of sellouts to the Novus Ordo.
In the case of Benedict-Ratzinger's involvement in sex crimes against children, the New York Times has done a meticulous job of research and analysis. In three major articles, it has documented the personal involvement of the "Unholy Father" and his Newvatican machine in aiding and abetting, under his own signature, the sexual assault, rape, and even murder of child victims.
The evidence is so scandalous that Benedict-Ratzinger's appointed minions have to try to deny the obvious. Thus, Timothy Dolan, the new Newarchbishop of New York personally appointed by Benedict-Ratzinger, has published on July 21, 2010, a sorry attempt, entitled "To Whom Shall We Go?," to deny reality by the now well-known political tactic of denying outright proven facts. He calls documents with Benedict-Ratzinger's personal signature "inaccuracies." Dolan veils his lies under the rubric "corrections." In other words, he has no problem with "spinning" the truth, just so long as it is spun the corrupt Newchurch's way!
Dolan attempts to assert the now-disproven notion that Benedict-Ratzinger "is committed to doing everything it can to ensure that justice is served and that such abuse never happens again." Why, they can't even call the crimes what most of them are: rape and sodomy! Even to this day, sexual assaults against children go on in Newchurch, and Benedict-Ratzinger continues to protect his criminal bishops who aid and abet them. To this day, Benedict-Ratzinger has fired not a single bishop involved in the rapes and their cover-ups.
Obviously, the criticism is getting to Dolan and Benedict-Ratzinger. Dolan even admits that critics adduce the obvious fact that Newpope "doesn't get it." That is the truth, and Dolan's deceitful words don't change that truth. The answer to Dolan's question "to whom shall we turn?" is: To your nearest fully-traditional Catholic site. Get out of the Novus Ordo and all of its associated deceits, such as the Half Novus Ordo "Motu" Mess of 1962-2009+.
Good Catholics, if documents with Benedict-Ratzinger's personal signature on them freeing a presbyter rapist of 200 deaf children in a Newchurch institution isn't evidence enough, nothing will satisfy Novus Ordo crackpots like Timothy Dolan. They have turned their minds off to reality. And there is nothing Roman about that!
"And he commanded them that they should take nothing for the way, but a staff only: no scrip, no bread, nor money in their purse" (Mark 6:8/DRV). So Our Lord commanded His Apostles, the first bishops of the Church. But Newchurch bishops reject Christ's commandment. As they close churches and schools right and left from their members, they spend exorbitant sums of money on themselves.
A case in point. The Newchurch diocese of Joliet, Illinois, is buying for its new auxiliary bishop, Joseph Siegel, a mansion costing 300,000 U.S. dollars in the exclusive Timberline neighborhood. In 2010 the Newdiocese has already closed St. Joseph School and others, because of "financial issues." But the Newdiocese has no "financial issue" with spending more than a quarter of a million dollars on yet another bishop's mansion. Dear Fathers:
I attend both Society of St. Pius X and Society of St. Pius V chapels. Someone recently told me that all traditional Catholic organizations are outside the Catholic Church. Please explain whether I am in mortal sin by attending either one of these two chapels.

That information is exactly backwards! It obviously came from someone in the New Order (Novus Ordo) sect. It would be more accurate to say that the Novus Ordo sect is outside the Catholic Church. The parishes in the Novus Ordo sect celebrate an invalid, vernacularized, Protestantized liturgy, hold some doctrines different from what Catholicism teaches, and hold in practice to an unCatholic morality, which has involved their clergy, from the pope on down, in the most filthy moral depravity, accepting, in practice, homosexuality and paedophilia.
All traditional Catholic organizations are just that: Catholic. Of course, they are outside of the Newchurch of the New Order (the Novus Ordo sect) because that sect, widespread as it may be since the 1960s, is not Catholic although it tries to deceive by using the word Catholic on its doors. Don't worry about the words used. Judge whether a site is Catholic by how it prays (the fully Traditional Latin Mass), what it believes (Catholic doctrine as traditionally taught by the Church, not some "modernized/Protestantized" version of it), and the morality it practices (is its clergy raping children, and its bishops and the pope letting them get away with it?).
Most certainly, you are not committing a mortal sin by attending a fully traditional Catholic site. Quite the contrary: you are to be commended for your discernment in staying away from the heretical Novus Ordo entirely. That is what Catholic Saints did in similar situations in the Church Of the two organizations that you mentioned, the SSPV is fully traditional Catholic. The SSPX is borderline; it is now halfway toward the Novus Ordo.
Just when you thought that the Newchurch of the New Order couldn't sink further into depravity, a new sex scandal has shocked Rome and all of Christendom, as it places the worst sins of depravity right in Benedict-Ratzinger's own household.
The Italian weekly, Panorama, in its July 23, 2010, edition, has exposed a sodomy ring operating among Roman presbyters, some of them members of Benedict-Ratzinger's own household. Using hidden cameras, a journalist from the magazine videotaped three presbyters as they attended "gay" nightspots and committed numerous acts of sodomy there. One taping showed a presbyter wearing a dog collar and engaging in sado-masochistic sodomy. Another presbyter was videotaped committing sodomy in a cassock. A third presbyter sodomized two male prostitutes while the hidden camera rolled.
The tapes are so scandalous that neither the Italian Bishops Conference or Benedict-Ratzinger had any immediate reaction. Panorama stated that it had carried out thorough checks and established that all sodomite presbyters involved were "in good standing" with Benedict-Ratzinger and his Newchurch. A member of the Novus Ordo clergy quoted by the magazine put the proportion of "gay" presbyters in Rome at "98 per cent."The Panorama videotapes confirm a fact that was already known, but little publicized outside Rome. In March 2010 Roman court documents revealed that a member of Benedict-Ratzinger's own household had procured male prostitutes for a papal gentleman-in-waiting.
The homosexualization of Newchurch appears to be a direct result of Benedict-Ratzinger's gay-friendly policies. In his Instruction concerning the Criteria for the Discernment of Vocations with regard to Persons with Homosexual Tendencies in View of their Admission to the Seminary and to Holy Orders, dated November 4, 2005, and reissued on July 28, 2008, Benedict-Ratziger described sodomy not as Sacred Scripture and therefore Catholic moral doctrine traditional defines it, as One of the Four Sins that Cry out to God for Vengeance, but merely as an "orientation." In those documents Benedict-Ratzinger allowed for the admission of homosexuals to his Novus Ordo seminaries, and many Novus Ordo seminaries actively recruit homosexuals to become presbyters for the New Order.

I am a Catholic going to a 1962 ["Motu"] Mass at a local diocesan parish. I am to be married to an Englishman in an Anglican church. I have met the minister who will marry us. He is a very sweet gentleman; however, my fiancé is not a churchgoer, and I know nothing about the Anglican church wedding ceremony. I was told that the ceremony will begin with a reading from the Bible and be followed by the marriage vows and a few prayers. Then I have requested holy communion. My traditional Catholic family would like me to be married in the Roman Catholic Church with a traditional High Mass, so I would like to incorporate something Catholic in the ceremony. Can you suggest something?

We are absolutely astonished at your ignorance of the Catholic Faith and what the Sacrament of Matrimony is. But why should we be astonished, because the Half Novus Ordo "Motu" Mess of 1962-2009+ is a Protestantized version of the Traditional Latin Mass and is closely associated with the invalid Novus Ordo Protestant-Masonic-Pagan service. The Motarians, who have blinded themselves to this obvious fact, can see by this inquiry what kind of an unCatholic and even heretical odor they are exuding.
First of all, no Catholic can be married to an Anglican heretic before an Anglican minister. To do so automatically excommunicates you from the Catholic Church, as you will have publicly denied the Catholic Faith. To receive the invalid Anglican "communion" is also an act of sacrilege. You say that you are a Catholic, but obviously you have given up any adherence to the Catholic Faith. You are "marrying" in an heretical sect and taking its "communion." Essentially, you are proclaiming yourself an Anglican heretic. The notion that you can sprinkle some Catholic "sugar" on the rotten wedding cake is absurd. You need to slow down and consider what you are doing. Get some counsel on this matter from a traditional Catholic priest before you make a very serious mistake that could affect your temporal and eternal life.
Prof. Thomas Molnar (1921-2010) passed to eternity on July 22, 2010. He was one of the intellectual pioneers of traditional Catholicism. In the early 1960s he was ranked as one of the three or four key traditional Catholic thinkers in the United States. He contributed the early traditional Catholic magazine Triumph. Although he lived most of his life in the United States, he was highly regarded in France for his traditional intellectual discourse and organized resistance to the authorities of Novus Ordo Modernism.
Prof. Molnar was a preeminent chronicler and analyst of the ideological trends and deceptions of the post Vatican II period, using primarily the approved Catholic philosophy Thomism. In his 1968 Ecumenism or New Reformation?, Molnar still recommended rallying to the papacy as the cure for the disorders in the Church. But 1969 was the year of the institution of the Novus Ordo, which cased Molnar to do a complete volte-face. In his Counter-Revolution of that year he harshly criticized the Modernist Vatican II and papacy of Paul VI.
Prof. Molar also perceptively prophesied the dangers of the Neuhaus/Novak/First Things ideology 25 years before the bankruptcy of the "Neocon" movement's political, economic, and ecclesiastical policies. These included JPII's false Indultarianism of 1988 and Benedict-Ratzinger's Motarianism of 2007, which were simply the Novus Ordo in disguise. Molnar foresaw the ignominious end of the pseudo-traditionalists, who have been coopted into the Modernist Novus Ordo sect that they had once opposed.
