After all the hoopla when Newchurch purported to Novus Ordo con-anize Newpope JPII-Wojtyla in 2014, in just two years devotion to the Unsaint is flagging. In fact, Melbourne, Australia's Newarchbishop Denis Hart stunned Newchurch by shutting down the John Paul II Institute for Marriage and Family on October 26, 2016, because of what he described as the "small number of students."
The institute was founded in 2001 by the man who is now Newarchbishop of Sydney to "promote marriage and the family for the good of the whole Church and the wider community, within the context of higher education in Australia and education in theology." The institute is an affiliate of the Pontifical Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family, that is, an agency of Newpope Francis-Bergoglio. True Catholics, a similar fate almost shut down the John Paul II Cultural Center in Washington, D.C. So few Newchurchers visited the Center that it was put up for sale in 2010, but was bailed out at the last minute. Attendance is not reported to be doing any better since. All this is a suitable obituary for the phony Novus Ordo "Unsaint," the First Paedophile Newpope, who openly blessed paedophile Newclergy, like the notorious presbyter Marciel Maciel, head of the Legionaries of Christ, whose 26-year regime destroyed most of what little remained of Catholicism in the Newchurch of the New Order.
On October 24, 2016, the venerated Church of the Transfiguration in the Holy Land was desecrated. In what otherwise could have been a stunning case of sacrilege, thieves entered the church, but when they broke open the tabernacle, it held only invalid Novus Ordo cookies. The thieves scattered these on the floor, damaged icons and statues, and stole chalices and some money.
The Church of the Transfiguration is situated atop Mount Thabor, where Our Lord Jesus Christ was transfigured before His Apostles Peter, James, and John. Only on this occasion, for a brief moment, Christ allowed His heavenly glory to illumine His body and even His garments. Nevertheless, the Newchurch bishop of Jerusalem, Giacinto-Boulos Marcuzzo, termed it a "petty" crime. True Catholics, which was the greater sacrilege: what the ignorant thieves did or what the conniving Newchurch of the New Order did to replace the Catholic Church over the last fifty years with Newchurch's anti-Catholic doctrine, morals, and worship? It is as if Almighty God, foreseeing the sacrilege, blasphemy, and idolatry of Newchurch voided its "sacrament" in order that such occasions would not be the worst sacrilege: the desecration of the true Body and Blood of Christ.

Recently I was shocked to learn from a friend and fellow member of one of Bernie Fellay's Neo-SSPX sites Georgia, that she had received a letter from the "priest" there, which banned her from attending future Masses because a medical condition that causes her to have an occasional minor shoulder twitch was too much of a "distraction" for the Neo-SSPXers.
My friend is a very devout person who previously had attended Mass at Bernie Fellay's Neo-SSPX on almost a daily basis and who supported the site consistently with her donations. In fact, my friend had been saving up to attend the grand opening of the Neo-SSPX seminary in Virginia in the United States this fall -- you know, the one that looks like a prison.
My question for the TRADITIO Fathers is this: does the Neo-SSPX have the authority to ban someone from all its services for an involuntary medical condition? Does such an action comport with Christian charity and morality?

This kind of action is typical of the smug and unChristian dictatorial attitude of Bernie Fellay's Neo-SSPX. Fellay's group is certainly not the same as Archbishop Lefebvre's original traditional Catholic SSPX group, though it continues to use the same name to pull the wool over the eyes of its members. We can hardly believe that the Archbishop would have acted in this unChristian way. The Archbishop was a true Christian gentleman. Fellay, as we have so frequently reported in our Daily Commentaries, is a petty bureaucrat-dictator, in no way the successor of the great Archbishop Lefebvre. Frankly, we are surprised that you and your friend would have placed yourselves to such a degree under the thumb of Fellay and his local henchmen. But that is how the Neo-SSPX treats its members. Our files run over with reports similar to yours. Fellay makes virtual slaves -- all too often willing slaves -- of its members.
Assuming that the letter was the first this woman heard of this matter, what a cruel way to treat someone, particularly one so devout. Devotion to Fellay's Neo-SSPX earns one nothing. We TRADITIO Fathers have received many complaints similar to yours. This "priest" should certainly have sat down with the woman and worked out some kind of accommodation. There are undoubtedly several charitable alternatives. If she sat in the back, for example, how could she be disturbing anyone? Or her minor disability, instead of being a "distraction" for carping Neo-SSPX members, could be viewed by them as an opportunity to display patience toward a fellow human being.
This incident should be a wakeup call to you and your friend, as well as all who are still malingering in Fellay's anti-traditional Neo-SSPX. They should be jolted to terminate their association with such an immoral organization as Fellay's Neo-SSPX, which is hardly traditional Catholic any longer, given its continuing efforts to sell out to the anti-Catholic New Order sect. Obviously, the Marxist Newpope's hateful attitude toward true Catholics, often documented in our Daily Commentaries, is rubbing off on Fellay. Moreover, that seminary in Virginia is a travesty, as we have also covered several times in our Daily Commentaries.
To answer your question directly, because this woman has so improvidently attached herself to Fellay's dictatorial Neo-SSPX, she has given Fellay & Co. complete control over her. Fellay's "authority" is whatever he wants to make it. Her best response at this point, now that she has been forced to recognize the reality, is to get out of the Neo-SSPX entirely and cut off all her support of it. Fellay is in the process of selling out to the New Order sect anyway.
