One of the more hilarious aspects of the Great "Motu" Mess Hoax is that the Novus Ordo presbyters invalidly trying to simulate it have no idea what to wear! Since Vatican II the vestments for the Novus Ordo service have departed substantially from the traditional form, which includes amice, alb, cincture, maniple, stole, and chasuble, in addition to the corresponding burse, chalice veil, and tabernacle veil. Let alone the biretta. Ecclesiastical supply houses don't even make these vestments any longer.
Reuters recently published a feature article detailing how after Vatican II (1962-1965) traditional vestments were "thrown out, sold to antiquarians, or stashed away in dusty cupboards of rectories or church attics." The article pointed out that Novus Ordo presbyters are so ignorant of traditional practice that they don't even know what a burse or a maniple is, let alone how to wear one. Novus Ordo presbyters use a phony albo-chasuble, a kind of mix-up between an alb and a chasuble. As far as an amice is concerned, even the Reuters article seemed totally ignorant of this vestment.
Of course, it doesn't matter what a Novus Ordo presbyter wears during a "Motu" Mess; it's still invalid. Novus Ordo presbyters are not ordained in the traditional rite to celebrate the true Mass, but are simply "installed" by the New Ordinal of 1969 to preside over the assembly of the people. The "Motu" Mess is just an "extraordinary" Novus Ordo sham service.
I report from the South of the United States, where SSPX "agents" regularly inundate our independent traditional chapel with Novus Ordo material written by Novus Ordo presbyters. These are the same invalid Novus Ordo presbyters that the current SSPX administration is preparing at Winona to be foisted upon SSPX sites all over the United States. The SSPX "agents" here keep talking about "the Mass, the Mass," but it is not the Traditional Latin Mass that they speak of, but the Vatican II Mass of "Blessed" John XXIII, modified to include features of Hannibal Bugnini's invalid Novus Ordo service of 1969.
The SSPX is now the least traditional organization (unfortunately the largest and wealthiest), and the attitudes and beliefs put into practice by the SSPX administration today appear so completely against Catholic reason that we must simply conclude that the SSPX itself, under the Fellay administration, is now actively working for Newchurch. There are, however, a number of traditional priests in the SSPX who are courageously resisting Fellay's moves toward joining the Newchurch of the New Order.
The acceptance of the "Motu" Mess within Benedict-Ratzinger's Newchurch is absurdly understandable. Over the past forty years Newchurch has worked diligently to support charismatic and all other forms of blasphemous "worship." Newchurch has created a spectrum of worshipping styles that subsist within the Newchurch structure under the guise of Universalism. The new Universalism is the acceptance of "diversity" in worship, which now includes the "Latin Mass," in whatever form might take. This diversity of worship has also, of course, led to Newchurch's acceptance of diversity in morality, including pro-abortion politicians, "gay" advocates, and rapist presbyters. This "diversification" of a once unified church is an amazing success story of the Modernist manipulators within Newvatican.
On July 16, 2007, Portugal officially vitiated the Fatima prediction that "in Portugal the dogma of the Faith will always be preserved." On that date a law legalizing abortion in Portugal came into in force, putting Portugal on a par with the other secularist European countries that allow the immoral practice.
The SSPX priest Fr. Giulio Maria Tam collected statements by Cardinal Ratzinger made in the semi-official Vatican publication L'osservatore Romano. Fr. Tam concluded that these statements demonstrate that since 1990 Ratzinger has been engineering a "Pseudo-restoration" of Tradition, whereas he in fact liquidates Tradition. Ratzinger's strategy, as documented in L'osservatore Romano, consists in the following elements:
Although Fr. Tam's preliminary work was praised by Archbishop Lefebvre on March 3, 1991, three weeks before the archbishop's death, by 2000 Fr. Tam's documentation of Ratzinger's continuing Neo-modernist Revolution became an embarrassment to SSPX's czar Bernard Fellay, who was by that time angling toward a sellout of the SSPX to Benedict-Ratzinger and the New Order. Therefore, in 2003, Fellay forced Fr. Tam out of the SSPX.
Here in France, more and more voices, both clergy and laity, of the Society of St. Pius X are publicly rejecting Fellay's Te Deumss to the New Order, and a leading French web site has been disseminating once again the work of Fr. Tam. Meanwhile, Newcardinal Hoyos and Benedict-Ratzinger are laughing at the naïveté of Bernard Fellay when they drink together and toast the success of their "Motu" trap so skillfully sprung by Benedict-Ratzinger on the Newchurch "conservatives" and the SSPX's Bernard Fellay.
Fr. Eberhard von Gemminger, Radio Vatican's German Director, told Il Messaggero, Rome's most popular daily newspaper: "I could well see 60 male and 60 female cardinals in the Sistine Chapel" gathered in conclave to elect a pope. Gemminger spoke of women of the likes of Mother Theresa, who is under suspicion for mixing the Hindu religion with the New Order religion to get converts, and Chiara Lubich, foundress of a Charismatic organization.
Benedict-Ratzinger sure knows how to pick them! Yet another appointee of his is "over the edge." Other "far-out" appointees of Benedict-Ratzinger have included a Communist spy as Primate of Poland and a Marxist as a cardinal.

Fresh from the Great "Motu" Mess Hoax perpetrated in his Summorum pontificum of July 7, 2007, Benedict-Ratzinger tergiversated and approved a July 10, 2007, document from Newchurch's Doctrine of the Faith Congregation, which indicated that truth, holiness, and salvation are to be found in heretical sects. Although this document has previously been commented upon in the TRADITIO Network's Commentaries from the Mailbox, here for our readers is the salient statement translated from the official Latin document Responsa ad Quaestiones de Aliquibus Sententiis ad Doctrinam de Ecclesia Pertinentibus [Responses to Questions about Some Opinions on Doctrine Pertaining to the Church]:
There are numerous elements of sanctification and of truth which are found outside her [the Catholic Church's] structure.... "It follows that these separated churches and communities, though we believe that they suffer from defects, are deprived neither of significance nor importance in the mystery of salvation. In fact, the Spirit of Christ has not refrained from using them as means of salvation.... [Iis enim Spiritus Christi uti non renuit tamquam salutis mediis]." By virtue of the diverse elements of sanctification and truth really present in them, [non-Catholic churches] undoubtedly possess as such an ecclesial character and consequently a saving power.
The highlighted statement comes straight from Vatican II's Unitatis redintegratio [Decree on Oecumenism, para. 3]. To maintain that the Holy Ghost (if that is what the phrase "Spirit of Christ" refers to) uses heresy as an "means of salvation" is itself heretical. We wonder how someone like Bernard Fellay of the SSPX can sing Te Deums to Benedict-Ratzinger for the hoax of Summorum pontificum, when, just three days later, Newpope issues a declaration that goes contrary to the beliefs of the Catholic Church and of the Society of St. Pius X, founded by Archbishop Lefebvre. Has the naive Fellay once again blindsided by the "vixen" (Luke 13:32) of Newrome to be cajoled into the New Order?
SSPX Superior General Bernard Fellay has given an interview to a right-wing newspaper here, in which he says that the text of Summorum pontificum is "positive," but that the accompanying letter to Newchurch bishops "should be put in a drawer." That is rather naive, as Benedict-Ratzinger intends them to be read together; the letter explains the motives and modus operandi behind Summorum pontificum.
Fellay continues to ignore the false principle included in Article 1 of Summorum pontificum, and he forbids anyone in the SSPX to speak or to write about it other than himself, as he wants the SSPX to display a subservient face to the Newrome. In defiance of Fellay, however, a number of SSPX priests here in France and elsewhere are fighting against the false principles of Article 1, which pretends that the Novus Ordo service and the Traditional Latin Mass are "a single rite" and reflect the same lex credendi [rule of belief]. Fellay is becoming increasingly isolated inside the SSPX in continuing to present Summorum pontificum as "positive."
Fellay had commissioned a propaganda campaign here in France for Benedict-Ratzinger in the two months before Summorum pontificum was issued, but the campaign has generally failed among the SSPX faithful. Now, three weeks after the issuance, the campaign seems to be a failure among the SSPX faithful and has now boomeranged on Fellay. He has tried, fruitlessly, to silence criticism of Summorum pontificum under obedience, but a number of the SSPX clergy have chosen to be obedient to God and Sacred Tradition rather than Fellay.
Fellay seems to have forgotten completely the hard-hitting words of the Founder of the SSPX and the man who consecrated him, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, on October 4, 1987:
Rome has lost the faith, my dear friends. Rome is in apostasy. This not just talk, this is not just empty words that I speak to you. It is the truth. Rome is in apostasy... It has quit the Church.... I have summed it up for Cardinal Ratzinger: "Eminence, you see, even if you grant a bishop to us..., we cannot collaborate. It is impossible, impossible.... How is it possible for anyone to trust people like that? It is not possible any more."