Prof. Molnar proved in his academic works that the Second Vatican Council had disastrously failed; that the policies of JPII were no answer to the crisis; and that no personality or movement offering a real solution was on the horizon, including Card. Ratzinger, whom he knew personally. Molnar bitterly criticized the post Vatican II Church that had turned its back on its cultural legacy and had become the obsequious courtier of the Modernist Novus Ordo sect. The destruction of the traditional, Catholic society of Spain that Molnar experienced firsthand over the years -- and in which Newchurch collaborated -- undoubtedly added to these conclusions.
Traditional Catholics would be edified to seek out and read the works of Molnar. They will find in them a precious legacy of European Catholicism that help them to understand the current nadir of the Newchurch of the New Order.
In a bizarre turn of events, Newchurch bishop James Wingle, of St. Catherine's, Ontario, has vanished, and even Benedict-Ratzinger doesn't seem to know where he is. One of Wingle's presbyters had pled guilty to sexually assaulting three children, one of them only twelve years of age. Wingle was personally informed by one of the victims of the rape and did nothing. Canadian authorities are investigating Wingle for the crimes of child endangerment and failing to report the presbyter to the police.
After his sudden resignation in April 2010, Wingle disappeared for a time. There were reports in May that he was hiding out in a monastery in Jerusalem. But now he has vanished completely, and Newchurch officials don't know where he is.

With the Christian Church getting farther and farther away from Christ, it is no surprise any longer when the most sacrilegious acts go on in the Church itself. The falsely-termed "animal rights" got out of control in Ottawa, Canada, when an Anglican priest handed out (pawed out?) "communion" to a dog. Before you say, "That was the Anglican Church," remember that the Novus Ordo sect has followed step by step what the Anglicans have done. In fact, the invalid Novus Ordo service of 1969, called by Benedict-Ratzinger in 2007 the "Ordinary Rite" of Newchurch, was fabricated by the Freemason presbyter Hannibal Bugnini in large part from the Anglican service.
The dog Trapper received the communion "cookie" at St. Peter's Anglican Church in downtown Toronto on June 27, 2010. The dog's owner also received a cookie, as well as the Kool-Aid. The dog, however, did not get to slurp the Kool-Aid.
A parishioner of St. Peter's has quit church and has also filed a complaint with bishop Yu, of the Anglican Diocese of Toronto, saying the sacred ritual had been desecrated. At least this Anglican parishioner had some sense of the sacred. Bishop Yu agreed and did more than a Novus Ordo bishop would probably do, when he wrote to the parishioner: "It is not the policy of the Anglican Church to give Communion to animals. I can see why people would be offended. It is a strange and shocking thing, and I have never heard of it happening before." But, also like a Novus Ordo bishop, Yu took no action against the sacrilegious priest. He said: "We are after all, in the forgiveness and repair business." In other words, you can get away with anything in the Anglican or Novus Ordo sect under the rubric of false forgiveness. The same forgiveness extends to unrepentant child rapists in Benedict-Ratzinger's Novus Ordo sect.

What can a layperson do in this crisis of the Church? It seems that this isn't written about.

The first thing to do is, as St. Paul says, "stand fast: and hold the traditions that you have been taught" (2 Thessalonians 2:14/DRV). That means finding the true Traditional Latin Mass (not a Novus Ordo-associated "Motu" knockoff), staying close to the Sacraments and teachings of the true Faith, and living the Christian life. Once you have found such traditional site, you need to support it actively, not only with material funds (most of your charitable donations should go to it, as it is providing you with the most important thing, the true Sacraments) but also with your time and attention. Ask the priest what he needs help with. Sing in the schola or choir. Offer to wash the sacred linens. Offer to help in the maintenance of the site.
Be sure to assist at all the services offered; they are priceless. It is remarkable how so many supposedly-traditional Catholics arrive late to Holy Mass and never attend any other services offered, such as the Divine Office, the Angelus, or other devotions. They moan about why God doesn't help them, and yet they are careless about their devotion to Him. In many ways, traditional Catholics in the post-Modern Church are getting just what they deserve.
Finally, you must fight for the true Faith. That means that you must be informed about the Faith. Read the best traditional books. Be prepared to answer vigorously for the traditional Faith when you are confronted. You don't have to assail people, but when the opportunity arises, your reasoned fire for the true Faith against the Novus Ordo sect and other non-Catholic sects should be evident. Can a pope declare a Church council, such as Vatican II, null and void?

Indeed yes. Several Church councils in the past have been declared null and void by popes, among them:
Thus, several Church councils in the past have been nullified by popes, so it is not a problem to include in that number Vatican II, which was called and promulgated not even as a dogmatic council, but as a merely pastoral council. In the past, it has usually taken about a century for these troubled periods in the Church to be resolved, and we are only forty years into the post Vatican II period. But the resolution of troubled periods in the Church involved far more than just a pope.
There is so much confusion now that we cannot look for a resolution soon. That is why we must in the interim follow St. Paul's dictum: "State et tenete traditiones, quas didicistis sive per sermonem sive per epistulam nostram" [Therefore, brethren, stand fast: and hold the traditions that you have learned, whether by word or by our epistle]. The example of the Church in troubled times in the past teaches that we must find the true Catholic Faith where it now exists, outside the Novus Ordo sect, even outside of the Counciliar-Bugnini-Ratzinger "Motu" Mess of 1962-2009+.

A second lawsuit has been brought against presbyter George St. Jean in the Manchester, New Hampshire, Superior Court. In May 2010 the presbyter, with the complicity of the Newchurch diocese of Manchester and the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, had already been charged with sexually assaulting a child of 11 over one hundred times. The sexual assaults began a few years after the Vatican II Council (1962-1965) destroyed discipline in the Novus Ordo Church. What is unusual about this case is that the many of the assaults took place while the presbyter and the child sat in the back set of the family car while the child's father cluelessly shuttled the presbyter to phony Novus Ordo services!
The new lawsuit against the presbyter, the Newdiocese, and the religious order"involves allegations of horrific child sexual abuse." The rapes of the newly-identified victim took place at the Shrine of Our Lady of Grace. [Some information for this Commentary was contributed by the Union Leader.]
The cause of Holy Cross Fr. Patrick Peyton, known before Vatican II as the "Rosary priest" for his numerous Rosary Crusades around the world, on July 20, 2010, cleared the Newchurch diocese stage of examination for Novus Ordo canonization, and the a 16,000-page relatio was sent to Newrome. Fr. Peyton's Family Theater Productions was second only to Bishop Fulton Sheen's Life Is Worth Living in television popularity. On radio and television he promoted family prayer under the famous motto: "The family that prays together stays together."
Fr. Peyton was probably was one of the first to see the role that the electronic media could play in evangelizing. Fr. Peyton was associated with several Hollywood personalities, among them comedian Bob Hope and actor Joseph Campanella. Fr. Peyton founded Family Theater Productions in Hollywood in 1947. That ministry produced more than 600 radio and television programs and 10,000 broadcasts. He also conducted Rosary Crusades for millions of people in dozens of countries.
Fr. Peyton died in 1994. He had had serious health problems throughout his life, and retired from the active priesthood in 1964 at age 65. He therefore had no active involvement with the Novus Ordo that took over the Church in the mid 1960s.
The "Cross Crook" was charged with felony burglary on July 20, 2010, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This crook used an altar crucifix as a pry bar to break into a donation box for a stand of devotional candles and into two poor boxes. The crook was caught on videotape with the stolen crucifix in his hand. He left a lot of blood at the scene, probably from breaking into a window, and left his incriminating DNA. This cross crook was not the thief of Holy Cross Cathedral's relic of the true Cross in Boston, Massachusetts, previously reported on in these Commentaries. That cross crook is still at large.
In addition to the moral virtues of prudence, fortitude, and temperance, Benedict-Ratzinger signally lacks the moral virtue of justice. To pass over the gross injustice that he has perpetrated by his personal signature upon the petitions of hundreds of thousands of raped, assaulted, and even murdered children, now he has sided with his corrupt bishops, who close (mostly) traditional churches, even fully healthy ones. His supreme court has ruled that a Newchurch diocese can close a church, regardless of that church’s health, "if it decides the good of the Church’s religious mission is at stake" -- whatever that means.
The Boston, Massachusetts, Newarchdiocese, which was incompetent to read the Latin ruling, remarkably admitted its incompetence, stating "we look forward to a formal review of the translated text." Any "translated" text, of course, has no legal authority!
It is noteworthy that the chief justice of Benedict-Ratzinger's supreme court is Newarchbishop Raymond Burke, who consecrated a surgically-altered man as a Novus Ordo nun, then proceeded to try to steal a church that had an independent charter. The congregation of that courageous church, St. Stanislaus Kosta, fought Burke and won. The whole matter gave Newchurch such a black eye, that Benedict-Ratzinger fired Burke as Newarchbishop and brought him to Newrome, where he could be watched in a semi-sinecure.
Ten Boston churches that had appealed their closings were told to go pound sand in the final decision, released July 17, 2010. The ruling was reminiscent of the decisions personally signed by Card. Ratzinger telling the child victims, many handicapped, of his Newchurch bishops and presbyters to go pound sand. They would get no justice from his corrupt Newchurch of the Great Cover-up.