This is the kind of thing that goes on all the time with Fellay. Him we understand. The clueless and cowardice of those who follow this obvious petty bureaucrat-dictator we have more trouble understanding. Fellay is certainly no Archbishop Lefebvre. If the saintly Archbishop were to come back from the dead, he would surely whip Bernie Fellay out of the SSPX in the same way in which Our Lord whipped the sacrilegious moneychangers out of the Temple.
Francis-Bergoglio devoted his October 23, 2016, Novus Ordo "homily" to an attack upon traditional Catholics. The foul-mouthed Newpope, who loves Muslims, Jews, and Buddhists, renewed his past attacks against traditional Catholics once again.
It is remarkable that this man, who is so lovey-dovey toward infidels, pagans, and even atheists hates true Catholics with a passion that burns like the fires of Hell within him. Well, perhaps it is not so remarkable. He is a Marxist after all, and that is how Marxists attack those who respect God, Tradition, Truth, and Justice.
Bergoglio is essentially attacking his Lord Jesus Christ again, the God Whom he feigns to represent. Those true Catholics who follow Christ's doctrine: "If you love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15/DRV), Bergoglio calls "arrogant." True Catholics, now Francis-Bergoglio has added "arrogant" to the list of twenty slanders against true Catholics that he has already uttered: "closed in the past, doctrinaire, Donatist, fundamentalist, hypocritical, ideologue, idolater, legalistic, neurotic, obsessed, obstinate, Pelagian, pietistic, rebellious, restorationist, rigid, rigorous, ritualistic, scary, self-absorbed". And this is the man to whom the demented Bernie Fellay of the Neo-SSPX wants to sell out!
Francis-Bergoglio's New Order encyclical letter on "sin" against the environment for Newchurchers has been derided by two scientists who ought to know. Bergoglio's unofficial document, known only as Laudato Si because it has not even been issued in its official Latin form since May 24, 2015, claimed that "man had a destructive influence on the environment on numerous occasions." This what is known as the disputed "anthropogenic" causation for "global warming," let alone "climate change." Bergoglio, however, wasn't content with just his uninformed comment, which has nothing to do with religion, but went on to claim that his Newchurchers had commit a "sin" by "destroying the environment."
Two independent scientists, that is, scientists not dependent on Modernist/Liberalist governments for research funds, took a much different position at the April 25, 2015, workshop held in Newvatican. On October 12, 2016, they publicly derided Francis-Bergoglio's trumped-up "environmental sin" notion. The two distinguished scientists stated the obvious: "Nobody denies that the climate changes; it does so all the time, for totally natural reasons.... There is nothing any of us can do about that except adapt to the ever-changing climate." The scientists also made another important clarification: "It is a major mistake to conflate climate change with pollution. They’re two entirely different matters."
The scientists were asked directly why they thought that Francis-Bergoglio is so wrong in his scientific statements. They replied that Bergoglio is getting terrible advice from some exalted churchmen who are seriously deficient in scientific knowledge. Foremost among these is Marcelo Sanchez-Sorondo, an old buddy of Bergoglio's from Argentina. Sorondo, whom Bergoglio made the administrator of his Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences and later his Pontifical Academy of Sciences as well.
The scientists explained why Bergoglio & Co. were adrift in such bad science. "Many in the extreme environmentalist movement who want governments to interfere with free markets for energy generation from fossil fuels, nuclear sources, and renewable options are following causes they don't clearly understand from a scientific or net-benefit-to-society standpoint." True Catholics, there you have it. Not only is Francis-Bergoglio scientifically ignorant in these areas, but he is being advised by scientifically-ignorant Church politicians, who know even less than he does. This is what happens when ignorant churchmen involve themselves in science. On the other hand, in the time of Galileo Galilei (1564-1642), St. Robert Bellarmine and Pope Urban VIII were certainly not ignorant of science. They had a Classical education and were trained to understand science quite well, particularly astronomy. In fact, Bellarmine pointed out a significant error in Galileo's work on the causation of tides. Galileo got it wrong, and Bellarmine knew it. Bergoglio is another matter. In Newchurch, the blind lead the blind, and, as Scripture teaches us, both fall into the pit (Matthew 14:31).
Thank God, Francis-Bergoglio's blasphemous "Year of Mercy" will be closed on November 13, 2016. On that day, he has announced in a bull, Misericordia vultus, that the Holy Doors at the four archbasilicas of Rome: St. John Lateran, St. Mary Major, St. Paul Outside the Walls, and St. Peter's will be slammed shut. All this will occur on the day to which Newchurch moved the Feast of Christ the King in order not offend the Protestants, whereas Pope Pius XI ordered in 1925 that this feast fall on the last Sunday of October specifically to knock heads with Protestant Deformation Day. Traditional Catholics celebrate the feast on October 30 in 2016.
Francis-Bergoglio's Unholy Year was inaugurated on December 8, 2015, not with the beautiful millennium-old traditional rite, but with a Modernistic pastiche that featured, for the first time ever, not the sonorous traditional Latin psalms and prayers, but some vulgar Italian numbers. True Catholics, Francis-Bergoglio's "Year of Mercy" featured a completely out-of-balance free-for-all, which some said was conjured up to increase tourism in Rome, which has fallen off precipitously since Bergoglio's tenure. The fundamental problem is that in Christian theology mercy does not exist in a vacuum. The sinner must show contrition for sin and a firm purpose of amendment. Anything else is a sham and blasphemy. But the Marxist Newpope was only too happy to "forgive" unrepentant sodomites, bigamists, and radical Islamic terrorists. However, Bergoglio showed no mercy was Newchurch conservatives who spoke up for basic Christian values. He called them nasty names.