Indultarians here in Europe were stunned when Fr. Aulagnier, a priest of the Institute of the Good Shepherd, an "indult" society founded by Newvatican's Ecclesia Dei Commission in Bordeaux on September 8, 2006, for five expelled priests of the SSPX, publicly criticized Benedict-Ratzinger's lie that the Novus Ordo service of 1969, fabricated by the Freemason Hannibal Bugnini, and the Traditional Latin Mass of St. Peter and the early Church are "a single rite." Fr. Aulangnier pronounced on July 21, 2007:
On one thing, however, let me be a skeptic. Should one accept the teaching proclaimed in Article 1 of the Motu Proprio? Should one accept the "value and the sacredness" of the "New Mass" as we are asked to do by Benedict XVI? By reading Bishop [sic] Gamber, one may doubt that. But where is the "value and holiness" of the New Mass? So, I reject the Novus Ordo Missae of Paul VI. There is no authority in the world, even if it be a pontifical authority, which could stop me from rejecting it.
Fellay has also forced the rector of the SSPX's Australian seminary to recant his criticism of Summorum pontificum (reported in earlier Commentaries from the Mailbox) and to do a Te Deum to the Great "Motu" Mess Hoax. A letter written by an SSPX member is currently circulating here in France, charging that Fellay has fallen in the "Motu" trap: "Benedict XVI did not restore the Mass of St. Pius V; he has instituted a new one, a theological-legal mix between the mass of Paul VI and the Mass of St. Pius V, between the error and the truth, between the good and the bad.... Traditional friends, Benedict XVI wants to liquidate you."
Benedict-Ratzinger should be laughing now at Fellay and his naïveté with Newrome.
Often we forget the second half of the equation: that Newchurch continues to be embroiled in the Great Sex & Embezzlement Scandal. New-Order presbyters and bishops are stealing money from Newchurch at an ever increasing rate. The latest report involves a presbyter from Chicago.
Presbyter Mark Sorvillo, 54, pleaded guilty on July 20, 2007, to felony theft of nearly $200,000 from St. Margaret Mary Newparish since 1997. Sorvillo was forced to resign not by Chicago Newchurch Cardinal Francis George, but by parishioners themselves, who caught him stealing from the collection bags. He had been under suspicion since threatening to close the parochial school because of the parish's supposedly "strained finances."
Sorvillo has been sentenced to four years in jail. Like so many poorly-educated presbyters, Sorvillo wasn't too bright. Among the parishioners he stole from was Cook County State's Attorney Dick Devine! [Source: Chicago Sun-Times]
The Achilles heel in the Great "Motu" Mess Hoax is Benedict-Ratzinger's blatant lie that the Catholic and Apostolic Traditional Latin Mass of St. Peter and the fabricated 1969 Novus Ordo Protestant-Masonic-Pagan service of the Freemason Hannibal Bugnini and his Committee of Six Protestant Ministers are "a single rite." And Benedict-Ratzinger knows that he has published a lie in Summorum pontificum because he himself called it so in 1992, when he wrote, in his Preface for the French edition of Msgr. Klaus Gamber's La Réform du Rite Romain [The Reform of the Roman Rite], that the Novus Ordo service did not come from Catholic and Apostolic Tradition, but was "a fabrication, a banal on-the-spot product."
This very week someone in the Midwest of the United States described a parish Novus Ordo service in which one presbyter wore an orange wig with a red clown nose and performed magic tricks during the "homily." Another Novus Ordo service was described in which people brought their pets to church for a K-9 Mess, where dogs surrounded the altar. These are not "extraordinary forms," as Benedict-Ratzinger would term it, but the "ordinary form," seen all over the world.
No one calling himself Catholic can have any truck with the poisoned product, the "Motu" Mess, of such a bald-faced lie on the part of Benedict-Ratzinger.
Rumor has it that Newvatican is working on a new edition of the Missal for the Ordinary Form of the New Rite. One can easily imagine Benedict-Ratzinger issuing the "Motu" and Novus Ordo missals together to emphasise the lie, as he did in Summorum pontificum, that they are really just two different versions of the same thing. Changes that may be included in a new "Motu" Missal are:
But the most significant change of all could be the concoction of a new ICEL translation for the so-called "Extraordinary Form." Such a translation would start as only a version to be read in a handmissal, but later it would be claimed that the "Extraordinary Form" can and should be simulated in the vernacular.
I have been going to a Byzantine Catholic Uniate church for a few years now. Even though there were some Modernist elements in it, I felt that it was still valid. The TRADITIO Network's earlier report that some of the Uniate Byzantine branches have recently changed their liturgy is correct. Specifically, the words of the oblation have been changed to refer to the congregation rather than to God the Father and God the Son. Another phrase refers to the presence of God in general as, for example, the sustaining force of the universe, rather than Christ being physically present in the consecrated species at hand, nor does there seem to be any longer a propitiatory offering on behalf of the people. Therefore, I have concluded that this liturgy too has been corrupted and invalidated.
The Fathers Reply.
The question frequently comes up whether the Eastern Rites offer an alternative for traditional Roman Catholics. The answer is no.
First, of all, Catholics are generally prohibited from switching rites. This is particularly true in the case of (traditional) Roman-Rite Catholics, who are already members of the Church's precedential rite. Therefore, in those rare cases where rite switching is permitted, the transition is almost always from the Eastern to the Roman, the rite of St. Peter.
Second, the Eastern Rites have in many cases abandoned their Apostolic form. At one time the Easterners had Apostolic rites, but many have now fallen away from these because of the constant wars and conquests of invasion in the East (from which the Western Church has thankfully been spared).
Third, since Vatican II many of the Eastern churches substitute a more vernacularized, Novus-Ordoized worship service. This is particularly true in the United States. Roman-Rite Catholics are easily duped by these "modernized" Eastern rites because they are ignorant of the Eastern Rite and their liturgical languages (Biblical Greek, Syriac, etc.).
Yes, there is the rare Eastern-rite church with an Eastern-rite liturgy that has not been corrupted by history or Vatican II, but such a church is more by far like the proverbial needle in the haystack than the Traditional Latin Mass is! For further information, click on FAQ10: How Do You Explain These Traditional Catholic Beliefs in the TRADITIO Network's Library of Files (FAQs & Traditional Apologetics), in the article "Eastern Rites 'Option.'"
You enter the Novus Ordo worship building, which looks much like a Masonic lodge hall, for the Saturday afternoon "Motu" Mess. People are talking, laughing, chewing gum. Most are casually dressed. The tabernacle is nowhere in sight, so instead of genuflecting, people bow toward the altar "table." The crucifix is absent; it won't be brought in until the entrance procession.
The cantoress approaches the microphone, bare-headed and wearing a coulotte. "Good afternoon," she beams. "Welcome to the Mass of 'Blessed' John XXIII for the Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost. Please stand to greet our celebrant, Father Billy Bob, as we sing our opening song, On Eagles' Wings." A small band of piano, guitar, and drums accompanies the opening song. The procession enters from the back of the temple: a female crucifer, two altar girls, a lectoress in street clothes carrying the Novus Ordo lectionary, and finally Fr. Billy Bob in a Novus Ordo alb-cum-chasuble, all smiling and singing along loudly.
The Asperges ceremony before Mass is omitted, as the thought of washing away sins is deprecated. The song continues, and the congregation remains standing as Fr. Billy Bob and the altar girls recite the prayers at the foot of the altar quietly in Latin, while the band launches into the Kyrie and Gloria from the newly-composed Mass of the New Creation, written in the dissonant twelve-tone scale. Fr. Billy Bob then sits down for the "Liturgy of the Word," imported from the Novus Ordo Lectionary and read entirely in a the vernacular from the lectern. The band performs its rendition of Taste and See following the "First Reading." After the "Second Reading," the cantoress renders the Oecumenical Alleluia.
After the Gospel is read in the vernacular by a married lay deacon, Fr. Billy Bob gives a brief "homily" on social justice and global warming. "It is a mortal sin not to use florescent bulbs," he warns the congregation. After the "We Believe," is recited by the congregation, two Lesbians bring forward the "bread," looking for all the world like shortbread cookies and the grape juice for the "consecration." Meanwhile the lectoress leads the congregation in the Bidding Prayers, praying for all politically-correct groups and causes. Meanwhile Fr. Billy Bob recites silently the Offertory prayers in Latin facing the congregation across the altar "table."
The congregation kneels for the first time when the bell is rung at First Eucharistic Prayer, said in Latin in silence by Fr. Billy Bob, during which the pianist plays a theatrical rendition of Saint Saens' The Swan from the Carnival of the Animals. The congregations stands immediately after the elevation of the chalice and launches into one of the familiar acclamation songs imported from the Novus Ordo service. Shortly after, the congregation remains standing for the Lord's Prayer, recited in the vernacular, in the Novus Ordo (Protestant) form, with hands joined across the pews.