Benedict-Ratzinger was personally behind this recent decision to close healthy churches against the will of his pew Newchurchers and sided with his corrupt Newbishops, such as Sean O'Malley, of Boston. The ruling specifically cited Benedict-Ratzinger's directive that " keeping the Catholic [sic] Church healthy for its evangelical mission for the 'salvation of souls' was a key consideration when leaders weigh church closings." Council of Parishes leader Peter Borre criticized the abominable ruling, as it gives dioceses, he said:
broad justification for shutting down churches, no matter how robust their finances or attendance, if diocesan leaders feel their evangelical mission is threatened -- perhaps by poor financial health. Bankrupt dioceses cannot do much evangelizing. And if to avoid acute financial pressure or bankruptcy, a diocese finds it necessary to liquidate strong parishes that have assets and market value, then, by these decisions, that becomes legitimate. I did not think they would open the loophole that wide.
The Newarchdiocese of Boston announced it was closing dozens of churches in 2004, a year after it settled 500 sex-crime cases by its presbyters for 85,000,000 U.S. dollars. In addition to having to pay these damages for its crimes, the Newarchdiocese cited falling attendance, a shortage of Novus Ordo presbyters, and financial problems. At five of the Boston churches, the congregations have shouted a resounding Latin Nequaquam! to Benedict-Ratzinger and to O'Malley, and have occupied the churches around the clock since 2004. Newchurchers in the United States have experienced the greatest percentage loss of members of any major faith or denomination, according to a 2008 study by the respected Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life. One out of ten Americans say the they are ex-Newchurch. About 32% of people raised as Newchurchers leave the sect. According to the Pew survey, more than 31% of Americans said they were raised Catholic, but just under 24% said they are now Catholic, a 7.5 percentage point drop that is the highest among all religions and denominations.
Part of the reason for the decline, according to the Pew Study, is that the the Novus Ordo has been sold as a service to be entertained at, but Newchurchers are not entertained. More Newchuchers, nearly one-third, leave the Novus Ordo, the lowest retention rate, behind Hindus, Protestants, Jews, Eastern Orthodox, and Mormons. In just one year (2008), 7.5 per cent of Newchurchers left, followed by Baptists, Methodists, Lutherans, and Anglican/Episocopalians. The largest increase in new members is among atheists/agnostics, followed by Non-denominational Christians, Pentecostalists, and Buddhists.
Sometimes one has to fall into the pit of sin to find repentence and resurrection. Mel Gibson, producer/director of the 2004 traditional Catholic epic, The Passion of the Christ, has certainly fallen to a nadir like that of David, the King of Israel, who committed adultery with Bersabee and arranged to have her husband killed in battle. Some recent reports indicate that a turnaround may now be in the offing.
The divorce filing that Robyn Gibson made on Easter Monday 2009 has not been finalized by the parties. Gibson fell off the wagon in more ways than one, not only taking an adulteress, but publicizing his adultery while praising publicly on television his mistress, who was little more than a loose woman, having already racked up two "husbands" while taking a third.
Recently there has been the spectacle of a disputed audiotape that his mistress made, purportedly showing Gibson threatening and even striking her. On the other side, the mistress's dentist said that there is no evidence of her allegations, and the tape may be trumped up in a scheme of the mistress to extort 10,000,000 U.S. dollars from the megastar. Mel seems to be relearning the moral of this story: sticking with the traditional Catholic principles that he espouses when has not yielded to his manic-depression and binge drinking.
The "saint," if you will, in this story, is Mel's devoted wife of 30 years. Mel always said that she was his best friend and would chastise him when he fell off the wagon. This woman, whom our sources at the traditional Catholic church that Mel built in Agoura Hills, California, describe as a classy lady, has now come out to support her husband in a sworn declaration to a California court that he never hit her or the children during their marriage. It seems to have been Robyn's declaration that swayed the court in a July 15, 2010, decree to confirm Mel's right to visitation and time with his illegitimate daughter by the mistress.
Now there may be a reconciliation in the offing; one can only hope. Robyn has stepped forth again as Mel's best friend, to persuade him that he needs to get away from Hollywood and find peace on his Australian ranch, and she will go with him along with some of the children. Mel has told friends that he will move back with Robyn to Australia, where he lived most of his life, and live out his life there out of the spotlight. The degree to which the pseudo-traditionalists try to make out Benedict-Ratzinger as having traditionalist sympathies truly boggles the mind. Even Bernie Fellay, the Superior General of the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) was caught recently in an outright lie on this point. "The Holy [sic] Father celebrates the old Mass privately," said Fellay during a speech in Bahia, Brazil, on July 8, 2010.
It is difficult to believe that Fellay was ignorant of the fact that when that disinformation first appeared, ten days after Benedict-Ratzinger released his "Motu" Proprior of July 7, 2007, which allowed his Novus Ordo Church, to a very limited degree, to use the Conciliar Bugnini Mess of 1962-2009+, it drew a strong denial from the Papal Press Secretary, Federico Lombardi, who stated categorically that reports Benedict-Ratzinger performs the "Motu" Mess of 1962-2009+ in his private chapel are false.
Countering news reports that Benedict-Ratzinger celebrated the "Motu" Mess privately, the Papal Press Secretary confirmed that Benedict-Ratzinger performs a morning Novus Ordo Mess, using the Novus Ordo's Third Edition of 2002. He specifically denied that Newpope used the "Motu" Mess. Lomardi explained: "The confusion probably was caused by our footage of the pope celebrating facing the altar, which is due to the fact that the altar is against the wall" in the private chapel of the Apostolic Palace. Moreover, Lombardi confirmed just how completely Novus Ordo Benedict-Ratzinger is at his private Mess. He confirmed that two private secretaries concelebrate the papal Mess each morning. Lombardi explained that this fact "obviously means he is using the new Missal," since traditionally concelebration is prohibited, except for the traditional Mass of sacerdotal ordination and episcopal consecration.
Fellay's lie is apparently all part of his Hindenburg Plan to soften up SSPXers to sell out to the New Order by coating the sellout with a little Latin. Surely under Bernie Fellay the honesty, reputation, and traditional principles of the SSPX have fallen precipitously since the demise of its founder, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre. Are the Novus Ordo rites of ordination of priests and consecration of bishops valid? I've recently heard that "Motu" priests are consecrated by bishops who were consecrated in the Novus Ordo rite. If the Novus Ordo episcopal consecration of bishops is invalid, then that means all the "Motu" priests are not really priests.
The Fathers Reply
The Novus Ordo rites are not valid from the traditional Catholic perspective, nor do they pretend to be. The New Ordinal of 1968, as fabricated by the Freemason presbyter Hannibal Bugnini, draws much of its content from Protestant service books. Novus Ordo bishops are in fact no longer consecrated, but merely "ordained," and the new rite is completely different from the traditional one.
In the New Ordinal, presbyters, not priests, are "installed" because they are no longer "ordained" to offer sacrifice. The traditional rites that speak of conferring the power "to offer sacrifice to God and to celebrate Mass, as well for the living as for the dead" and to forgive sins have been eliminated from the Novus Ordo rites.
With the July 2010 publication of Zaldone, a new volume by the late Romano Amerio, the noted author of the celebrated anti-Vatican II tome, Iota Unum: A Study of Changes in the Catholic Church in the Twentieth Century, some Newchurch pseudo-traditionalist hierarchs are pleading with Benedict-Ratzinger to condemn ex cathedra the erroneous teachings of Vatican II. Benedict-Ratzinger, always the Modernist, has flatly turned them down.
Amerio writes that even during the Council itself, Cardinal Heenan, the traditional Primate of England, complained that the bishops had ceased exercising the office of the magisterium, but comforted himself with the observation that this office was fully preserved in the Roman pontificate. Amerio maintains that this observation was and is false. Rather, he says:
Today the episcopal magisterium has ceased, and that of the pope as well. Today the magisterium is exercised by theologians who have shaped all of the opinions of the Christian people and have disqualified the dogma of the faith.... Rejection of the magisterium is widespread on other points as well. Hell, the immortality of the soul, the resurrection of the body, the immutability of God, the historicity of Christ, the unlawfulness of sodomy, the sacred and indissoluble nature of matrimony, the Natural Law, the primacy of the Divine are other arguments in which the magisterium of the theologians has eliminated the magisterium of the Church. This arrogance of the theologians is the most visible phenomenon of self-demolition.
By "self-demolition" Amerio is referring to the inspired December 7, 1968, statement of Paul VI, one of the few that pope of the New Order ever had:
The Church finds herself in an hour of anxiety, a disturbed period of self-criticism, or what would even better be called self-demolition. It is an interior upheaval, acute and complicated, which nobody expected after the Council. It is almost as if the Church were attacking itself. We looked forward to a flowering, a serene expansion of conceptions that matured in the great sessions of the Council. But ... one must notice above all the sorrowful aspect. It is as if the Church were destroying herself.
From this strongly critical analysis of Vatican II, Amerio posed the question whether there has been continuity or rupture in the magisterium of the Church before and after Vatican II. He held that the dogma of indefectibility, that the Church would continue to the end of time, applies only to ex cathedra, dogmatic definitions of the magisterium, not to the uncertain, fleeting, debatable "pastoral" teachings of Vatican II and of the following decades. Vatican II is full of vague, equivocal assertions that can be interpreted in different ways, some of them even in definite contrast with the previous magisterium of the Church. Amerio argues that this ambiguous, pastoral language paved the way for a Church that today is "overrun by thousands of doctrines and hundreds of thousands of nefarious customs" in art, music, and liturgy.