Newchurch has sold off the Immaculate Conception, an historic, traditional Catholic Church near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Charlie Chaput, the "Indian Feather" Newarchbishop there took almost two million dollars for the beautiful church to recoup funds that he has lost because of Newchurch's ongoing Great Sex & Embezzlement Holocaust. Chaput earned the moniker when he simulated a Novus Ordo Mess waving an Indian feather over the eucharistic dinner table, as he claimed that he had Indian blood. True Catholics, Newchurch is bleeding money at an increasing rate because of its paedophile Newclergy supported by the Newpope and because of growing rejection of the Marxist Francis-Bergoglio. Thus, Newchurch is desperate for funds and so is selling off hundreds of traditional Catholic churches, many of them to anti-Catholic groups.
Francis-Bergoglio's Newchurch is drowning in red ink, as more and more Newchurchers abandon his New Order sect. He has to do something to put back the denarii into his coffers. He has already rented out the Sistine Chapel for corporate dinner parties. On October 21, 2016, he announced that he is degrading the traditional papal summer residence at Castel Gandolfo -- which he himself has spurned -- to a mere tourist attraction.
Castrum Gandulphi in Latin is a town located some 25 kilometres southeast of Rome in the Alban Hills overlooking Lake Albano. Until Francis-Bergoglio degraded it, it contained the active 55-hectare Apostolic Palace that served as a summer residence for the popes away from the Roman heat. Even the Roman emperor Domitian (A.D. 81-96) once had a villa here.
It was here that bloody fighting occurred in World War II after Allied forces landed in coastal Anzio on January 22, 1944. Residents fled toward the pontifical villas seeking sanctuary, and Pius XII opened the doors to more than 12,000 people until Rome was liberated on June 4, 1944. It was here that Pope Pius XII and Newpope Paul VI-Montini died. It was here that Angelo Roncalli, later John XXIII, was created a cardinal in 1953.
It was here that Benedict-Ratzinger was forced out of the Newpapacy after exposure of his support of paedophilia among his Newchurch clergy, abdicating on February 28, 2013, and slamming shut the great wood and bronze doors on the main palazzo.
Castel Gandolpho is also the site of the Vatican Observatory, originally established in 1774 by Pope Clement XIV and relocated from Rome by Pope Pius XI in the 1930s because the smoke and sky-glow of Rome had made it impossible to conduct useful observations in Rome. I read that Bernie Fellay, the Superior-Dictator of the Neo-SSPX, which has broken away from Archbishop Lefebvre's original traditional Catholic Society of St. Pius X, is fabricating now a Twelve Million "Rosary Crusade" after his first two failed. I can recall in the past a One Million Rosary Crusade and then a Five Million Rosary Crusade.
Here we go again. Frankly, I've lost track of what all this "rosarying" is for. During one of these "crusades," Benedict-Ratzinger, who was eventually forced to abdicate because he was supporting paedophilia among the Newclergy, was Newpope. And what happened? Fellay lost almost 20 per cent of his priests, who abandoned him because he was selling out to the anti-Catholic New Order sect. Then, Fellay's senior bishop, Richard Williamson, abandoned him to support "The Resistance," an independent traditional Catholic group composed of many of these ex-Neo-SSPX priests.
Bishop Williamson also consecrated two more traditional Catholic bishops for the Traditional Catholic Movement. Now "The Resistance" has the same number of bishops as Fellay has in his Neo-SSPX. And Fellay cannot consecrate any more bishops because Newrome would cut him off at the knees if he did. Williamson and his two new traditional Catholic bishops, however, are free to consecrate others.
After the second "rosary crusade," the Marxist Francis-Bergoglio became Newpope. Then there was a planned Muslim service within the bounds of Vatican City on the eve of Pentecost Sunday, featuring not just a Muslim service, but complete with Jewish and Palestinian prayer meetings. Yet Pentecost Sunday is supposed to be the day on which the Catholic Church was founded.
In my humble opinion, God is telling Fellay: "I am not cooperating with you and your folly. All the rosaries in the world cannot change My Divine Revelation." That being the case, what is all of Fellay's rosarying for? Self-aggrandizement? The incorporation of Fellay's Neo-SSPX into the anti-Catholic Newchurch of the New Order? Fellay's vesture into the haberdashery of the New Order unconsecrated "bishops"? The sellout of the saintly Archbishop Lefebvre, who said, "This Conciliar Church is a schismatic Church"? All of the above?

True Catholics, rather than falling to the trap of yet another one of Fellay's counterfeit "rosary crusades," you might consider imploring Our Lord for the return of His true Church into the buildings currently possessed by the Anti-Catholic New Order sectarians. For this purpose, pray to the traditional Protector of the Church, St. Michael the Archangel, in the prayer of exorcism prayed every Sunday after Low Mass in traditional churches, chapels, and oratories throughout the world, Sancte Michael Archangele. Pope Leo XIII composed this prayer when he had a revelation at Holy Mass that the Church was being overwhelmed, and that the Archangel was God's appointed agent to thrust down Satan and those who conspire with him to destroy God's true Church. Wouldn't you just know that Francis-Bergoglio's impotent Newchurch would do nothing but talk about pro-abortion candidates who claim to be "Catholic," that is, Newchurch? In the U.S. federal election on November 8, 2016, the Democratic-party candidate for the Vice Presidency, Timothy Kaine, claims to be a "traditional Catholic," yet supports abortion and rejects capital punishment for grave crimes, which the Bible, the Popes, and the Doctors of the Catholic Church teach is quite moral, even necessary. (Newchurch, on the other hand, detests capital punishment for Modernist/Liberalist reasons.) The Democratic-party candidate for the Presidency, Hillary Clinton, is full-throatedly pro-abortion as a "right." The two Republican-party candidates, one a Presbyterian and one a former Newchurcher-now Evangelical, are both staunchly anti-abortion.