When communion-time arrives, all of the congregation, confessed or not, fasting or not, including known public sinners, approach, many taking communion in the hand from the extraordinary ministresses. Some also receive the grape juice from a glass goblet. A few folks kneel, but they interrupt the flow of the line and thus receive a hostile glare from the eucharistic ministresses. When they return to their seats, most of the congregation sits without making any thanksgiving.
As soon as Fr. Billy Bob begins the Last Gospel in Latin, the band plays over it with a rousing rendition of When the Saints Come Marching In. As soon as Fr. Billy Bob leaves the altar, most of the congregation walks out right behind him. Grateful for Benedict-Ratzinger's Summorum pontificum, the congregation is able to get out a good ten minutes earlier with the "Motu" Mess than with the Novus Ordo service because of Fr. Billy Bob's rapid-fire, silent Latin prayers. The "Motu" Mess is a great success; there is now time for a few extra holes of golf!
Some months ago, in utter disgust and frustration, I left the "most conservative Catholic church" in town for the Traditional Latin Mass. What a blessed relief! I've been closely following the Great "Motu" Mess Hoax. Soon, I believe, the Newchurch of the New Order will once again persecute the Traditional Latin Mass in favor of the bastardized "Motu" Mess.
When I mention to Newchurchers the criminality of Newchurch Cardinal Roger Mahony, under whose control several thousand children were raped and $1,000,000,000 in damages must be paid to victims, you would think that I was describing a fender-bender! Their understanding is darkened, just as St. Paul says in Scripture would happen. Everything is upside down in Novus Ordo la-la land. Evil is good; good is evil.
The Fathers Reply.
You have to remember that at this point, forty years after Vatican II and the fabrication of the New Order, the Newchurchers left in the Novus Ordo temples are the dregs of Modernism. Any true Catholic long ago left the New Order with its false temples and false Messes. The only ones left are those who don't know right from wrong, or at least won't act morally. Instead, they aid and abet the worse kinds of sins committed by Newchurch prelates.
Moreover, Benedict-Ratzinger has turned his back on Catholic morality. Our Lord tells him exactly what to do with the case of Roger "Rogue" Mahony and the many like bishops. We all heard it read out on the Eighth Sunday after Pentecost: non poteris villicare [thou canst be steward no longer]. What a title for a papal encyclical! Under Mahony's authority children have been raped and savaged. Any true pope would can him.
But Benedict-Ratzinger instead chooses to cover up these foul crimes and shield his criminal bishops from what their deeds deserve. By his inaction, Benedict-Ratzinger and his predecessor "Saint" JPII have sinned far more grievously than Mahony and the others because they had the power to do something and instead sided with the criminals rather than the children.
In answer to the fears expressed by St. Louis Newchurchers that the Novus Ordo Service in the vulgar tongues will be taken away from them and the "Motu" Mess will be imposed upon them as a result of Summorum pontificum, the Newchurch archbishop of that archdiocese, Leo Burke, has assured the Newchurchers that "both fears are unfounded."
Burke has confirmed that nothing will change in the archdiocese, as there is already one site with an "Indult" Mass. There is also another Novus Ordo nuns' chapel that has an "Indult" Mass, which they mixed up with the "Liturgy of the Hours," Bugnini's abominable Novus Ordo replacement for the traditional Divine Office of the Roman Catholic Church. The phony "Liturgy of the Hours" features such nonsense as readings from Thomas Merton, the erstwhile Trappist monk, who became the "Oecumenical Heretic," dying of electrocution in a bathtub while attending a Buddhist conference in Bangkok in 1968.
Burke was given the eponym "Bully" because he tried to steal a self-supporting traditionally-minded church worth over $10,000,000, which had a perpetual charter from one of his predecessors. When Burke's attempted theft of the property was frustrated, he clicked his boots three times and waved his Novus Ordo wand to "excommunicate" those Catholics who stood by their rights. The church in question is now flourishing, outside of Burke's control, with a traditionally-minded priest who courageously stood against Burke and his Novus Ordo establishment. In his former diocese, Burke had made headlines when he "consecrated" a "transgendered" (that is, a man surgically mutilated into a "woman") into religious life as a Newchurch "nun."
I have read numerous times that some Jews are concerned and upset about the Good Friday prayer for their conversion. I am very curious how they even know of this prayer's existence, considering that most Newchurchers don't even know about it, any more than Newchurchers have any idea of what prayers the Jews use in their own synagogues.
If someone in Newvatican is telling the Jews about this prayer and inciting them to object over its use, that would certainly pave the way for the Newvatican to change this Good Friday prayer in the name of false oecumenism and then to make any other changes deemed "necessary" by the New Order along the way, as I am very sure some of the bishops have already done. Then, before you know it, those attending the "Motu" Mess will be back to the Novus Ordo again, one change at a time.
The Fathers Reply.
As an earlier TRADITIO Commentary from the Mailbox indicated, not only has Benedict-Ratzinger indicated in Summorum pontificum that changes will be made to the Vatican II "Mass of 1962" but also Newvatican's Secretary of State has just indicated that the traditional prayer for the Jews could be rescinded by Newchurch to avoid offense to "perfidis Iudaeis."
Joining his voice with other Newchurch bishops, Robert Morlino, Newchurch bishop of Madison, Wisconsin, has rejected any but the occasional "Motu" Mess in his diocese:
Our concrete circumstance and lack of catechetical resources to support such ["Motu" Mess] celebrations have led me to the prudent judgement, I believe, that such celebrations should not generally be permitted.
As the TRADITIO Network has previously commented, the Newchurch bishops already had full authority under the motu proprio Ecclesia Dei of 1988 to have as many "Indult" Masses as they liked. Those that wanted them had them then. Another motu proprio makes no difference to them. As a result, in twenty years, about half the Newchurch bishops in the United States, for example, allow one "Indult" Mass on a Sunday, or at least some Sundays. The number of dioceses in which more than one "Indult" Mass is performed is minuscule.
Apparently, Newchurchers need to be thoroughly brainwashed in the false catechesis of the Novus Ordo before they can be allowed to be influenced by even the bastardized "Motu" Mess. As a result of the lack of catechetical resources, Morlino will be able to provide the "Motu" Mess only on an occasional basis and only after a period of (endless) reflection and discernment with his Novus Ordo presbyters. Q.E.D.
Good Catholics, aren't you pretty sick and tired of Newchurch clergy committing crimes and then doing everything to get off scot free just because they are members of Newchurch? Now we have the case of a Virginia Newchurch presbyter who evidence shows stole from two Newparishes that he ran. He wants the criminal charges dropped because he claims "religious immunity"!
Newchurch presbyter Rodney Rodis faces thirteen charges of stealing as much as $1,000,000 while he was a pastor of two Newchurch parishes from 1995 until he retired in 2006. Don Short, the county prosecutor takes exception: "I don't think the fact that you're a priest [sic] immunizes you from criminal prosecution," he said.
Even the lawyer for the Richmond diocese under the Newchurch bishop responsible, Francis DiLorenzo, rejects the presbyter's phony argument. He likened the argument to someone trying to claim that child-molestation cases should be handled as an internal church matter. "That's crazy," he said. [Source: Associated Press]
The TRADITIO Network has been the only source to call it: Summorum pontificum is the Great "Motu" Mess Hoax right out of the starting gate. First of all, we have pointed out that Benedict-Ratzinger is making a pitiful, belated effort to control, under the auspices of the New Order, something that is already an established right and obligation, not a privilege ("indult"), of all Catholics: the Catholic and Apostolic Traditional Latin Mass.
Newchurch at this point has been rocked to its foundations by the continuing Great Sex & Embezzlement Scandal and has been gutted by continuing defections bringing down Novus Ordo service attendance in many countries to fewer than 10 per cent of Newchurchers. With Newchurch having to fork over billions of dollars in damage payments and having to close its churches by the hundreds, Benedict-Ratzinger had do something stop the profusion of red ink and the defections to Fundamentalism, Evangelism, Mormonism, and Seventh-Day Adventism. Thus, he came up with the Great "Motu" Mess Hoax, which is intended to deceive "conservative" Newchurchers back into the Novus Ordo temples with a phonied-up "Motu" Mess.
Even so, Newchurch is not serious about this "Motu" approach. We have provided our readers with information on how the Newchurch bishops, who are in control, after all, are writing it off and providing obstacles to it. Now, from the mouth of Benedict-Ratzinger's second-in-command, Newvatican Secretary of State Tarcisio Bertone, the Newchurchers are being told that the "Motu" Mess, which purports to be the Vatican II "Mass of 1962," will be moved in the direction of the Novus Ordo of 1969.