As a result, several Newchurch pseudo-traditionalist hierarchs, Msgr. Brunero Gherardini, Newarchbishop Albert Ranjith of Colombo, Ceylon, and Newbishopo Mario Olivieri of Savona, Italy, have issued a "Plea to the Holy [sic] Father" to have the documents of the Council reexamined and to issue a dogmatic proclamation ex cathedra to clarify once and for all "if, in what sense, and to what extent" Vatican II is or is not in continuity with the previous magisterium of the Church.
Benedict-Ratzinger has flatly refused to issue such an infallible clarification. On the contrary, both on the whole and on some controversial points, he has already made it known that he rejects the teachings of the Catholic Church and supports Vatican II's unCatholic, Modernistic teachings. In fact, it was "Fr." Ratzinger himself at Vatican II who engineered and openly supported the three declarations of the Council most tainted with the odor of heresy:
More evidence that Benedict-Ratzinger has lost control of Newchurch is provided by the fact that once-Catholic Argentina on July 15, 2010, became the first country in Latin America to legalize "gay marriage." The Argentinean Congress voted to give "gay couples" the all the legal rights, responsibilities, and protections that real marriage brings. A wave of "gay weddings" is expected in Buenos Aires.
Even though Argentinean Newchurch bishops urged Newchurchers to work against the law, the Newbishops sold out by proposing as a compromise to "gay marriage" a similar arrangement called by a different name, "civil union." Uruguay, as well as some states in Mexico and Brazil, have already legalized these "gay unions." Mexico City went even further, not only legalizing "gay marriage" but launching a tourism campaign to encourage foreigners to come and "wed" -- right under the nose of Benedict-Ratzinger while he was visiting Mexico City in May 2007. True to his Modernistic beliefs, the pusillanimous Newpope refused to excommunicate the "Catholic" politicians who had voted for the measure.

Benedict-Ratzinger has been thoroughly incompetent in stopping "abuses" in the Novus Ordo Mess -- as if that Mess itself weren't the greatest abuse and sacrilege. And Benedict-Ratzinger has declared this sacrilege to be the "Ordinary Rite" of his Newchurch of the New Order.
A case in point. On Sunday, June 11, 2010, in Obdam, The Netherlands, Novus Ordo presbyter-pastor Paul Vlaar simulated the invalid Novus Ordo service in orange vestments and decked out his church out with orange flags. He called his Mess the "Orange" Mess to pray -- not for the child-victims of Newchurch's Great Sex & Embezzlement Holocaust, not for reparation for sin, not for the conversion of heretics, not even for the adoration of Almighty God -- but for the Dutch soccer team, whose color is orange, to defeat the Spanish team! You see what a mockery Benedict-Ratziger and his Novus Ordo Church have made of the Catholic Church.
In Vlaar's church, the candles and the piano were painted orange. During the service the presbyter acted as a goalkeeper behind a net when a parishioner kicked a football down the aisle. Yet it took six weeks for Jozef Punt, Newchurch bishop of Haarlem, to ask the presbyter to take a "time of reflection." And whom did the clueless Newchurch congregation support -- the crazy presbyter! The parish vice chairman said that his congregation was "shocked and disappointed" by the Newbishop's action. Good Catholics, don't you believe that Benedict-Ratzinger is "traditional" or even "conservative"! He is an out-and-out Liberalist/Modernist/Socialist and has been since before Vatican II. This is his Newchurch of the New Order that would hold an "Orange" Mess. It is amazing how deaf, dumb, and blind the Neocon and pseudo-traditionalist Newchurchers are. Benedict-Ratzinger was absolutely right in his assessment of them: given them a few words of Latin, and they'll run off the precipice for you like lemmings!
Godfried Danneels, "Fr." Ratzinger's Modernist co-conspirator at Vatican II, is daily being exposed as aiding and abetting numerous sex crimes against children, and it seems that even Vatican II's "Fr.," now "His Unholiness," can't save him. During his time in office, Newcardinal Dannells gained notoriety by publicly opposing and questioning Catholic teaching on sexual morality, including homosexuality and sodomy. Now his own immorality has come back to bite him.
Belgian police have revealed evidence that Dannells knew of and ignored decades of sex crimes against children by his own presbyters. Police raided the offices of the Newchurch archdiocese of Brussels and Danneels's own home in July 2010. On the basis of victims' reports of sex crimes and their cover-up, police even drilled holes into the tombs of deceased former Newbishops, where Newhurch officials had attempted to hide evidence.
On July 6, 2010, Danneels spent a gruelling ten hours answering questions from Brussels prosecutors about the extent of his knowledge and involvement in the cover-up of sex crimes by his presbyters over the 27 years that he headed the Newarchdiocese as Primate of Belgium. Victims have told police that Danneels had known for years of extensive clerical sex crimes against children by his presbyters. They charge that Danneels, who denied any knowledge of the crimes, committed perjury.
The Brussels public prosecutor said he would not rule out the possibility that Benedict-Ratzinger's associate would ultimately face criminal charges at the end of the investigation. If it is shown that Danneels knew about the crimes against minors while they were still occurring, he could be charged with gross negligence for failing to give "appropriate assistance" to children who were in immediate and imminent danger.
The raids and the questioning of the Danneels have created shock and horror among the Belgians. The Belgian news service Het Laatste Nieuws reported that photographs pertaining to the notorious Dutroux pedophile/murder case were found among the material seized by police from Dannells. On July 7, 2010, the Belgian Bishops Conference confirmed that the documents had been found in the archbishop's house in Mechelen. The chairman of the now-dissolved Belgian Newchurch's commission on sex crimes was questioned on the same day as Danneels and admitted under oath that of the 475 case files the commission received, 50 implicate Newcardinal Danneels in knowledge of sex crimes against children. which he had ignored for years.
On July 9, 2010, the daily Le Soir revealed the story of a child victim, who stated that since his days as an altar boy, he was raped by a presbyter and then "coldly" abandoned by Newhurch. The victim, now a presbyter himself, said that his godmother had written to Newcardinal Danneels about the rapes, but received only a form-letter response from a secretary. Danneels' close friend and associate, Roger Vangheluwe, Newbishop of Bruges, who wrote a Novus Ordo catechism characterized as pornography by Newchurch parents, is also under investigation for prosecution for raping his own nephew for years. It isn't just Fatima that has "secrets." The discredited Medjugorge "apparition" has its "secrets" too. Secrets are, of course, not part of the Catholic Faith. The dogma of the Catholic Faith is that we have everything that we need for salvation in the two fonts of Our Lord Jesus Christ's Public Revelation: Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition. These closed with the death of the last Apostle, St. John, who died just after the year 100. Anyone who denies this dogma is a heretic. Our Lord Himself said: "I have spoken openly to the world: I have always taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither all the Jews resort; and in secret I have spoken nothing. (John 18:20/DRV).
The six discredited Medjugorje "visionaries" will be compelled to testify before a Newvatican commission, most likely in early autumn 2010, and to reveal their "secrets." Even the Novus Ordo Croatian bishops in a 1990 verdict rejected the "apparitions," declaring "non constat supernaturalitate."
The "apparition" hoax was regarded to be the invention of a Novus Ordo Franciscan presbyter, who, with his associates both clerical and lay, such as those on the EWTN Charismatic cable network, have used this hoax to enrich themselves financially by conducting tours to the site, for which they are paid exorbitant fees, and by publishing books and recordings that are bought at high prices by Newchurch Charismatics. The presbyter Tomislav Vlasic, who fabricated the cult of Our Lady of Medjugorje has been defrocked by Newvatican. [Some information for this Commentary was contributed by Catholic World News.]
It's not just Newchurch presbyters that have been raping children. The bishops have been doing it too. Over one in ten Newchurch bishops in the United States have been charged with sex crimes against children.
One of these is Thomas Dupre, Newchurch bishop of Springfield, Massachusetts, who resigned from his position in 2004 in view of his being indicted on charges of raping two children. Now Dupre has been sued for gross malfeasance, in that he knowingly failed to prevent one of his paedophile presybters from raping children. In a recent sworn deposition, Dupre refused to answer questions, but for three hours "took the Fifth," referring to the U.S. Constitution's Fifth Amendment, which refers to the citizen's right not to incriminate himself in a court proceeding.
Attorneys for one of the victims applied to the Superior Court judge on July 14, 2010, to make the videotaped deposition public, stating: "This clergy abuse crisis was founded in a shroud of secrecy.... This is something people want to know. They deserve to see it if they want to see it." The Novus Ordo bishop's attorney is trying to perpetrate a cover-up, arguing that "the spectacle of three-plus hours of the man being deposed and taking the Fifth Amendment ... will only serve to cause him embarrassment, harassment, or perhaps worse. This will be on the Internet by tomorrow night." The victim's attorney succinctly rejoined: "If he's embarrassed for what he did, so be it."
The disgraced Newbishop's attorney advised Dupre "to remain mum about any question with regard to his connection to the Church." In other words, the bishop isn't to admit that he is a bishop. Well, really he isn't. He was never consecrated, but merely installed in 1990 under the Freemason presbyter Hannibal Bugnini's invalid New Ordinal of 1969. A precious relic of the True Cross, in traditional times one of the most treasured possessions of the Newarchdiocese, was stolen from the Novus Ordo Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston, Massachusetts, and Newchurch didn't even report the theft to its own Newchurchers. It was eleven days later, when an outside source finally revealed the theft to the Boston Globe. Presumably, the Newarchdiocese would have let its worshippers come in ignorant that the reliquary was empty. The Newarchdiocese had already relegated the precious relic to a dim chapel that very few came to worship in.