So, what does Newchurch do about the anti-Catholic/immoral Mr. Kaine? Well, one Newarchbishop Joseph Naumann, of St. Louis, Missouri, issued on October 17, 2016, a "strongly-worded column" in his house organ, criticizing Kaine as "a cafeteria Catholic [sic], picking and choosing the teachings of the Catholic Church that are politically convenient.” That's it. A column. No action: no ecclesiastical censure, no interdict from the Novus Ordo cookie and Kool-Aid. Francis-Bergoglio's Newchurch is all talk and no action. And not a lot of talk at that. One could easily believe that Bergoglio and his Newchurch are pro-abortion. No wonder they don't take these pseudo-Catholic Newchurch politicians down.
Newarchbishop Naumann noted that Kaine grew up nearby to St. Louis and was educated by Newjesuits -- the corrupt order that is openly Marxist, from which the Marxist Argentinean Newpope Francis-Bergoglio himself hails. Nauman chided Kaine for using the usual sound bites: "It is not proper to impose one's religious beliefs upon all Americans" and "Women can be trusted to make good reproductive choices." But aren't those just the platitudes that the vast majority of Newbishops are spouting, one way or another? These Newbishops certainly aren't teaching uncompromising Catholic doctrine! Newarchbishop Naumann went on to chide Kaine for hypocritically supporting efforts:
True Catholics, Newchurch is a paper-tiger and its officials all the way up to and including Francis-Bergoglio are certainly not Catholic. They are all talk -- and very little of that -- and no action. No public censure, no interdiction from the Novus Ordo cookie and Kool-Aid. No wonder that around the world Francis-Bergoglio's Newchurch is being mocked as do-nothing, immoral, and anti-Catholic and that "Mess" attendance is at an all-time low, and sinking further down. Yet the "conservative" Newchurchers -- quite an oxymoron -- still pander to the Marxist Newpope and his Newchurch. Sometimes it's hard to figure out who is the greater hypocrite -- the heathen shepherd or the oblivious sheep!
The new National Museum of Estonia features an exhibit that invites visitors to desecrate a virtual image of the Virgin Mary, in celebration of the Protestant Revolt in the historically Lutheran nation. Each museum visitor is invited to mock the Blessed Virgin by kicking her image, at which the image shatters into pieces and is replaced by the world "Reformation." It seems that Newchurch's "oecumenism" works only one way: against anything Catholic and for anything anti-Catholic, to the point of blasphemy.
Francis-Bergoglio has in recent months been making a big deal about the fact that he will be the headline act in Sweden, where he will fly on Halloween to celebrate with the heretic Lutherans the 500th anniversary of Protestant Deformation Day. The selection of the day equates with the grotesqueness of the heretical occasion. Perhaps Bergoglio's syncretism brought about the desecration of the Blessed Virgin, whom Martin Luther despised. True Catholics, what more does Francis-Bergoglio have to do before his New Order lemmings will shun him? He has encouraged sodomy, denied Our Lord Jesus Christ's teaching on marriage, and now lays the foundation for rejecting the Blessed Virgin Mary, whom some Protestants dispise.
On October 13, 2016, the Neo-SSPX's Superior-Dicator, Bernie Fellay, eschewing the example of original SSPX's saintly traditional founder, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, ran off again with his tail between his legs to his Marxist master in Modernist Newrome, Francis-Bergoglio. Whether Bergoglio even treated Fellay to lunch in the Casa Sanctae Marthae Executive Lunchroom was not disclosed.
After meeting with Bergoglio, Fellay hightailed off to a meeting with the Modernist Gerhard Mueller, Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the [New Order] Faith, and his secretary. Fellay brought along at Neo-SSPX expense his two assistant-lackeys, Alain Nely and Nicklaus Pfluger. Fellay announced after the meeting that the Newchurch "authorities" would be investigating "the several seminaries of the [Neo-SSPX] Society ... that will continue in the upcoming months." You can be sure that not on the discussion list with Bergoglio was the recently-announced postponement of the opening of the Neo-SSPX seminary in remote mountains of the State of Virginia in the United States, which was supposed to have been occupied at the beginning of October 2016. This seminary has been the source of much acrimonious debate within Fellay's Neo-SSPX, reports of which have, of course, been suppressed by Fellay & Co. However, the TRADITIO Network has its inside sources.
Many Neo-SSPXers have withdrawn their financial support from the project, which has become known as Fellay's "White Elephant," an extravagant expenditure of its members' hard-earned money on something that is unnecessary, as the current facility at Winona, Minnesota, can easily handle the needs of the tottering Neo-SSPX. Moreover, Fellay has been vilified for the absolutely grotesque architecture of the new structure, which seems to remind no one of the best of Catholic architecture, but only of a prison run by a dictatorial regime.
True Catholics, Fellay is no traditional Catholic, but a hypocrite, who mouths his detestation of Newchurch, but never misses an opportunity to hobnob with the Newchurch big wigs, even when it coincides with the occasion of dedicating a statue to the Arch-heretic Martin Luther. Fellay shamelessly continues to pander to the Marxist Newpope, who gleefully dismantles the last vestiges of Catholicism in the Newchurch of the New Order, which is most certainly not the Catholic Church.