At a press conference on July 15, 2007, Bertone, who has secreted himself with Benedict-Ratzinger in the Italian Alps, was asked about the "reactions of the Jews [to Summorum pontificum], who feel offended because it still contains an invitation to their conversion." Bertone replied, in part: "The problem of the 'conversion' [of the Jews in the traditional Good Friday litanical prayers] can be solved with a decision imposed on everyone, for instance, using the formula of the liturgy for the Good Friday of Paul VI [the Novus Ordo of 1969]." [Source: Reuters]
First of all, Bertone is so ignorant of the Traditional Latin Mass that he seems to think that it has more than one Canon, as the Novus Ordo Protestant-Masonic-Pagan service does (the Freemason Presbyter Bugnini and his Committee of Six Protestant Ministers fabricated three new ones and gutted the one existing Sacred Roman Canon). As any Catholic would know, the true Mass has only one Canon (which, in the Greek, after all, means standard or rule!)
Secondly, Benedict-Ratzinger explicitly indicated in Summorum pontificum and in the Letter to His "Brother Bishops" that the Ecclesia Dei Commission was empowered under papal authority to modify the "Motu" Mass to include suspect new, presumably-conciliar "saints" and new Prefaces. Now he is going to have elements of the Novus Ordo of 1969 injected as well.
Good Catholics, Benedict-Ratzinger's Pinocchio nose just gets longer and longer as this Great "Motu" Mess Hoax rolls along. Don't you fall for it! The only way, as Pope St. Pius X put it, quoting St. Paul, instaurare omnia in Christo [to re-establish everything in Christ] is to reject entirely the phony "Catholicism" of the New Order, including its New Messes ("Motu" or otherwise), its New Theology, and its New Morality. Only then will you have a chance of getting back your traditional Roman Catholic Church instead of some Protestantized knock-off of the Anglican or Lutheran Church.
Taking a position against the Fellay SSPX administration's essential acceptance of the Novus Ordo Protestant-Masonic-Pagan service, the SSPX's Dominican monastery at Avrillé in its Summer 2007 number of Le Sel de la Terre has declared: "It is possible to consider many New Masses [of 1969] invalid." The SSPX Dominican Fathers support their statement by reference to the Sacramental theology of the Universal Doctor of the Church, St. Thomas Aquinas.
The statement of the SSPX Dominican Fathers also correctly denies the false contention of Article 1 of Summorum pontificum that the Traditional Latin Mass coming from St. Peter, the Apostles, and the early Fathers of the Church, and the Novus Ordo of 1969, fabricated by the Freemason Presbyter Hannibal Bugnini and his Committee of Six Protestant Ministers, are "a single rite." Benedict-Ratzinger even presumed to speak of "the value and the holiness" of the invalid Novus Ordo Protestant-Masonic-Pagan service.
Our European sources indicate that resistance is growing among the priests of the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) against Summorum pontificum, which equates the Traditional Latin Mass of St. Peter with the Freemason Presybter Bugnini's Novus Ordo service of 1969. Meanwhile, battered by the SSPX's French clergy, Fellay has rushed to the United States to attempt to shore up there obedience to his administration, which has lauded the corruption of the Traditional Latin Mass by Newrome.
All the disinformation associated with the Great "Motu" Mass Hoax is reminiscent of all the disinformation circulated when the Novus Ordo was rolled out in 1969. All this disinformation has since been completely rejected now even by Newchurch authorities as false propaganda, but many ignorant Newchurchers still think that the disinformation is true!
In unusually strong language, the Boston Globe, for the city that suffered under the corruption of Newcardinal Bernard Law, has called on Roger Mahony, Newcardinal of Los Angeles, "by any logic of decency ... [to] stop apologizing and take responsibility for his personal disgrace by resigning. He is unfit to be archbishop of anywhere." On July 16, 2007, Mahony failed in his years of efforts to keep secret any complicity of his in the Great Sex & Embezzlement Scandal, when the courts ordered him to open clergy personnel files and to pay $650,000,000 in damages.
"What is Mahony hiding?," queried the Globe, which pointed to his personal involvement with Newchurch clergy sex criminals. Mahony shared living quarters with Presbyter Carl Sutphin, a seminary cohort of Mahony's, in two cathedrals over seven years, including the "Taj Mahony," Los Angeleans' derisive name for Mahony's extragant pagan cathedral, until Sutphin's numerous sex crimes could no longer be denied. Mahony also supported Monsignor Richard Loomis, his Vicar of Clergy responsible for the investigation of Newchurch sex crimes, until Loomis himself was fingered.
Good Catholics, you should be embarrassed to have a pope like Benedict-Ratzinger, who has not lifted a voice or finger against his agents of immorality, like Mahony, but instead continues to aid and abet his Newchurch presbyters and prelates in their rape of Newchurch children. His pontificate is a scandal to all Catholics.
Once again the TRADITIO Network's reports have been confirmed as true. When all other sources were falsely reporting that Benedict-Ratzinger uses the Vatican II "Mass of 1962" at his private Messes in the Redemptoris Mater chapel in the Apostolic Palace, the TRADITIO Network correctly reported that he does no such thing, that he uses the Novus Ordo service, usually in Italian. Now the accuracy of the TRADITIO Network's report has been confirmed by the Newvatican's Communications Director himself.
Not only does Benedict-Ratzinger use the invalid Novus Ordo service, usually in a vulgar tongue, but he also uses the New Order gimmick of concelebrating with his two secretaries. Just as the TRADITIO Network accurately reported, the source of the false information about Benedict-Ratzinger's use of the Vatican II "Mass of 1962," one Fr. Federico Lombardi, who is the Novus Ordo presbyter heading the Vatican Television Service, Vatican Radio, and the Vatican Press Office, was ignorant of the difference between that Mass and the Novus Ordo service!
Good Catholics, once again the knowledge and experience of us Fathers here at TRADITIO, going back before Vatican II, have given you the accurate information, whereas the international press and the "conservative" talking-heads were so ignorant of Catholicism that they couldn't sift out the blatant errors from their reports.
As this story indicates, you can't even be sure that you are getting accurate reporting from Newvatican itself, when its Communications Director can make a blatant mistake like this and spread it all over the world so as to mislead Newchurchers. You can just imagine how much false information is being circulated about Summorum pontificum! Stick with the TRADITIO Network. We give you the accurate information, which we have been providing independently of organizational bias for over twelve years now.
The Zimbabwe government has announced criminal adultery charges against Newchurch archbishop Pius Ncube, of Bulawayo. On July 16, 2007, Zimbabwe's television network reported that Ncube was being accused of conducting a two-year affair with a married secretary, who worked in his office. The woman's husband named the archbishop in a lawsuit just filed. In Zimbabwe, both parties are subject to the criminal law, even though only one is actually married. Ncube was literally caught with his pants down in photographs showing him cuddling naked women while he was naked himself. Ncube has not denied the charges. [Source: CNA, CWN]
Many Newchurchers are beginning to wonder whether Newchurch respects the Sacrament of Matrimony. They are also beginning to doubt the validity of the numerous marriages now being entered into by "annulled" parties. Is this just another New Order sacramental sham? In 2006 in the United States alone, 57,000 "annulments" -- call them divorces -- were awarded. In 1930 that number was 9; in 1968, three years after Vatican II, it was still only 338. This is a Newchurch divorce mill of monumental proportions.
Sheila Rauch-Kennedy was so enraged against the New Order posing as the Catholic Church that she wrote a devastating diatribe against Newchurch entitled Shattered Faith, which documents Newchurch's attempt to destroy her marriage to Joseph Kennedy II, so that he could marry a floozie with the "blessing" of Newchurch. Sheila Kennedy contested the annulment, but she was deliberately kept out of the annulment process.
Eventually the Newchurch archdiocese of Boston under the same Newcardinal Bernard Law that suborned his presbyters' sex crimes against children, rigged an annulment for Joseph Kennedy. Now, ten years later, Newrome has said that Newchurch committed an error and reversed itself, ruling that the spouses, both of whom have since "remarried" thinking that their original marriage was annulled, are still married. A typical Newchurch mess.
Rauch-Kennedy has called the Newchurch "annulment" process "ripe for abuse." She has pointed to the scandal that 90 per cent of annulments decided in U.S. Newchurch courts are granted. She ridicules canon 1095 of the New Order, which allows "divorces" to be granted on such silly grounds as that the wife can't balance her checkbook or that the parties are self-centered or moody. Critics refer to canon 1095 as the "loose canon." Rauch-Kennedy stated from her personal experience that if one of the spouses wants to defend the marriage, that party is silenced by Newchurch.
In traditional practice, there was a defensor vinculi, a defender of the bond (of marriage), appointed to ensure that the validity of the marriage was given the strongest weight. No more. After Vatican II, Newchurch does everything it can to break up marriages.