The rector of the cathedral in typical Novus Ordo fashion said that he "prayed for those responsible," but didn't lift a finger to recover the precious relic. As usual in the Novus Ordo, all talk and no action. As St. James put it: "So faith also, if it have not works, is dead in itself. " (James 2:17/DRV). These Novus Ordinarians have neither faith nor works!
The relic arrived in Boston in the late 18th century, a gift to a French missionary priest, Jean-Louis Lefebvre de Cheverus, who later became the first bishop of Boston. The relic was given to Cheverus by Abbe Claude de la Poterie, the first pastor of the cathedral, who was also a French priest, as well as a onetime chaplain in the French Navy. The cathedral, completed in 1875, has a stained-glass windows in its north transept depicting the discovery of the True Cross by Helena, mother of the emperor Constantine, and restoring a dead woman to life after the Cross was laid upon her. After the rape, assault, and even murder of hundreds of thousands of children by Newchurch bishops and presbyters, and the aiding and abetting of these crimes all the way up to Benedict-Ratzinger himself, Newvatican has issued revised rules on sex crimes, which show no significant change from 2001, when Card. Ratzinger, as Sex-crimes Czar, issued rules that suborned the cover-up of Newchurch's Great Sex & Embezzlement Scandal. The 2010 revised rules show that Benedict-Ratzinger and his New Order crowd have learned nothing over the last ten years from the dastardly deeds that Newchurch clergy have perpetrated against their child-victims.
The revised rules, formally titled Normae de Gravioribus Delictis, were approved by Benedict-Ratzinger on May 21, 2010, and sent to all Newchurch bishops on that date, but were kept secret from the public for almost two months. After all, the Benedict-Ratzinger papacy has certainly not been known for its transparency! One of the few acts added as a new crime is "the acquisition, possession or distribution of pornographic images of minors under the age of 14, a clerico turpe patrata. It seems that this wasn't even considered a crime by Card. Ratzinger in 2001!
Child victims have denounced Benedict-Ratzinger's 2010 revised rules as "little more than administrative housekeeping, since they made few substantive changes to current practice, and what is needed are bold new rules to punish bishop who shield paedophiles." The Survivors' Network for Those Abused by Priests [sic] criticized the revised rules, which, the organization said:
can be summed up in three words: missing the boat. They deal with one small procedure at the very tail end of the problem: defrocking paedophile priests [sic]. Hundreds of thousands of kids, however, have been sexually violated (by) many other more damaging and reckless moves by bishops and other church staff.
The child-victims groupo Bishop Accountability also criticized the revised rules, saying that Benedict-Ratzinger should have taken the opportunity to threaten bishops who shield abusers and tell bishops to stop lobbying legislatures against extending the statute of limitations on abuse cases. We just published a report that Newchurch presbyter Kevin Gray had been caught stealing 1,500,000 U.S. dollars from the Novus Ordo collection plate to sponsor his lavish "gay" lifestyle. Now we have presbyter Samuel Ciccolini, betten known by his alias, "Father Sam," charged on July 13, 2010, with embezzling 1,000,000 U.S. dollars from the Newchurch home for drunks and drug addicts that he was running. The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation found that he in fact had made 139 individual cash transactions in the Akron, Ohio, area from April to June 2003 to evade federal banking regulations and to evade income taxes.
Ciccolini was another one of those "favorites" of JPII, like the now-exposed paedophile head of the Legion of Christ, Marciel Maciel, whom JPII called a "saint" while he was raping his own son. Ciccolini too was favored by JPII for his work and concelebrated with him an invalid Novus Ordo service in his private chapel in Newvatican. Like the now-exposed pervert Maciel, Ciccolini was a siren of a fund-raiser, smooth-talking the old ladies out of their money.
Ciccolini was not doing Newchurch's supposedly charitable work out of the goodness of his Novus Ordo heart. He was walking off with a cool $182,029 annual salary for himself according to the FBI. Ciccolini now faces up to eight years in prison and fines of half a million dollars.
Meanwhile, his clueless Newchurch patsies were completely taken for a ride. They described the apparent embezzler as "a man with a flawless reputation..., impeccable credentials, and incredible integrity." "I don't think there's a dishonest bone in his body," said one completely bamboozled associate. But isn't this always the case in Newchurch? Newvatican under its Chief Executive Officer, Benedict-Ratzinger has posted its its third consecutive financial loss, with a 5,200,000 U.S. dollar deficit in 2009. Most of the out-of-control 323,500,000 dollars in expenses were made to cover the junkets of Benedict-Ratzinger and his Newvatican radio station, which has been converted to a more "hip" style under his aegis. Good Catholics, is financial bankruptcy chasing hard on the heels of Newchurch's moral bankruptcy?
In a communique dated July 11, 2010, the supposedly-silenced senior bishop of the Society of St. Pius X, Richard Williamson, spoke again -- on the subject of the "negotiations" between Bernie Fellay, Superior General of the Neo-SSPX, and his agents, with the Novus Ordo Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith. These are commonly called the "sellout negotiations," because Fellay has publicly supported selling out SSPX Founder Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre's strong traditional principles in order that Fellay and his Neo-SSPX can be "recognized" by the New Order Church, led by Benedict-Ratzinger.
In his communique, Williamson confirms all of the criticisms that we TRADITIO Fathers had made from the beginning of the sellout negotiations. Williamson states, based upon an internal report from SSPX bishop Alfonso de Galarreta, who is representing Fellay in Newrome. Galaretta is "disappointed" by the discussions because "they [the sellout negotiations] lack theological precision. Two lines of thinking which cannot meet produce not a dialogue but rather two monologues. However, the Romans are nice to us, so the meetings are not so much vinegar as mayonnaise."
Williamson chooses an interesting metaphor, since vinegar is good for the body, whereas mayonnaise, which conceals some vinegar, is bad for the body. Williamson implies that Fellay's Neo-SSPX is merely being bamboozled by the Novus Ordo prattle, as "since the time of John-Paul II, it has become more subtle." That is true. Benedict-Ratzinger has learned to coat the Novus Ordo poison with an enticing sugar crust, like an M&M. Williamson reveals that Fellay's representatives have already been deluded into thinking that "these particular [Novus Ordo] Romans are not perverse." A California man who charges that he was sexually assaulted after Vatican II by a presbyter, Titian Miani, who belonged to the Salesian order, filed a lawsuit July 7, 2010, claiming that Newchurch officials covered for the cleric by shuffling him between Italy, Brazil, Canada, and California over three decades. At least twelve children were the presbyter's victims in a "Catholic" high school in a suburb of Los Angeles. In 2008 the Salesian order paid 19,500,000 U.S. dollars in damages to 17 other victims of Miani.
"The reason Miani has been allowed to remain as a priest [sic] and was moved from continent to continent, from country to country, and parish to parish ... is because the Vatican and the Vatican officials have chosen to protect him and their reputation," said the plaintiff's attorney at a news conference, who wants to subpoena Benedict-Ratzinger, since he has been in charge of sex crimes for Newchurch since 1981.
To this date, after confirmed cases of Miani's rape of children, Benedict-Ratzinger has not "defrocked" him. He remains a presbyter "in good standing" with Newchurch. This is a hackneyed Protestant screed against Catholics. The point of the Scripture is pagan "vain" repetitions. If one chants a mantra like the pagan Buddhists, that would be "vain." Saying a prayer more than once, with content coming from the mind and heart, is not a "vain" repetition. Nevertheless, Catholics need to be advised that prayer is not some kind of word contest. Fewer words, but from the mind and heart, are what Christ asks for, not some thoughtless mumbling mantra without fervor or attention.
A Newchurch monk has confessed to stabbing to death a vicar general presbyter and a nun in North China's Inner Mongolia region. The victims were both members of the Novus Ordo underground Church in Communist China. Their bodies were found in a pool of blood after they failed to show up for a morning Novus Ordo service on July 6, 2010.
Originally, it was reported that the murderer was a layman, but then a Novus Ordo monk confessed on July 9, 2010, and was arrested for the crimes. In a scathing July 9, 2010, editorial entitled "The Pope's Duty," the New York Times, which has in recent months been publishing major investigative articles on the Card./Newpope's personal involvement in Newchurch's Great Sex & Embezzlement Holocaust, has condemned Benedict-Ratzinger for failing to acknowledge that "crimes against children should take priority over bureaucratic Church policies that served to cloak rogue priests and bishops in a fog of ecclesiastical evasion."
The Times denounced as "shocking" Benedict-Ratzinger's failure over the last ten years, during which he has been in sole and complete charge of the horrific crimes of Newchurch bishops and presbyters, to mandate (not merely "suggest") that Newchurch bishops report child rapists immediately to secular authorities. After 700 presbyters in the United States over the last three years alone have been dismissed for sex crimes, Benedict-Ratzinger is reportedly still working on new "guidelines" -- not mandates -- which permit lenient action instead of a zero-tolerance policy and 100 per cent transparency to affected parents and parishes.
According to an investigative report conducted by Times reporters: "It is becoming clear that, as a Vatican administrator for two decades, the future pope handled the paedophilia scandal with no great distinction. The Times editorial chastises Benedict-Ratzinger's papacy as incompetent and ineffective: "a dynamic policy has yet to emerge."