What does traditional Catholic moral theology say about the hacking of E-mails for political purposes? Can it be morally justified?

One would have to consider the individual cases. The most recent celebrated cases involve government "secrets," exposed by U.S. bureaucrat Edward Snowden and corruption, for which U.S. Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was summoned to answer before the U.S. Congress. Ordinarily in traditional Catholic moral theology, individuals have a right to reasonable privacy in their personal affairs. However, the cases cited involve public affairs and possibly criminal activity on the part of the government or its officials.
A strong theological case can be made that in a democracy, the people have the right to know what the officials acting in its name are doing. Therefore, such cases of "hacking" can arguably be described as "whistleblowing." In fact, as a result of both the Snowden and Clinton cases, the public has reacted strongly and begun to address government abuses and crimes.
The Marxist Newpope Francis-Bergoglio is once again urging Lutherans to set aside doctrine to work with the Modernist/Liberalist Newchurch of the New Order, but the Lutherans will have none of it. The Ratzinger brothers both grew up in Regensburg. On October 13, 2016. the Newchurch Diocese of Regensburg, Germany, announced that it was admitting guilt and paying off over 400 choir boys upwards of 10,000,000 U.S. dollars, as they were physically and/or sexually abused by Ex-Newpope Benedict-Ratzinger's elder brother George, who directed the choir from 1964 (when Newchurch took over) to 1994, when most of the abuse occurred, and by other Newchurch officials. In the October 11, 2016, tranche of E-mails released by Wikileaks, Hillary Clinton's campaign for the U.S. Presidency is revealed to equate conservative Newchurchers with Protestant Evangelicals. The E-mails show high Clinton campaign officials as dripping with anti-Catholicism, personally attacking Rupert Murdock, the Chief Executive Office of Fox news international for raising his children in Newchurch (what Clintonians term "Catholic") and calling conservative Newchurchers "amazing bastards" of the [Christian] Faith. Clinton herself claims to be a Methodist, though she rarely steps into a church unless it is for political purposes.
In one E-mail, Hillary Clinton's campaign manager, John Podesta, charged conservative Newchurchers of "severely backward gender relations." The president of a conservative Newchurch group, Bill Donahue of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, retorted that the Clintonian "contempt for Catholicism [sic] is palpable."
Podesta also admitted in the leaked E-mails that his interest went far beyond the expression of a view. "We [the Clintonian Liberalists] created Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good to organize for a moment like this. On September 29, 2016, the remains of an heroic (traditional) Catholic Navy chaplain were laid to rest on October 8, 2016, inside Christ the King chapel of Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. Lieutenant Aloysius Schmitt, a (traditional) Catholic priest had helped his shipmates escape from the stricken battleship USS Oklahoma after it was torpedoed by the Japanese at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. The heroic Chaplain's unidentified remains were found in the wreckage and were buried with other "unknowns" in a cemetery in Hawaii. With the help of enhanced DNA technology, experts now made the identification.
Fr. Schmitt's corroded chalice, with a cross etched in its base, and his waterlogged Latin Missale Romanum were recovered from the wreckage of the USS Oklahoma months after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Fr. Schmitt, 32, had just said the Traditional Latin Mass that December 7, 1941, Sunday morning, the Vigil of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, when the ship was hit. Fr. Schmitt's remains now join in his memorial chapel that chalice and Latin Missale Romanum. After World War II, Christ the King chapel was built as a memorial to Fr. Schmitt. Then-Chief of Naval Operations and war hero Fleet Adm. Chester Nimitz attended the chapel's dedication to honor the courageous (traditional) Catholic chaplain.
The heroic (traditional) Catholic chaplain was posthumously awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Medal for heroism. The medal citation states that after helping several shipmates to safety, he became stuck in the porthole as other sailors tried to pull him through. "Realizing that other men had come into the compartment looking for a way out, Chaplain Schmitt insisted that he be pushed back into the ship so that they might escape. Calmly urging them on and imparting to them his traditional Latin blessing, he remained behind while they crawled out to safety." On October 6, 2016, it was announced that the (traditional) Catholic Church where John and Jacqueline Kennedy were married will be restored to the appearance that it had when the two wed on September 12, 1953. That year antedated all of Hannibal Bugnini's liturgical and architectural changes that were to bring about the New "Mass," the New Sacraments, the New Doctrine, and the New Morality of the anti-Catholic New Order sect, started in the mid 1950s.
At that time John Kennedy was a U.S. Senator from Massachusetts. The couple often spent weekends and summers in Newport, where the Bouvier family owned property and where the couple worshipped every Sunday when in Newport, as well as on occasion after Kennedy became the first (traditional) Catholic U.S. President. Five years after the wedding, in 1958, St. Mary's installed a new organ, so large that its pipes and casework filled much of the choir loft, covering two stained glass windows and other architectural features. St. Mary's was built between 1848 and 1852, and is a national historic shrine. On the heels of the official web site for the Newchurch diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart, Germany, calling for acceptance of "homosexual love" by Francis-Bergoglio's Newchurch, complete with a Novus Ordo "marriage rite" and nuptial blessing, Newbishop Johan Bonny, of Antwerp, Belgium, has called upon Francis-Bergoglio's Newchurch to approve a "ritual for blessing homo-pairs, divorced and remarried couples, and cohabiting pairs."