Your Commentary regarding Newchurch's disrespect of the Sacrament of Matrimony is well timed. I would like to bring to the attention of your readers a well-concealed secret: the New Order has expunged the traditional Sixth Precept of the Church, to observe the laws of the Church concerning marriage, from the official Latin version of the Catechismus Catholicae Ecclesiae [Catechism of the Catholic Church] [Articulus 2043, 1997].
The Fathers Reply.
No wonder Novus Ordo marriage is such a free for all and can often be invalid because the parties are not free to marry. Far from respecting marriage, Newchurch has degraded its status, established "Catholic divorce" mills to undermine it, and panders to "gay marriage." The Newchurch of the New Order is a fraud. No "Motu" Mess will correct its basic rejection of the Catholic Faith, its defective Sacraments, and its corrupt morality. True Catholics should shun it entirely.
Whatever he may have said in his recent letter on the "Motu" Mess, Benedict-Ratzinger himself at his private Messes performs the New Order service, usually in Italian, sometimes in Latin. There were some erroneous stories in the that he was using the Bugninized/Modernized Vatican II Mass of 1962, but it turned out upon further investigation that the reporters didn't know the difference between the Novus Ordo service in Latin and the Vatican II Mass! Invited guests who knew the difference have confirmed that he was using the Novus Ordo in Latin when they were there.
The same false stories were initially spread by the press about JPII as well. When a religiously-ignorant reporter wrote that JPII was using the Vatican II Mass, Newvatican corrected the reporter and said that the service in question was in fact the Novus Ordo service in Latin and that "Saint" JPII had never said the Vatican II Mass as pope.
I would like to remind your readers that the late Rama Coomaraswamy wrote that to attend the "Indult" Mass, now transmogrified into the "Motu" Mess, in addition to the problem that its simulators are not ordained as priests, but merely installed as presbyters to preside over the assembly of the people, would mean not being in communion with the Catholic popes, but with all the heretics and heresies of the Protestant New Order. That is the best reason I've heard for why traditional Catholics should never consider for a moment attending a "Motu" Mess.
As the TRADITIO Network has previously pointed out, the reputation of being the most corrupt diocese in the United States belongs to Los Angeles, headed by what many term the "arch-heretic" of Newchurch, Roger Mahony. For the last decade, he has waged a war to keep the corruption in his diocese secret. He had fired even the chairman of the U.S. Bishops Investigating Committee, when that chairman, a former FBI agent with a specialty in organized crime, told the truth and called the U.S. bishops "not the Catholic Church, but a mafia."
Mahony has now lost the war. On July 23, 2007, the court ordered him to pay more than half a billion dollars in damages, which, in addition to the $114,000,000 that he already paid, almost equals the total of damages paid by all other dioceses combined. Strike one. In addition, the court responded to Mahony's desire to keep his sex-crime records secret by ordering that they must be opened. The victims' lead attorney said that the documents could show whether archdiocesan leaders, including Mahony himself, were involved in covering up for sex crimes by Newchurch personnel. Strike two. Nor is the over $750,000,000 paid in damages the end. It encompasses only 500 of his guilty presbyters. Many more cases are in the offing, according to information that the TRADITIO Network has received. Strike three. Maybe "Rogue" Roger will have to sell off his pagan cathedral, derisively termed by many Los Angeleans the "Taj Mahony." [Source: AP]
Newchurch, headed by Benedict-Ratzinger, who refuses to take a public stand against the sex crimes by thousands of his presbyters and two dozen of his bishops in the United States, is leaking the putrid pus of corruption at an ever increasing rate. More than $1,000,000,000 has been paid in damages to date, and five Newchurch dioceses have declared bankruptcy. No wonder Benedict-Ratzinger is trying his desperate Great "Motu" Mass Hoax to get some money back into the Newchurch Sex-crimes Fund. And a goodly number of ignorant "conservative" Newchurchers are falling for the hoax.
More and more reports are coming in that, just as the TRADITIO Network predicted, the U.S. bishops will let the Great "Motu" Mess Hoax die a quiet death. Some bishops have announced restricting the number of current "Indult" Masses according to the terms of Summorum pontificum. The Chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic [sic] Bishops has already announced that any presbyter wishing to simulate the "Motu" Mess must pass examinations in both Latin and rubrics. Presbyters are universally ignorant of Latin, as it has not been taught in Newchurch seminaries for decades.
Newchurch Cardinal Adam Maida, of Detroit, has announced that Benedict-Ratzinger's letter should not be seen "as calling into question the abiding significance of the teachings of the Second Vatican Council."
Newchurch Bishop David Zubik, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, has announced that Newchurchers must "be careful not to arrive at early and false conclusions" about the letter. "Most importantly, I wish to state emphatically that the Mass [sic] is not changing," he said. "The normal way that we have been celebrating the Mass for the past 40 years remains." He added that he thought the letter was not intended for the United States, but for "countries other than our own."
Newcardinal Sean O'Malley, of Boston, the U.S. Bishops' official representative to Newvatican on this matter, told the cardinals meeting in Newrome on June 27, 2007, that the letter would have no effect in the United States, in that it was intended for other countries, because the U.S. bishops had done everything required already: "[It] will not result in a great deal of change for the Catholics [sic] in the US."
In light of Benedict-Ratzinger's latest ploy, a lot of folks are walking around with the impression that there will be a lot of "Motu" Messes said very quickly. I suspect not, even if one postulated that it was actually Benedict-Ratzinger's intention to expand the "Latin Mass." How long would it take to train a priest to celebrate properly the Traditional Latin Mass, presuming a relatively-intelligent man with little Latin knowledge?
The Fathers Reply.
It is not a question of training a priest to celebrate the Traditional Latin Mass. All priests are already trained to do so properly and are fully educated in the accompanying dogmatic, sacramental, and moral theology. The question that you are really asking pertains to Novus Ordo presbyters, who are not ordained in the traditional sense, but merely installed to preside over the Novus Ordo assembly of the people. In that case, the Novus Ordo presbyter would have to be entirely re-educated, if he is even qualified and wants to abandon the New Order sect. That process of discernment and education could then take anywhere from three to seven years. Otherwise, you just have a Novus Ordo presbyter like a monkey simulating an invalid "Motu" Mess.
Benedict-Ratzinger is a native German, but Germans respect the pagan Dalai Lama more, reports a survey by the leading German publication, Der Spiegel. 44 per cent look to the Dalai Lama as a role model; on 42 per cent regard Newpope that way. Newchurch is slipping again. The pagan leader is due to pay a ten-day visit to Germany starting July 19, 2007.
Labyrinths, enneagrams, Mother Earth worship, charismaticism, yoga -- hardly things you would associate with Catholicism, right? Yet they are associated with Newchurch, which officially permits them and spends Newchurchers' money on them. The Great "Motu" Mess Hoax will not change Newchurch's nature, which is getting crazier by the minute. Since Vatican II Newchurch became a tool of the New Age and the Novus Ordo Seclorum and will simply draw the "conservative" Newchurchers into its web.
A good example is La Providencia, an "earth spirituality" retreat center run by two Newchurch "nuns" outside of San Diego. In addition to shoveling out other forms of Newchurchism, La Providencia offers massage classes, women's herbal retreats, equinox celebrations, greening festivals, and Yom Kippur and Ramadan prayers. The Newchurch center seeks "the blessing of the individual by Mother Earth." This is just silly paganism that the classical Romans would have laughed at. The center has its own labyrinth and library, filled with "all kinds of wonderful environmental, ecological. and cosmic creation videos, books and tapes, among them an audiotape by Julia Butterfly Hill, who spent two years living in a tree. Have these Newchurch nuns checked for bats in their belfry?
Good Catholics, the prudent course is to stay entirely way from the Newchurch of the New Order with its hoaxes, pagan theology, and subornation, from the top on down, of mortal crimes. For further information, click on FAQ10: How Do You Explain These Traditional Catholic Beliefs in the TRADITIO Network's Library of Files (FAQs & Traditional Apologetics), in the article "Charismatic Movement."
In the week after the July 7, 2007, Summorum pontificum, the U.S. Newchurch bishops have already been formulating their provisos:
We Fathers commented on the first provision in an earlier Commentary from the Mailbox. Now we have the second proviso, promulgated by Donald Trautman, Newchurch bishop of Erie, Pennsylvania, and Chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic [sic] Bishops Committee on the Liturgy, that presbyters "seeking to celebrate the Latin Mass [sic] publicly" would be required to take examinations in Latin and the rubrics of the "Motu" Mess beforehand.
Lest anyone think that the USCCB's Liturgy Commission is somehow trying to thwart Benedict-Ratzinger's document, we point out that Trautman is simply following Newpope's own words. In his Letter to His "Brother Bishops," Benedict-Ratzinger says that the celebration of the "Motu" Mess will be rare because it "presupposes a certain degree of liturgical formation and some knowledge of the Latin language; neither of these is found very often." Moreover, In Article 4 of Summorum pontificum, Benedict-Ratzinger clearly states that no presbyter my use the "Motu" Mess unless "qualified to do so."