Remember Raymond Gravel, the pro-abortion, pro-homosexual male-prostitute presbyter, who ran with Benedict-Ratzinger's acquiesence for the Canadian parliament? Gravel was elected in 2006, but when he opposed a bill that would make the injury of a foetus during a crime as a separate crime from an injury to the mother, things became touchy. Benedict-Ratzinger switched his position and forced Gravel to make a choice between politics and religion. A "deal" was subsequently entered into whereby Gravel agreed to leave political office and serve only as a Novus Ordo presbyter.

But now that Newcardinal Marc Ouellet, of Quebec, has been transferred to Newrome as of June 30, 2010, to become Prefect of the Congregation of [New]bishops, all Hell has broken loose in Quebec. Gravel's Newbishop, Gilles Lussier of Joliette, Quebec, is once again protecting the pervert presbyter.
Lussier has announced that he will host catechetical training in his cathedral in August-September 2010. And whom has he chosen to lead this training but the pro-abortion, pro-homosexual Novus Ordo presbyter Raymond Gravel! Undoubtedly, Lussier picked him for this task because of his extensive experience in moral matters as a male prostitute! The training involves catechetical leaders, teachers, and parents. Now we have presbyter Kevin Gray stealing three times that amount from the Newchurch collection plate, 1,500,000 U.S. dollars, to sponsor his lavish "gay" lifestyle, hiring male prostitutes, paying admission to homosexual strip bars, hotel rooms -- all financed from the embezzled parish collections over the years. Gray shacked up with his paramours at the ritziest hotels, such as the Waldorf-Astoria, and bought only the finest clothing, Armani, Saks 5th Avenue, and Brooks Brothers -- all financed from the embezzled parish collections over the years. He dined at the most expensive restaurants, such as the Tavern on the Green -- all financed from the embezzled parish collections over the years. Gray also paid the rent for two of his homosexual prostitutes and sent one of them to Harvard -- all financed form the embezzled parish collections over the years.
Gray is the -- what is it now 1,000th? -- of Benedict-Ratziger's agents hauled up on criminal charges. He is being jailed until his arraignment before the Superior Court of Waterbury, Connecticut. He is facing 20 years behind bars -- which is too good for this thief and pervert. The pièce de resistance of this presbyter's massive cheating and lying is that he told his parishioners falsely that he was dying of cancer to gain sympathy.
Gray’s thefts began in January 2003. For seven years Newchurch bishop William Lori, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, allowed the embezzlement to continue. Gray refused to comply with the requirements that Newparishes work with a financial council on fiscal matters and issue annual financial reports to the diocese. Newbishop Lori let him get away with this fiscal malfeasance because Gray was a "popular" presbyter. (For our money, we'd take the unpopular presbyters every time. They seem to be the honest ones!)
Typical of how clueless the lay Newchurchers are, when Gray was finally investigated by police, the parishioners rallied to the thief's side, claiming that he was being defamed. On July 6, 2010, Benedict-Ratzinger appointed Msgr. Robert McElroy as auxiliary bishop of the Newchurch archdiocese of San Francisco, California. The new bishop is an out-and-out Modernist, a student of John Courtney Murray, the Newjesuit whose works were condemned as heretical by the Holy Office before Vatican II. McElroy is a full-throated supporter of Benedict-Ratzinger's personal and institutional cover-up of sex crimes among the Newchurch clergy. Contrary to now-documented evidence, McElroy wants to give Benedict-Ratzinger a pass for his immoral conduct as Newarchbishop of Munich, Germany, and as Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, where he consigned, under his own signature, child victims to the continuing predations of Newchurch clergy.
McElroy is four-square against denying the Novus Ordo cookie to "Catholic" politicians who advocate abortion and its public funding. "The imposition of eucharistic sanctions solely on candidates who support abortion legislation will inevitably transform the Church in the United States, in the minds of many, into a partisan, Republican-oriented institution and thus sacrifice the role that the Church has played almost alone in American society in advocating a moral agenda that transcends the political divide." So Benedict-Ratzinger has appointed a bigot as bishop. No surprise there. McElroy sounds just like Hillary Clinton, U.S. Secretary of State, who, when her husband U.S. President Bill Clinton was accused of some sex crimes of his own, claimed that he was the innocent victim of a "vast right-wing conspiracy." When it turned out that the charges were true, and that her husband had been luring a young woman into the Oval Office of the White House, Hillary Clinton never apologized to the "right-wingers" whom she defamed. We Fathers aren't expecting any apology from "bishop" McElroy either!
Belgian police, who are investigating over 500 rapes of children by Newchurch bishops and presbyters in Belgium, could not have been more surprised by what they found in their raid on the home of Newchurch's Cardinal Godfried Dannells, the head of Newchurch in Brussels, Belgium, since 1979. Danneels was associated with Benedict-Ratzinger in the Modernist takeover of Vatican II. The two, together with other Modernists such as Karl Rahner and Edward Schillebeeckx, used the Council like a virus to mutate the Catholic Church into a Protestant Church of their own making, later to be known as the Newchurch of the New Order. Only thirty of these 500 cases had been registered with the Newchurch investigating commission, and none with the police.
On July 24, 2010, Belgian police raided the offices of the Brussels archdiocese and Danneels' home to find documents revealing the involvement of the Belgian Newchurch bishops and presbyters in sex crimes against minors. The police found dozens of photographs in the Newcardina's house of the dead bodies of young girls raped, mutilated, and murdered. The Danneels has been hauled into court to explain this pornography -- or was Danneels himself involved in the crimes? That's what the court wants to know. The court also wants to know about the secret dossiers on paedophilia that Danneels burned. It is clear now that Danneels, for over thirty years the head of the Belgian Newchurch, was deeply involved in cover up of -- and possibly even participation in -- the rape, mutilation, and murder of dozens of young girls. He is expected to be examined on the stand under oath by prosecutors for hours.
Danneels apparently also had a fetish for the infamous case of Marc Dutroux, who kidnapped, raped, and murdered several young girls in the late 1990s. Police found in the Newcardinal's house dozens of photographs of the victims' corpses and the ruins of the cells where they were imprisoned, as well as magistrates' reports of the details of the crimes. Dutroux, a paedophile rapist and serial killer who kidnapped, tortured and raped six girls aged 8 to 19 between 1995 and 1996, is known to have killed four of his victims, two of whom were buried alive, was also convicted of murdering an accomplice.
Newcardinal Danneels was implicated by the head of the Newchurch's own independent commission in covering up numerous cases of sex crimes. The Newcardinal has been personally associated with fifty of the complaints made by the child-victims before the commission was disbanded following the police raids. The Newcardinal's bosom buddy, Newbishop Roger Vangheluwe, resigned after admitting he had raped his own nephew for decades. The Newcardinal had known about these rapes for 17 years and did nothing.
And what was Benedict-Ratzinger's reaction to the revelation that his Modernist handmaid since Vatican II had been implicated in at least the cover up of, if not participation in, the rape, mutilation, and murder of dozens of young girls? Flowers may be sparingly used in the sanctuary, particularly on high feasts, but should not be overdone. They should be placed between the candlesticks on the gradine. The use of flowers is explicity forbidden during Funeral Masses and Masses de tempore of Advent and Lent.
Belgian police investigating sex crimes against children by Newchurch clergy are now probing death threats against witnesses and magistrates. In June 2010 police raided a meeting of Belgium's Newchurch bishops as part of their investigation, seizing computers and documents. They even searched the tomb of at least one implicated cardinal.
Now the investigation has taken an unexpected turn. Police are also looking into threats against the lives of some witnesses and magistrates connected to the cases. A spokesman for the public prosecutor's office confirmed that an investigation was under way: "There are some threats against certain people around the case, and the prosecutor's office is investigating that." He said that the threats had been made against people who gave the authorities information or made a complaint, or against some magistrates.
The police raid in June 2010 on the offices of a Newchurch commission investigating the sex crimes led to some of the country's leading clergy being detained for nine hours. Police took away their mobile telephones to prevent them from communicating with their staff or with Benedict-Ratzinger at Newvatican. We are aware of no Newchurch hierarchs at this point who are not tainted, except perhaps a few that had no association at all with the situation, but neither did they speak out against it. Our guess is that Benedict-Ratzinger is not long for this world, and with the extra stress of the Newchurch holocaust, his time may be even shorter. Although the press conceals it, he is not a well man, as the TRADITIO Commentaries have several times documented.
If we use the historical example of the corrupt fourth century, when St. Jerome tells us four out of five bishops were heretics, and even probably some of the popes, it took more than a century to overcome that Arian heresy, which is still among us in the virtual denial of the divinity of Christ and its replacement with a Modernist/socialist agenda of some fabricated form of "Jesus" not to be found in Sacred Scripture.
It is widely thought that the "Motu" Mess, sometimes called by the novel term "Extraordinary" Mess, is the Traditional Latin Mass. It isn't. It is a Half Novus Ordo Mess, just five years away from becoming the full-blown invalid Novus Ordo Mess of 1969, and all too many pseudo-traditionalists have fallen for the hoax. But a Novus Ordo presbyter from the U.K., Gary Dickson, a Novus Ordo presbyter at Sacred Heart and English Martyrs in Thornley, has now admitted the "Motu" Mess hoax in a July 1, 2010, article for the Catholic Herald, a major Newchurch publication in the U.K.