Bonny made the immoral and anti-Catholic proposal on October 6, 2016, hawking the publication five days later of his book, May I? Thank You. Sorry. Bonny openly credits his filthy proposal to Bergoglio's call during the two Newroman synods "to take a more contemporary view of society." Bonny prattles: "There is no way we can continue to claim that there can be no other forms of love than heterosexual marriage. We find the same kind of love between a man and woman who live together, in homo-pairs, and lesbian couples."
Bonny continues: "The aim is to bless sexual relationships outside of marriage and even against the law of human nature as good and valid expressions of human love, and therefore as good and valid images of divine love," claims Bonny. On September 30, 2016, the official web site for the Newchurch diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart, Germany, openly promoted "gay marriage," praising two Newchurch Lesbian "nuns" for abandoning their religious life to "marry" each other. The Newdiocese goes on to call for acceptance of "homosexual love" by Francis-Bergoglio's Newchurch, complete with a Novus Ordo "marriage rite" and nuptial blessing.
The web tract is aptly titled Verbotene Liebe [Forbidden Love]. The two Lesbian "nuns" were "married" in Italy by Franco Barbero, an Italian Novus Ordo presbyter notorious for his advocacy of gay "marriage." Barbero has already simulated nineteen other "gay marriages" this year. The Lesbians reportedly met during a Newchurch outing and "fell in love" with each other. It is revealing that the Newbishop of the Newdiocese, Gebhard Furst, is the official "media bishop" appointed by the German Bishops' Conference. Obviously, this blatant push for immorality is approved from high up in Newchurch.
Shoring up the perverted New Theology is Germany's Tubingen University, the academic den of Modernism that boasted as its premier professor the infamous Hans Kung, bosom-buddy to fellow Modernist Benedict-Ratzinger. You would think that with the current Newpope purporting to take the name of St. Francis of Assisi that Newchurch would tell the truth about the Saint who founded the Franciscan order. Instead, Newchurch wants to paint the Saint as a Modernist hippie, a Tradition-hating oecumenist ("all religions are equal," "we all worship the same god"). As usual, one cannot trust anything the Newchurch of the New Order says. The facts of the St. Francis's life are quite different. When Giovanni di Pietro di Bernardone converted from a pagan life to Catholicism, he did not just convert to a tepid Catholicism, but to a very committed traditional Catholicism.
Before his conversion in his twenties, Francis was a devotee of the paganistic, secular, often sex-obsessed and anti-religious troubadour music of his time. After his conversion he rejected such music entirely and embraced Sacred Music, not only within the Divine Office and Holy Mass, but outside as well. The Masses of his Franciscan order were far from stripped-down and simple. In fact, St. Francis took great care to ensure that Franciscan Masses exuded reverence and splendor. The Franciscan friars spent considerable amounts of money to hire musicians for the celebration of High Holydays. At a time when monks and friars would normally sing a capella, that is, unaccompanied, the Franciscans hired an organist to accompany the chant. They did not want Holy Mass to be "casual" or "austere."
St. Francis was deeply devoted to the Traditional Latin Mass. No vernacular "Mass" for this Saint and his followers! St. Francis lived about 400 years before the Council of Trent -- a fact that exposes the lie that is heard from the Neocon Newchurchers, who call the Traditional Latin Mass the "Tridentine" Mass, i.e., emanating from the Council of Trent. No, the Traditional Latin Mass is, as the great liturgical scholar Adrian Fortecue wrote, "the most venerable in all Christendom, with a history of unbroken use far longer than that of any Eastern rite, there being no doubt that the essential parts of the Mass are of Apostolic origin."
St. Francis prohibited any use of vulgar (vernacular) tongues among the Franciscans, considering them unholy. Only the Sacred Language of Latin was to be used. St. Francis even commanded his laypeople to say their Rosary in Latin, which he considered to be much more prayerful and effective than the vulgar Italian around him. It is ironic that Newpope "Francis" Bergoglio has completely perverted the sound Roman Catholic teaching of the great Saint. Bergoglio has turned a good deal of the Latin of the Roman Catholic Church into Italian, the vulgar language of a comparatively insignificant modern state.
From St. Francis's order have emanated some of the most beautiful Sacred Latin Hymns. One of the greatest of these is the Stabat Mater, taking as its subject the Blessed Mother standing at the foot of the Cross. The Gregorian chant of this hymn, set by Jacopone da Todi, has been set to polyphony by noted composers such as Boccherini, Dvorak, Palestrina, Pergolesi, Rossini, both Scarlattis, Schubert, Verdi, Vivaldi, and many others. So influential was this Latin poem that it was added to the Universal Roman Missal for the feast of the Seven Dolors of the Blessed Virgin Mary, set on the Friday following Passion Sunday. It is also part of the Franciscan method of praying the Stations of the Cross, with which countless Catholics (but few Newchurchers) are familiar.
But arguably the Church's most sublime hymn, the Dies Irae, chanted during the traditional Requiem Mass at every true Catholic's death, was composed in the 13th century by a Franciscan, Thomas of Celano. This hymn was removed in the wake of the anti-Catholic Vatican II Anti-council's "New Liturgy." If the Stabat Mater inspired the greatest composers, the Gregorian chant of the Dies Irae attracted a truly "'A' List" of composers, including Berlioz, Brahms, Haydn, Liszt, Mahler, Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky, and Verdi.
St. Francis and his traditional Catholic musical legacy has continued to inspire composers throughout the ages. In fact, the Dies Irae is the most quoted piece of Gregorian chant of all time. The Dies Irae was even featured in Peter Schaffer's play Amadeus, which was made into the Academy Award-winning Best Picture of 1984. The Dies Irae is also found in John Willliam's film score for 1977's Star Wars.