For his own Newchurch diocese of Erie, Pennsylvania, Trautman has stated that the two "Motu" Messes already in existence are sufficient for the diocese. Moreover, the U.S. Liturgy Czar pointed to exactly the same loophole in Article 5, Paragraph 1, against any more such Messes as the TRADITIO Network highlighted in its original comments on the document:
There will be need to ascertain that the common good of the parish prevails and to ascertain what constitutes a stable community of those requesting the 1962 missal. We must keep in proper perspective the pope's more generous use of the liturgical rites prior to 1962. The pope himself has said: "It is clearly seen that the new missal will certainly remain the ordinary form of the Roman rite."
What is the definition of coetus and continenter? How many is a coetus? Must this be an organized association? How long a period does continenter envisage? You can be sure that, from past history, the Newchurch bishops will define a coetus as a very significant number, more than can usually be found among the remaining members of Newchurch. Remember, traditional Catholics left the Newchurch of the New Order long ago, so they don't have a vote!
Of course, Novus Ordo presbyters can only simulate the "Motu" Mess because they aren't ordained as priests, but merely installed to preside over the assembly of the people, like Protestant ministers. Traditional priests have a high degree of competency in the Latin language of the Roman Catholic Church. In accordance most recently with Pope John XXIII's Apostolic Constitution Veterum Sapientia of 1962:
Not a single Newchurch seminary in the United States teaches Latin, let alone to this competency, so all Novus Ordo presbyters, even if they were priests, would not meet the requirements that traditional priests have already met. For further information, click on the Necessity of Latin for the Roman Catholic Church, including the Apostolic Constitution Veterum Sapientia [On Promoting the Study of Latin], Given by His Holiness Pope John XXIII in the TRADITIO Network's Library of Files (FAQs & Traditional Apologetics).
In the Wall Street Journal, an article on Summorum pontificum written by Raymond Arroyo of the EWTN Charismatic Cable Network states that this document "allows a pastor, on his own authority, to celebrate the Tridentine [sic] Mass." The article insinuates that any Novus Ordo presbyter can celebrate it without permission of his bishop: "This new legislation removes the middleman and puts the Latin Mass on a par with the widely celebrated vernacular Mass." Is this article completely false? It would not surprise me for the Charismatic EWTN to twist the document, but I can't believe that the Journal would let them get away with it.
The Fathers Reply.
The article indicates a half truth at best and -- you are correct -- fails the Journal's usually high standard of accuracy. This is just one example of how much misinformation -- perhaps disinformation in this case -- is being spread about this document by the talking-heads, who really know have plenty of opinions joined with plenty of ignorance.
While the Charismatic Cable representative may be correct insofar as private "Motu" Messes are concerned (of course, presbyters could simulate "private" Messes before; who would have known, if they were private?), but he is certainly dead wrong about the Newparish Sunday Mess. Moreover, Arroyo contradicts Newpope entirely when he states that "this new legislation ... puts the Latin Mass on a par with the widely celebrated vernacular Mass." Benedict-Ratzinger specifically denies that -- vehemently -- both in the document itself and in the Letter to His "Brother Bishops." He specifically reconfirms the primacy of the Protestant-Masonic-Pagan New Order Service of 1969 and also reconfirms the primacy of the New Order bishops over the liturgy in their dioceses. Moreover, he states that the "Motu" Mess will be an infrequent exception to the Novus Ordo Mess.
Moreover, Arroyo seems to be out of touch with reality. In Newchurch, it is the bishops who rule the dioceses. Newpope can suggest, but it is the bishops that make the decisions. This is what Benedict-Ratzinger confirmed to the Newchurch bishops in the Letter to His "Brother Bishops." As an example of what has been the general response of the bishops to the document, Joseph Kurtz, Newchurch archbishop of Louisville, wrote to his diocese:
In the new instructions, the bishop continues to have the responsibility to ensure good order within the celebration of the Sacred Mysteries of the Holy Eucharist in a diocese. Because it is an extraordinary use, any public Mass using the Missal of John XXIII (promulgated in 1962) requires the bishop's judgment that there is sufficient pastoral need to justify the use of this missal and pastoral ability to provide for that need. The frequency of these celebrations depends on the pastoral need and our ability to respond to that need.
Translation: The Newchurch bishops are still in charge of "Motu" Messes.
Good Catholics, the "Motu" Mess will be the hula-hoop of the next week or two. Then the talking-heads will move on to their exalted opinions about Benedict-Ratzinger's Gucci shoes or the latest charismatic apparition of the Virgin in a Hershey bar, or whatever. The TRADITIO Network has been around for over fifteen years, longer than any other traditional Catholic site, and its Fathers have observed the Church from before Vatican II. That is why our reports are so different from the run-of-the-mill slock that is available from the talking-heads. We give always you an independent analysis, knowledgeable and experienced.
Benedict-Ratzinger has shown his Modernist colors again in his appointment of a new Primate for Newchurch in the United States. To replace retiring Newcardinal William Keeler, 76, Benedict-Ratzinger appointed the head of the U.S. military archdiocese on July 12, 2007. With this appointment to the U.S.'s primatial see, Newchurch archbishop Edwin O'Brien, 68, becomes Newchurch Primate of the United States, the see formerly held by the illustrious James Cardinal Gibbons (1877-1921).
In appointing O'Brien, Benedict-Ratzinger selected not even a Newchurch "conservative," but a Modernist, embroiled in a scandal that hit the front pages of U.S. newspapers when he told Newchurch soldiers that he opposed allowing their chaplains from offering Catholic prayers because they would have an "adverse effect on unit cohesion," that the soldiers must be satisfied with "oecumenical" prayers, which deny the Roman Catholic Faith.
This was too much even for the United States Congress, which had the last laugh on O'Brien and passed a National Defense Authorization Act of 2007 that guaranteed the right of military chaplains to pray according to their conscience. In other words, O'Brien couldn't stifle Catholic belief and theology in the prayers that chaplains offer.
Good Catholics, if you think that Benedict-Ratzinger is a "conservative," you have been duped. He is just as flaming a Modernist as he was when he was "Fr. Ratzinger" at Vatican II. This man has appointed as bishops of his Newchurch a string of anti-Catholic bigots and philogays as long as your arm, as the TRADITIO Commentaries from the Mailbox have previously demonstrated. The record shows that he is a duplicitous New Order politician. If you fall for his Janus faces, you have only yourself to blame. His Modernist record, extending before Vatican II, is there for you to read in his own words and actions.
Are you getting the idea the Benedict-Ratzinger is making up his Newchurch teaching as he goes along? He is quickly earning the reputation of being "The Flip-Flop Pope." The latest proof is his Great "Motu" Mess Hoax, in which he contradicts statements on the history of the Mass that he made just 15 years ago.
In 1992 Ratzinger wrote a preface for the French edition, La Réform du Rite Romain, of Msgr. Klaus Gamber's 1979 Die Reform der Römischen Liturgie: Vorgeschichte und Problematik [The Reform of the Roman Liturgy: Its Problems and Background]. Gamber, highly praised as a liturgical scholar by Ratzinger at the time, wrote his book ten years after the introduction of Freemason Presbyter Bugnini's New Order service in 1969 and absolutely devastated all the Novus Ordo frauds: a turned around table as an altar, Mass turned toward the congregation, the phony "Hippolytan" canon, the Aramaic ruse on the words of consecration, and many others. Ratzinger wrote at that time:
What happened after the [Vatican II] Council was something else entirely: in the place of liturgy as the fruit of development came fabricated liturgy. We abandoned the organic, living process of growth and development over centuries, and replace it -- as in a manufacturing process -- with a fabrication, a banal on-the-spot product.
In 1992 Ratzinger was clearing saying that the Novus Ordo service had no historical connection or resemblance to the Traditional Latin Mass that preceded it. The Novus Ordo service, Ratzinger then said, was a "fabrication" (the same word in his French as in English), the very word that the TRADITIO Network has consistently used of the Novus Ordo Protestant-Masonic-Pagan service.
On July 7, 2007, in Summorum pontificum Benedict-Ratzinger did a volte-face, an about face, so brazen that it reminds us of the pagan Roman god Janus, who was depicted as having two faces turned opposite one another. Here is what he says in 2007:
It is not appropriate to speak of these two versions of the Roman Missal [1962 and 1969] as if they were "two Rites." Rather, it is a matter of a twofold use of one and the same rite.
Confronted with these two entirely contradictory statements about the history of the Mass, showing up Benedict-Ratzinger to be Janus-faced, we Fathers here are having trouble keeping a straight face! The Great "Motu" Mess Hoax is really quite laughable, especially since it has caught so many of the ignoscenti "talking-heads" so flat-footed, aptly to mix a metaphor.