Presbyter Dickson quotes from the 1958 document De Musica Sacra, which turned the Low Mass into a noise-filled show of "active participation." Paragraph 31 allowed the congregation, after the Protestant practice, to recite aloud all the prayers of the priest that are said out loud: the Gloria, the Credo, the Pater Noster, the Agnus Dei, and the Domine Non Sum Dignus, in addition to the server's responses. This unCatholic practice was the Modernist way of introducing into a New Order Church the Protestant concept of the "priesthood of the people" and undermining the unique role of the priest.
Presbyter Dickson notes that in Benedict-Ratzinger's "Motu" Mess of 1962-2007+ follows the prescriptions of the Neo-Modernist Council Vatican II by using in many places vulgar tongues for the "readings." He specifically states that his parish uses a "free-standing microphone" for this purpose. Dickson also notes that hymns at the "Motu" Mess are sung in the vulgar tongues at the Entrance, Offertory and Recessional. He specifically states that this untraditional practice is introduced to assuage Newchurchers who have "become accustomed" to this practice in the invalid Novus Ordo service. Dickson admits the pièce de resistance of the hoax that the "Motu" Mess of 2007+ introduces: "we ensure that those who wish to receive on the hand may continue to do so in accord with current [Novus Ordo] canonical rights and obligations."
Good Catholics, you seen how Benedict-Ratzinger has manipulated pseudo-traditionalists with his spurious and unCatholic "Motu" Mess of 2007+. It is, as we TRADITIO Fathers have always said, a Great Hoax to provide a bridge for more conservative Newchurchers into the invalid Novus Ordo. Should the papal flag and the national flag be placed in the sanctuary of a Catholic church? It does not seem appropriate for flags to be in the sanctuary.

Habitual placement of national flags in the sanctuary is traditionally disapproved by the Church. There have been some extraordinary situations, where it was permitted for a time, as during World War II, when the Stars and Stripes were sometimes displayed in the sanctuary of American churches. The practice is not to be encouraged, however, as nothing is supposed to be in the Sanctuary but what is related to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
The "papal flag" that you are referring to, by the way, is not a pope's flag, but the "national" flag of the entity known as Citta del Vaticano, the Vatican City State. This entity arose as a result of the concordat that the Church made with the Italian Fascist dictator Benito Mussolini in 1929. It is an irony that although Pope Pius XII is lately berated by certain secular Jewish organizations because of his supposed inaction against Nazi Germany, those same organizations have curiously not slammed Pope Pius XI for making a concordat with the Fascist dictator.
If your church or chapel does not have national flags in its sanctuary, it is following the more Catholic practice, placing Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Most Blessed Sacrament first over any secular government. As He Himself said: "My kingdom is not of this world" (John 18:36/DRV).
In an April 5, 2010, Open Letter to the SSPX's Superior General Bernie Fellay, Fr. Juan Turco, a priest of Society of St. Pius X, has declared that he has left the SSPX because of Fellay's continuing efforts to sell out the Society to the Newchurch of the New Order. "I cannot agree with what is being done by both you and the other fathers." Fr. Turco associates Fellay with blasphemy against the Blessed Virgin Mary in associating her with "Modernist errors" and "falsehoods" and states that he has left the SSPX for four clearly-defined reasons:
Fr. Turco states: "It is absolutely incredible how deeply you [Fellay] and the other [Regional] Superiors of the Society have fallen in order to avoid any talk about the flaws in these discussions with [New]rome and in order to persecute those who dare to raise objections.... My conscience cannot agree either with the doctrinal flaws included in the talks or with the abuse of authority that you have perpetrated. In good conscience, I cannot officially concur with what the SSPX is doing at present, and, for that reason, I see myself forced to leave the Society."
Has Benedict-Ratzinger become so tainted in soul by Newchurch's Great Sex & Embezzlement Holocaust, which he, more than any other single person, worked to aid and abet from a position of power over the last forty years, that he is seriously considering abdicating? Perhaps. On July 4, 2010, he will, for the second time in two years, visit the tomb of the last pope to quit the papal office, Celestine V, who abdicated after only five months in the face of corruption in the Church that he failed to manage.
Celestine V's tomb is located in Sulmona, Italy. On Benedict-Ratzinger's first trip there in 2009, he even left his pallium, in the Novus Ordo the symbol of his authority, on the tomb of the abdicating pope. Was he by this act saying that he would soon join Celestine in abdicating? Celestine was elected after a period of sede vacante of over two years and two months and reigned for only five months in 1294. In a precedent that sets a precedent for annulling all the actions of the post-Vatican II popes (Paul VI, John Paul I, John Paul II, and Benedict-Ratzinger), Celestine's successor, Boniface VIII, had all of his predecessor's acts nullified. Like Celestine, Benedict-Ratzinger has been absolutely incompetent in ridding the Church of the worst kind of moral corruption. Celestine, however, became a Saint for the holiness of his personal life. He just couldn't run the Church administratively. Benedict-Ratzinger, on the other hand, has for forty years actually participated in aiding and abetting the rape of children by his bishops and presbyters. There is a much lower region likely awaiting him shortly than the saintly realms of Pope Celestine.

The United States Supreme Court's June 28, 2010, decision blew a large hole in the wall of "sovereign immunity" that was protecting Benedict-Ratzinger personally and his Newvatican administration from directly facing the criminal and civil implications of Newchurch's Great Sex & Embezzlement Holocaust. One legal authority compared the high court's decision to the fall of the Berlin Wall.
The U.S. court's decision has placed on the front burner the question: Is the Vatican City State a country? Ironically, it was the Italian Fascist dictator Benito Mussolini that came up with the solution of the "Vatican Problem" in 1929, which created the tiny entity, measuring less than half a square kilometre, known as Città del Vaticano, Vatican City State, after the pope lost his temporal power on September 20, 1870, when the Italian army breached the ancient Aurelian Walls at Porta Pia to conquer Rome.
The high court's decision that Benedict-Ratzinger and his Newvatican do not have legal immunity from prosecution in sex crimes will have far-reaching financial and reputational consequences for Newchurch. Benedict-Ratzinger's lawyers attmpted to argue that Newpope and his agents were immune under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act (FSIA) of 1976, under which foreign states cannot be sued. The U.S. Supreme Court refused the alleged immunity.
In the international legal community, the debate on whether the Vatican City State has the immunity of a country rages on. Most Italian commentators tend to agree that the Vatican is a sovereign entity, as it has a marked territory, with Latin as the official language, an independent legal system, and its own police body, facts which tend towards giving it the same immunity as countries. But there are other legal authorities who argue that it is not a member of the United Nations and that religious leaders do not usually enjoy an immunity status.
The U.S. Supreme Court decision paves the way for other suits to be filed against Newvatican for bishops and presbyters charged with sex crimes, with aiding and abetting them, and with obstructing justice. The combination of potentially thousands of child-victims in numerous jurisdictions, now in federal as well as state courts, could result in enough cases to have devastating implications for Benedict-Ratzinger and his Newchurch. Eventually, the Newchurch of the New Order could be bankrupted.
Meanwhile, Benedict-Ratzinger is playing the part of the three proverbial deaf, blind, and dumb apes, maintaining that he has no control over his bishops or presbyters. Portugal is certainly making a mockery of the Faith, which is supposed to be contrary to the Fatima statement that the "dogma of the Faith will always be preserved" [in Portugal]. (The Fatimists, of course, give that statement so broad an interpretation that you could drive any truck through it.) Portugal has already approved abortion and "gay" marriage, far ahead of most other countries in Europe. Now the Newchurch hierarchy there is denying the dogma of the Faith.
The Newchurch bishop over Portugal's entire military has told a Portuguese-language news outlet on June 28, 2010, that he endorses homosexuality and that Newchurch is a "little inflexible" in its supposed opposition to the immoral practice, traditionally one of the Four Sins that Cry to Heaven for Vengeance. Januario Torgal Ferreira said: "I do agree with and accept a man who lives with a man, and a woman who lives with a woman.” He went on to say of these homosexual unions: "Affections are translated through this practice, through this psycho-affective fusion of mysterious unity that is the human being." What a bunch of Modernist gobbledegook! This kooky Newbishop then went on to endorse nude beaches.
Torgal admitted that he has been "warned once or twice" by Newchurch authorities, but he doesn't pay the warnings any heed because Newvatican from Newpope on down are just paper-tigers, whose words are never carried into action. After all, Benedict-Ratzinger has not fired a single bishop found guilty in Newchurch's Great Sex & Embezzlement Holocaust.
Good Catholics, are you getting the picture here? The Newchurch of the New Order and its clergy, including the highest clergy, are kooks. They couldn't find Catholic doctrine with map! The destruction of Newpope and Newchurch is the natural consequence of their anti-Catholic mania.
Since Benedict-Ratzinger's Great "Motu" Mess Hoax of 2007, which brought about the never-before-heard-of-in-history "Extraordinary" Rite, all kinds of pseudo-traditionalist presbyters have come out from under their Novus Ordo rocks pontificating in "blogs" on that Extraordinary Mess. One, who was never heard of before two years ago and now poses under a little-used letter of the alphabet, never fought for the Traditional Latin Mass one day since Vatican II, but recently endorsed handing out cookies in the hand at Extraordinary Messes.
All that aside, it is no surprise that when some equally clueless pseudo-traditionalist presbyter wanted to make a sacristy sign for the name of the pope and bishop for visiting presbyters to use in the Extraordinary Mess and asked the hapless alphabet-challenged blog-meister what form it should take, the meister gave the name in the wrong Latin case! In the Traditional Latin Mass, the names appear in the ablative case, as the object of the preposition cum, whereas the meister gave it in the nominative case, which makes no Latin sense.