True Catholics, you can take pride in the Catholic Church's -- we are certainly not talking about the gutter Newchurch's -- unrivaled repertoire of Sacred Music, all in Latin. St. Francis was no Modernist, but a dyed-in-the-wool traditionalist. He deplored liturgical and doctrinal novelties. He went on the Fifth Crusade and courageously attempted to convert the Mohammedan leader Sultan Malek-el-Kamil, saying to his face, "We have come to preach faith in Jesus Christ to you, that you will renounce Mohammed, that wicked slave of the Devil, and obtain everlasting life." That is an historical fact that the lying Newchurch will never tell you!
Francis-Bergoglio got a rude awakening in Tbilisi, Georgia, the capital city of one of the world's oldest Christian nations, on his September 30, 2016, Newpapal junket there. Bergoglio is used to being greeted by adoring fanatics on his junkets, but not this time! The traditional Eastern Orthodox clergy and people openly rejected him and his Novus Ordo "Mess." As Bergoglio descended from the Newpapal plane, he was greeted at Tbilisi Airport not by adulatory crowds, but by protesters carrying banners declaring: "The [New]pope is a heretic and Anti-Christ." More protesters swelled the crowd when Bergoglio later in the day visited a New Order church.
October 1, 2016, was supposed to be the big day: with a Newpapal Novus Ordo "Mess" to be staged in Tblisi's great soccer stadium. Instead, the stadium looked as if it had been hit with an Islamic terrorist bomb. Instead of the tens of thousands expected, barely a few thousand showed up. Newvatican had expected an Orthodox "oecumenical" delegation to show up, but its seats remained empty. The Orthodox clergy boycotted the Newpope because, they said, his Marxist doctrines are heretical.
In particular, the Orthodox rightly reject Bergoglio's pro "gay" statements, which are in direct contradiction to Jesus Christ and the Bible. His putative doctrinal teachings on "oecumenism" ("all religions are equal," "we all worship the same god") and on homosexuality, as well as divorce and remarriage are clearly against those of Jesus Christ and the Bible. Bergoglio plays at a Novus Ordo "Mess" that is patently anti-traditional and invalid. The Orthodox are very serious about these matters, as they should be as Christians, and thus rightly reject Bergoglio as a Marxist phony, not a Christian.
On October 2, 2016, Francis-Bergoglio revealed that he had authorized a hasty Newsainthood investigation for the philo-Islamic presbyter, Jacques Hamel, whose throat was slit by his neighbor Muslim on July 26, 2016, as he simulated a phony Mess at his Novus Ordo dinner table. Although Hamel was originally ordained a Catholic priest in 1958, he apostatized to the New Order heresy in 1964 and became a Novus Ordo presbyter.

True Catholics, Hamel was slain doing the equivalent of a Presbyterian service at a Novus Ordo dinner table. He gave away Newchurch property in order that Mohammedan Infidels could build a mosque on it. The man who slayed the presbyter was a Mohammedan who attended Infidel services in that very mosque. When will these Newchurchers ever learn?
The Marxist Newpope Francis-Bergoglio is no Catholic. He is still working on overturning the God Whose vicar he claims to be by encouraging "Catholic" divorce and remarriage. Now he is reported to have another anti-Catholic rebellion up his sleeve: married presbyters (ministers). The selection of the theme for the 2018 Newvatican Synod of Newbishops, a group based upon the principles of Luther for radically undermining the Catholic Church, has not yet been announced, but at the top of the list are machinations to undermine the Catholic principle of celibacy for clergy, which was instituted by Our Lord Jesus Christ. Within just a few years, Bergoglio may well outdo the Arch-heretic Martin Luther!

The phony "excuse" for such an abomination would be the so-called "scarcity of priests." But, first of all, Newchurch doesn't have or want any priests. Newchurch hasn't ordained priests since 1968, when the Protestantized New Ordinal came into effect. Since then it has, by its own documents, merely "installed" what are called "presbyters," essentially Protestant ministers, who are given no explicit power to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass or to forgive sins. Priests, on the contrary, by definition offer sacrifice to God. The Latin term makes that clear: sacerdos, one who gives (do) the sacred (sacer).
In fact, the Catholic Church has always had a "scarcity of priests" in many places, particularly in missionary countries, which have comprised most of the world. The United States, for example, was officially a missionary country until into the 20th century. In 17th-century China, and even today, there certainly haven't been many priests, and yet the Church flourished. [Some information for this Commentary was contributed by Chiesa.]
True Catholics, Francis-Bergoglio is nothing if not a dyed-in-the-wool Marxist. Marxism deliberately undermines Church and state by destabilizing order and tradition. When a society becomes confused and unstable, then an autocrat, like Joseph Stalin, can take over with, if necessary, a bloody revolt. And Newchurchers sit back and approve all of this. If you thought that the loss of the Catholic Church as the "institutional" Church in 1964, and along with it the loss of the Catholic Mass and Sacraments, Catholic doctrine, and Catholic morals, was bad, just wait until Bergoglio finishes implementing the next stage of the Modernist Revolt. It will be worse than Luther's!
The Mohammedan state of Saudi Arabia, which the United States, Canada, and various European countries consider to be an ally, raided the homes of Catholics celebrating the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on August 15, 2016. The Catholics replied with the Vatican II Anti-council's heretical doctrine of Oecumenism ("all religions are the same," "we all worship the same god") and claimed that their prayers did not insult Islam because the Blessed Virgin Mary is also highly regarded in the Koran.