The bishops of the United States have, in less than a week, made their interpretation of Article 5, Paragraphs 1 and 2, of Summorum pontificum clear: only one "Motu" Mess per Sunday per Newparish (or probably, in fact, per diocese, in which case extra ones could be canceled). Want to be that the United States bishops will be limiting, not expanding, the number of "Motu" Messes?
On the same day on which the motu proprio came out, July 7, 2007, the Diocese of Pittsburg issued this interpretation in a Memorandum to its presbyters. Newcardinal Sean O'Malley, Benedict-Ratzinger's hand-picked Newchurch prelate to represent the United States on the motu proprio, already gave this same interpretation for his own Boston archdiocese: one church (outside Boston), one "Motu" Mess. These precedents will undoubtedly be extended to other Newchurch dioceses.
Good Catholics, the TRADITIO Network has called it once again. As we said, the devil in Benedict-Ratzinger's motu proprio is in the details, and those "conservative" Newchurchers and Indultarians who sold out to Newrome, instead of standing by St. Peter and Pope St. Pius V, for their marching orders will likely lose even what they now have.
Not all of the Society of St. Pius X accepts the erroneous and naive propaganda being put out by Bernard Fellay, the Society's current leader by a narrow margin. The rector of the Society's Australian seminary has bluntly rejected the main premise of Benedict-Ratzinger's Great "Motu" Mess Hoax, that the Traditional Latin Mass of St. Peter and the Fathers of the Church and the 1969 Novus Ordo Protestant-Masonic-Pagan service fabricated by the Freemason Presbyter Hannibal Bugnini and his Committee of Six Protestant Ministers are merely two forms of "a single rite."
Let us not for a second accept the absurd notion that the Traditional Mass has become the traditional form of a single rite. The Tridentine [sic] Mass is the only Roman rite. It is the only standard, the only rule for the celebration of the Mass. It is not only ordinary; it is the only rule for the Latin rite, as it was always and will be always.
It is perfectly clear that the New rite and the traditional rite are not a single rite. If the New rite were the ordinary rite [as Benedict-Ratzinger claims in Article 1 of Summorum pontificum], there would ever again be no order, no rule, no authority. The Church would be destroyed. The New rite, a deliberate compromise with Protestant and Modernistic teaching, intentionally obscuring the essentially propitiatory character of the Sacrifice of the Mass, could never be regarded as a Catholic rule.
Yet it is this erroneous Modernist propaganda of Benedict-Ratzinger, straight out of Vatican II and the Modernist New Order of Newchurch, that Fellay calls "liturgical traditional restored in the Church"! This SSPX rector's rejection of Fellay's New-Order Te Deums to Benedict-Ratzinger for his "Motu" Mess hoax is not be the first, and it will certainly not be the last. After some deluded people get over the false hullabaloo signifying nothing, the outcries against a sellout to Newrome, which regards the Mass of St. Peter as in any way associated with the Freemason Presbyter Bugnini's Novus Ordo Mess, will gradually build in a deafening crescendo.
Summorum pontificum shows that Benedict-Ratzinger just wants a second chance to give his slow-growth Modernism program a chance to work, as Vatican II didn't fully achieve it on the fast track. The world loves Liberalists like Ratzinger and Gore because they portray themselves as having "good intentions." In fact, Benedict-Ratzinger is doing not what is right, but is polluting the world with the poison of Modernism. Since the errors of Vatican II and the New Order have been so successfully countered by traditional Catholics, Benedict-Ratzinger is trying to give the Protestant-Masonic-Pagan New Order movement a more respectable parentage and roots, this time in traditional practices, but not in the traditional Catholic Faith.
He wants to try again, with a different rationale now, to perpetrate the deception that the new Vatican II sect is seamless with the Catholic past. In his deception, he hopes to enlist the already half New-Order Fellayite faction of the SSPX to do the footwork for him and to guard the New Order palace walls. And Bernard Fellay certainly didn't fail Benedict-Ratzinger, greeting his Great "Motu" Mess Hoax with a servile chorus of Te Deums and propaganda about the true Mass that bested even Benedict-Ratzinger's smooth ruse!
The best farce is yet to come as these former Lefebrites, such as Fellay, will turn on Tradition itself in order to gain praise and power from Newpope. (Rumors persist that Benedict-Ratzinger has intimated to Fellay that if he sells out the SSPX to Newrome, he will get be gifted with scarlet togs.) Traditional Catholics reject not just the invalid Novus Ordo service, but many other large errors in which Newchurch has become unCatholic, or even anti-Catholic. The Traditional Latin Mass is just a nostalgia-jester or plaything apart from the fullness of the Catholic Faith. As SSPX Bishop Williamson once warned, although the vast majority of traditional Catholics do not trust Vatican II and its town-crier Benedict-Ratzinger, a greater number of the ignorant Newchurch "conservatives" may now give up their Catholic principles and back away from their once-held beliefs merely in order to "fit in" under the Rainbow Flag of the New Order.
Certain clergy and laity of the SSPX, the Fraternity of St. Peter, the Institute of Christ the King, and the "conservative" Newchurchers will be quite happy to remain members of Benedict-Ratzinger's Novus Ordo Seclorum, as long as they can have still have their "High Anglican" wing with the "smells and bells" of Protestant Indultarianism.
Fresh from the Great "Motu" Mess Hoax of July 7, 2007, Benedict-Ratzinger has provided traditional Catholics another belly-laugh by approving a July 10, 2007, document from the Doctrine of the Faith Congregation, the 1965 New Order substitute for the traditional Sacred Congregation of the Holy Office. The congregational document, entitled Responsa ad Quaestiones de Aliquibus Sententiis ad Doctrinam de Ecclesia Pertinentibus [Responses to Questions about Some Opinions on Doctrine Pertaining to the Church] states that Orthodox churches are defective and that other Christian denominations are not true churches. [Source: MSNBC News Services]
Funny. In 2001 Ratzinger was writing for the Pontifical Biblical Institute that Jews could look for a new Messias. They didn't have to believe that Jesus Christ was their Messias.
Funny. On August 19, 2005, Benedict-Ratzinger had no problem praying publicly for the coming of the Messias in the Jewish Synagogue at Cologne. The Scriptures and Christianity teach that the Messias has already come, in the Person of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Maybe Benedict-Ratzinger has a few things to learn from those Protestant groups that he doesn't want to call "churches." They might just be more Christian than he is!
Funny. In 2006 Benedict-Ratzinger had no problem praying publicly, Mohammedan style, in the Mohammedan Blue Mosque. If Mohammedanism is a false faith, what is the pope doing praying falsely in front of the world? You wouldn't catch the pre-conciliar popes doing any such thing. They condemned it as a Mortal Sin against the First Commandment: the worship of false gods.
Good Catholics, this Benedict-Ratzinger simply cannot be trusted to get anything right. Moreover, whatever he might happen to get right by coincidence, he belies by his contrary actions! He is aptly pilloried by Our Lord's words to the Church leaders of his time:
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you are like to whited sepulchres, which outwardly appear to men beautiful but within are full of dead men's bones and of all filthiness. (Matthew 23:27/DRV)
As I understand it, when Pope St. Pius V issued Quo Primum, the Traditional Latin Mass, the Mass of Apostolic Tradition from St. Peter, was canonized as the true Mass in perpetuity. For that that very reason, I do not believe that permission must be granted to attend the Traditional Catholic Mass, and it would seem to me that any traditional Catholic who accepts Benedict-Ratzinger's Great "Motu" Mess Hoax will be, at the same time, accepting the Novus Ordo service of 1970. Or am I wrong?
The Fathers Reply.
No, you are not wrong; you're absolutely right. We have many times pointed out that the Traditional Latin Mass is not some mere "indult," or privilege, but is a Roman Catholic's right and obligation. To place any import on Benedict-Ratzinger's Great "Motu" Mess Hoax is essentially to spit in the face of the Holy Apostles Peter & Paul, the Fathers of the Church, Pope St. Gregory the Great, the dogmatic Council of Trent, and Pope St. Pius V.
For further information, click on the Bull Quo Primum with Commentary and the Decree De Defectibus [On Defects Occurring in the Celebration of Masses], Given by His Holiness Pope St. Pius V in the TRADITIO Network's Library of Files (FAQs & Traditional Apologetics).
The salient fact of Benedict-Ratzinger's Great "Motu" Mess Hoax is he and Newchurch keep on rolling with the Novus Ordo Protestant-Masonic-Pagan service, while, in Newpope's own words, you will see the "Motu" Mess "not very often."
For example, here is the "Hindu" Mess being performed at St. Ann's Church in Toronto, Canada, on Sunday, July 2, 2006. The co-performers of this Mess are Presbyter Thomas d'Sa and the Newparish presbyter. During the Mess both presbyters sported a white dot between their eyebrows. The most common meaning of this dot is to proclaim oneself a pagan Hindu. The Mess was announced in the parish bulletin as the "Indian Order for the Eucharistic Celebration." It was also announced on the Newchurch Archdiocese of Toronto's web site, so archbishop Thomas Collins can hardly plead ignorance!
The Mess was conducted following the rituals of a Hindu worship service, in which pagan girls dance around the altar. The chant used is not the Catholic Gregorian chant, but instead the pagan Hindu om, which represents the Pagan Trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva -- you know, the one with the hundred arms. At the distribution of the cakes, the Hare Krishna chant was sung. You may remember that from being accosted with it at airports by saffron-robed hippies playing finger cymbals. [Source: TIA]

The Communist Chinese government has once against spit in the face of Catholics. It has opened the largest public restroom in the world in the city of Chongqing. In this restroom, "some urinals are uniquely shaped, including ones inside open crocodile mouths and several topped by the bust of a woman resembling the Virgin Mary." No doubt a bust of Mao Tse-tung put to similar use would result in the immediate execution of those involved. But this horrible insult is perpetrated after Benedict-Ratzinger issued a fawning papal letter to the Communist Chinese. The Red Chinese have responded with blasphemy. [Source: CNN]
One of the most interesting facts about the new "indult" document is that Newpope admits that Newchurch and its popes since Vatican II (1962-1965) committed an error. Those popes, says Benedict-Ratzinger, committed an injustice against you good traditional Catholics who for these last forty years have only been exercising your God-given right, and obligation, to worship at the Catholic and Apostolic Traditional Mass. In the Letter to His "Brother Bishops," Benedict-Ratzinger itemizes a trail of injustice and malfeasance perpetrated by the Office of the Pope after Vatican II. But he won't apologize to you.
Benedict-Ratzinger, having issued the document and admitted the crimes that he and his fellow post-Vatican II popes have committed, should, if he were sincere, have canceled his extended summer vacation in the Italian Alps and suffered the Roman summer heat while he prostrated himself for his injustice before the world on the floor of St. Peter's Basilica, over the Confession of St. Peter and the other popes before him.
This pope and his conciliar papal colleagues have apologized to the Mohammedans for the Holy Crusades. They have apologized to the arch-heretic Martin Luther. They have apologized to the haughty astronomer Galileo. They have apologized for Christopher Columbus bringing the Catholic Faith to the New World. They have apologized for the Holy Inquisition, which brought to justice the Cathar anarchists, who approved of murder to overturn the state. He apologized to the Mohammedans in 2006 and went in person to worship with them, Mohammedan style, in the Blue Mosque of Constantinople.
But Benedict-Ratzinger will not apologize to traditional Catholics for persecuting them when they followed the Apostles, the Popes, the dogmatic Council of Trent, and Pope St. Pius V in doing what he now says they had the right to do all along! People like Bernard Fellay of the Society of St. Pius X should not be fawning at the feet of Benedict-Ratzinger for throwing courageous traditional Catholics a few "crumbs that fall from the table of their masters" (Matthew 15:27/DRV) in a new "indult." He should be demanding a public apology and restitution. After all, isn't that what traditional Catholic moral teaching says one must do? Repentance is not enough: you must make restitution.
What do you think of SSPX Superior General Bernard Fellay's reaction to Benedict-Ratzinger's new "indult"?
The Fathers Reply
Fellay's statement, issued the same day as the new "indult," is filled with errors and naivete. First of all, he states that Benedict-Ratzinger "has reinstated the Tridentine [sic] Mass in its rights." He has done no such thing! Benedict-Ratzinger has given even the "Motu" Mess, not to speak of the Traditional Latin Mass, no rights whatsoever. He has given only a limited privilege, as JPII did in Ecclesia Dei, choked by the noose of the New Order. His document made absolutely no reference to Pope St. Pius V's Quo Primum, which does lay down rights -- and obligations.
What is contained in Summorum pontificum is far from an "unconditional restoration of the Traditional Latin Mass." It is a pittance. It confirms the invalid Novus Ordo Protestant-Masonic-Pagan service as the "Mess" of Newchurch. It allows for Novus Ordo presbyters, not priests, to simulate the "Motu" Mess. Benedict-Ratzinger himself says in the Letter to His "Brother Bishops" that he expects the "Motu" Mess to be performed "not very often." What kind of a "restoration" is that?!
Fellay then dares to claim "fidelity to the spirit of our founder, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre." To the contrary, Fellay conceals the fact that Archbishop Lefebvre publicly rejected Cardinal Ratzinger as not even a Catholic, but a Modernist of the worst stripe. Archbishop Lefebvre knew Ratzinger personally for many years and knew well his true character. Fellay is a babe in the woods compared to his Founder and always seems to have a propensity for suckling at the bosom of the New Order. Archbishop Lefebvre would have disowned Fellay if he had known what kind of a sellout to the New Order he would become after his consecration in 1988.
Now it remains to be seen what the SSPX will do to keep their faithful from crossing the now-invisible fence back to the New Order. In the minds of some SSPX members, there is no difference now. Benedict-Ratzinger's goal from his days as Father Ratzinger at Vatican II is to unite all rites and all religions not into the one true Faith, but into one body -- a One-World Religion of the Novus Ordo Seclorum, the New Order.
He has already accomplished one of the main goals: to bring the "Latin Mass" down to the level of the Protestant-Masonic-Pagan Novus Ordo service. It is a trap for the SSPX faithful to follow the Pied Piper in sheep's clothing into the New Order temples. The "Latin Mass" is the Trojan Horse, and the SSPX's Fellay is either very naive or power hungry or both. Will he sell his soul for a red cap?
Benedict-Ratzinger has deceitfully made "conservative" Newchurchers feel as if they had a victory so as to soften them up to acceptance of and change to the New Order. You have to give the fox (Luke 13:32/DRV) his due. His document will probably go down in the history of Newchurch as the best ruse and trap yet conceived!
Why do you often use names instead of titles for prelates, e.g., John Smith instead of the Most Reverend Smith?
The Fathers Reply.
We have a purpose in that practice. Unfortunately the prelates who have destroyed the Catholic Faith or have failed to promote the true Faith often hide behind glorified titles to deceive people. Are we supposed to call a bishop who steals $500,000 from the Church to pay hush-money to his "gay" lover "Most Reverend"? We think not. Are we supposed to call "holy" someone who has suborned the rape of children by covering up presbyters' and bishops' criminal deeds with oaths of silence? We think not.
Christ Himself said that it would be better for such a person that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea (Matthew 18:6/DRV). Christ Himself spared no vile words in addressing the Pharisees of his day. Just read the Seven Woes that He hurled against the corrupt Pharisees, as recorded in St. Matthew's and St. Luke's Gospels. St. Catherine of Siena vilified her pope because he had abandoned Rome for Avignon, to become a pawn in the hands of the French kings. St. Gertrude called her pope "worse than a murderer" because he was killing souls.
Where people have gotten the idea that the Catholic Faith is some kind of wimpy religion where murderers are called "Reverend" and abetters of rape are called "Holy," we have no idea. It certainly isn't the practice of the Saints of the Roman Catholic Church. Far from it!
The Apostolic Letter giving a new "indult" for the Bugninized/Modernized Vatican II Mass of 1962, transformed into a Missa Mixta with the Novus Ordo service, was finally released on July 7, 2007, after Newrome had teased "conservative" Newchurchers for over two years with speculation. For the official text of the document and a working translation, click on "Indults" for the Modernized Vatican II Mass of 1962 & Related Documents in the TRADITIO Network's Library of Files (FAQs & Traditional Apologetics).
This Apostolic Letter Summorum pontificum was released on what is known as a "trash Saturday" so as to downplay press commentary (since press coverage over the weekend is limited). Organizations typically issue press releases late Friday or over the weekend when they want to minimize public comment. From the perspective of the "conservative" Newchurchers, the document contains more holes than Swiss cheese! Benedict-Ratzinger immediately took off from Rome on his extended summer vacation. So, there won't be much talk for several months from Newrome. Most of the curia takes off too to escape the heat of the Roman summer.
In the coming weeks, you will undoubtedly be hearing ignorant talking heads falling for Newrome's latest hoax instead of seeing the document for what it clearly is: "sound and fury signifying nothing." Strangely, the document does not even have immediate force, but has a vacatio legis, a postponement, until September 14, 2007 -- a locus poenitentiae, time of repentence, for Benedict-Ratzinger to change his mind?
First of all, this document is by no means a "restoration" of the Vatican II Mass of 1962. This "indult" refers to a bastardized form of the Traditional Latin Mass, which deviates significantly from the form canonized by the dogmatic Council of Trent and Pope St. Pius V and which is to be merely an "extraordinary" form. The Novus Ordo Protestant-Masonic-Pagan service remains as the Mass of Newchurch. For further information, click on the TRADITIO