One has to wonder whether these spurious presbyters of the Extraordinary Mess have a clue what they are doing. Very few of them have bothered to study any Latin. They certainly haven't studied any Catholicism, but were "matriculated" from the same Novus Ordo "seminaries" that are producing the pink paedophiles we so often hear about these days, as acknowledged even by Benedict-Ratzinger himself. What kind of a phony Mess are the Motarians actually getting? Have any Motarians even bothered to ask, or is it sufficient for them to get something that merely sounds like Latin and to receive invalid Novus Ordo cookies from the tabernacle. (Perhaps they are just afraid to ask because they know that they wouldn't like the answer.)
JPII's Newchurch pontificate has now been shown to be more papal self-promotion than concern for the problems and the decline of the Newchurch. More and more evidence has come out in the five years since his death showing that the vaunted JPII was far from a Saint and was involved in the aiding and abetting of sex crimes against children. Upon his death a staged demonstration was trumped up to make him a Subito Santo, an immediate Saint. But now it seems that the Novus Ordo conanization has been derailed indefinitely.
According to the Milan newspaper Il Giornale, JPII's expected 2011 beatification has been postponed until further notice. Officially, there's a problem with his alleged miracle, the healing of a French nun. Even Newvatican's own medical experts question the "miracle," so it has been thrown out, and another one demanded.
But the phony miracle is not the only problem. Countless voices in Newvatican have pointed to moral defects in JPII, including his neglect of his daily duties in the operation of Newchurch, including gross malfeasance in the handling of the thousands of sex-crime cases against children referred to him. Moreover, JPII publicly praised and blessed the founder of the Legion of Christ, presbyter Marciel Maciel, who was a multiple rapist, even of his own bastard children.
The Polish newspaper Dziennik had announced that the Congregation for the Causes of Saints had determined JPII's beatification to take place on April 2, 2010, exactly five years after his death. That date has come and gone. As recently as the beginning of June 2010, Stanislaw Dziwisz, who was made by Benedict-Ratzinger Newcardinal-archbishop of Krakow, Poland, allegedly as a payoff for his silence about the immoral activities of JPII, said that the beatification process of JPII was about to be concluded, and Benedict-Ratzinger himself was said to want to close the process "as soon as possible" before any more incriminating evidence is discovered. Traditional Catholic producer-director Mel Gibson's adultery has apparently resulted in blows. His now-estranged adulteress, the chanteuse Oksana Grigorieva, claims that Gibson struck her during an argument, an allegation that Gibson says is distorted. At the same time the producer-director of the traditional Catholic epic The Passion of the Christ (2004) claims that "Oksana was completely out of control that day, screaming, and shaking Lucia [their illegitimate child] like a ragdoll."
Each has now reportedly has a restraining order against the other. Somehow the wisdom of the Sixth Commandment has gotten lost in the shuffle. [Some information for this Commentary was contributed by TMZ.]
The Belgian police have seized 450 files containing details of paedophile crimes by members of the Newchurch clergy in Belgium, which had been submitted to an internal committee of Newchurch and not followed up on. These cases were found to be part of the widespread paedophilia practices in the Belgian Newchurch while Newcardinal Godfried Daneels was archbishop. Danneels retired in January 2010 after thirty years heading the Brussells Newarchdiocese.
Danneels, who was a Modernist leader at Vatican II with then "Fr." Ratzinger, was Primate of Belgium from 1979 until 2010. His sympathy for paedophile attitudes and arguments among the Belgian bishops during this period was no secret. In 1997 he published a Novus Ordo catechism, which included child pornography. One illustration included was of a naked little girl uttering sexual statements. Another drawing showed a naked little boy and girl "playing doctor" [a euphemism]. A third illustration showed three pairs of parents urging the naked little children to engage in [deleted].
On September 3, 1997, Dr. Alexandra Colen, a member of the Belgian Parliament, wrote to Newcardinal Danneels, saying: "When I see this drawing and its message, I get the distinct impression that this catechism textbook is designed intentionally to make 13 and 14 year olds believe that toddlers enjoy [deleted]. In this way one breeds paedophiles." Dr. Cohen went on to report that in Newchurch schools in Belgium, little children were taught to put prophylactics over [deleted] and were forced to watch videos showing techniques of [deleted].
Dr. Colen insisted that Daneels forbid the use of this pornographic catechism. Daneels refused. The papal nuncio of JPII also refused to take action. Newcardinal Ratzinger, Prefect of the Doctrine of the Faith Congregation, refused to take action. So much for appealing to Newrome! In fact, Danneels' collaborator, the Bishop of Bruges, was revealed to have been perpetrating sex crimes against children since at least 1985, when he became bishop. Vangheluwe not only entertained paedophile ideas, but also practiced them on his 11-year old nephew.
Good Catholics, the heroes in this story are the Belgian police, who raided the house and office of the perverted Newcardinal Daneels on June 24, 2010, to find records of 450 children raped under his direction. When news of the cache hit Newrome, did Benedict-Ratzinger praise the action of the police in forcing this paedophile out of his foxhole? No, he supported his fellow Modernist Daneels. The Newchurch of the New Order is not Catholic. It is a sham, and its head, who has been responsible for thirty years of aiding and abetting perverted Newchurch clergy in their sexual assaults upon children should be run out of Rome on one of Mussolini's Fascist rails!
Newchurch cardinal Christoph Schonborn, of Vienna, Austria, was dressed down by Benedict-Ratzinger for criticizing former Newvatican Secretary of State, Angelo Sodano, who stated that reports of sex crimes against children in Newchurch was merely chiacchiericcio, loosely meaning gossip. Newvatican was desperate to spin Schonborn's forthright statement as a "misunderstanding." It was no misundestanding. Tens of thousands of such reports around the world have now been confirmed beyond doubt.
Good Catholics, once again Benedict-Ratzinger has come down on the side of paedophile-favoring Newchurch hierarchs, not the child victims that he pretends to be so sorry for. Nothing has changed in the Newchurch of the New Order under Benedict-Ratzinger. In fact, the deception, politicking, and sometimes outright lying are worse than ever, as the Biblical millstone gets heavier and heavier around his neck.
In a stunningly-unexpected action, the United States Supreme Court on June 28, 2010, refused an appeal from Benedict-Ratzinger to be held immune from lawsuits and prosecution for sex crimes. This ruling marks the first time that Benedict-Ratzinger has been successfully sued for his Newchurch's sex-crimes holocaust. The high court's ruling opens the possibility for Benedict-Ratzinger himself to be deposed under oath on his involvement in the sex crimes. A separate federal lawsuit filed in Louisville, Kentucky, is currently being heard, which charges that Benedict-Ratzinger is responsible for his U.S. bishops who failed to stop presbyters from raping children.
Normally, the Sovereign Immunities Act prevents a state from being sued, but the Supreme Court, hich now includes six Newchurchers in its nine members, has ruled that Benedict-Ratzinger, ruled that Benedict-Ratzinger cannot hide from charges of conspiring with his U.S. officials in sex crimes against children under the specious argument of "immunity." The high court ruled that a lawsuit against Benedict-Ratzinger's administration for transferring a Newchurch presbyter from city to city despite repeated charges against him of sex crime can move forward. Even the Obama administration had unsuccessfully weighed in on the side of Newvatican before the court.
The original lawsuit, John V. Doe v. Holy See, was filed in 2002 by a Seattle-area man who says presbyter Andrew Roman repeatedly raped him when a child. The plaintiff charged that Newvatican conspired with the Newchurch archdiocese of Portland, Oregon, and other parties to protect the presbyter by moving him from Ireland to Chicago, Illinois, to Portland. Ronan admittedly began raping children first in Armagh, Ireland, then Chicago, Illinois, then Portland.
Benedict-Ratzinger's lawyers appealed to the U.S. federal courts to throw out the lawsuit, basing his argument largely on sovereign immunity. The tiny state of Vatican City claims sovereign immunity under a deal struck with Fascist dictator Benito Mussolini in 1929. However, a U.S. District Court had already rejected Newvatican's argument that it is not responsible for the actions of individual presbyters. The court further ruled that Newvatican could not hide under the Foreign Sovereign Immunity Act because there was enough of a connection between the Holy See and the presbyter for him to be considered an employee of Benedict-Ratzinger. That ruling was later upheld by the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and now by the U.S. Supreme Court, the final authority.

I have encountered many traditionalists who believe that Vatican II was dogmatic, not pastoral. Overall, I'm confused about Vatican II being dogmatic or pastoral.

We TRADITIO Fathers are frequently asked whether Vatican II has any dogmatic force. It is clear, as many documents confirm, that neither did John XXIII, who convoked the Council, authorize the council to treat dogma, nor did Paul VI, who promulgated the documents of the Council, intend them to be part of the essential Magisterium of the Church. Both regarded the Council to be pastoral, not dogmatic, in nature, and therefore not part of the essential Magisterium of the Church.
What conclusion, therefore, can be drawn about the authority of Vatican II? That, according to the two popes of the Council, it was merely pastoral in nature and is not to be accorded the authority of the essential Magisterium of the Church. In holding that understanding, Catholics are simply obeying the words of the two popes themselves. Vatican II, therefore, as a pastoral council, has no dogmatic force and can be held to be imprudent or even in error, with no compromise to one's Catholic faith. "Practical decisions of churchmen, even the highest authorities, the pope, bishops, and priests, are something quite different [from that of de fide statements of truth, to which we owe assent of belief].