The Mohammedan state officials would have none of it. They immediately deported from the country the Catholics involved. Saudi Arabia claims to allow non-Muslims to practice their religions in private, but the Christian advocacy group Open Doors International reported that Christian practice is still heavily restricted even when done in private.
"Christians who engage in such activities risk arrest, imprisonment, lashing, deportation, and sometimes torture," according to the Christian advisory group Open Doors International. The religious police, known as the Haia, came under international scrutiny in 2015 when the agency was accused of "beating, whipping, detaining, and otherwise harassing individuals."
True Catholics, while Francis-Bergoglio shamelessly panders to Mohammedan Infidels, Islamic states are persecuting, and even executing, Christians by the thousands. Yet Bergoglio is unconcerned. He keeps preaching the Newchurch heretical doctrine of Oecumenism and instead denounces the international press for reporting on the executions of Christians by the Mohammedans.

Why would God command some very strict or "weird" things in the Old Testament, for example, the dietary restrictions in Leviticus 11, designating clean and unclean foods?

Far from being "weird," many of these are very sage prescriptions, with which even modern medicine agrees. The dietary laws, for example, seem to be based upon which foods would be safe at that time from contamination and which would not. However, the ceremonial, dietary, and other laws of the Old Testament -- not the universal moral ones, of course, like the Ten Commandments -- became obsolete with the advent of the New Covenant of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Who said: "There is nothing from without a man that entering into him, can defile him. But the things which come from a man, those are they that defile a man" (Mark 7:15/DRV).
In many ways, antiquity was much more intelligent than our modern times, in which, for all our prideful pronouncements, we are in a worse situation, both mentally and spiritually. It is rather we of the present age who are "weird."

A close family friend passed away this morning. I'm leaning toward skipping the Novus Ordo funeral and attending just the wake. But if I encounter family pressure to go to the Novus Ordo "funeral," when is the First Commandment of God violated where one is actually participating in the anti-Catholic and invalid Novus Ordo service? If I don't recite anything, and yet I sit, stand, and kneel at all the designated times, is that participation? Then again, I can just sit in the very back unnoticed. What would you Fathers advise?

You have all the right answers: go to the wake, which is not a religious service, not to the Novus Ordo "funeral." If you end up going to the funeral, sit in the back. If your family tries to pressure you, you can take advantage of the opportunity of a good "teaching moment" for you to explain to your family how the Novus Ordo sect is Protestant and makes you feel very uncomfortable as a Catholic having anything to do with it. Then ask them (assuming that they are Newchurchers): "Aren't you uncomfortable about this too? That puts the moral burden on them." Let them trip all over themselves trying to explain to you why they do not feel uncomfortable, while you just sit back and smile knowingly.

In accordance with the recommendation of Padre Pio, I pray the Morning Offering every day, but am troubled about praying for the intentions of Francis-Bergoglio. I can't believe that a Marxist and paedophile-supporter can be legitimately Catholic. Can you suggest an alternative?

We would suggest using the traditionally-approved prayer for "the exaltation of Holy Mother the Church." This often-overlooked prayer is prayed as part of the Leonine Prayers, or Prayers after Low Mass. You will find it in your traditional Catholic handmissal. It begins (in the Latin): Deus, refugium nostrum [God, our refuge]. Pope Leo XIII, in 1884, reported that he had had a vision during Holy Mass of the Church being overwhelmed by the forces of Satan, to be saved only by St. Michael the Archangel, Prince of the Heavenly Host. St. Michael's intervention for the Church is indicated in both the Old and New Testaments. It was because of this vision that Pope Leo decreed the Prayers after Low Mass to be recited, consisting of three Aves, the Salve Regina, the Deus, Refugium Nostrum, and the prayer to St. Michael the Archangel to protect us against Satan. In the Deus, refugium nostrum, you are praying, of course, not for the Newchurch of the Order, which is now headed by the Marxist Francis-Bergoglio, but for the true Catholic Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, wherever in these troubled times you find it outside of the "institutional" (Newchurch) structure, which is no longer Catholic.
Remember, too, that Padre Pio did not suggest that the Rosary was the only weapon for these times. Even more traditional are, inter alia, the Seven Penitential Psalms, the five approved Litanies (of the Saints, of the Holy Name, of the Sacred Heart, of the Blessed Virgin Mary/Loretto, and of St. Joseph), the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary (which is superior to the Rosary), the Angelus of the Blessed Virgin Mary (optimally prayed morning, noon, and night). All of these Pio prayed as well.
It is important to note that in 1964, the anti-Catholic Newchurch of the New Order, which replaced the Catholic Church as the "institutional" Church on November 21 of that year during the Vatican II Anti-Council, suppressed the prayer to St. Michael. Subsequently, Newchurch was completely overwhelmed, to the extent that its Newpope, Paul VI-Montini, publicly admitted just eight years later, on June 29, 1972, on the eighth anniversary of his coronation, that "the smoke of Satan (fumus Satanae) has entered the temple of God." Since 1972 the Newchurch of the New Order and its Newpopes have succumbed to heretical doctrine, an invalid and Protestant "Mess," and moral depravity, involving all the Newpopes personally in the filth of paedophilia and fraud. Meanwhile, the true Catholic Church continues to flourish in numerous places around the world, sustained in no small measure by the Leonine Prayers and the Prince of the Heavenly Host, St. Michael the Archangel.
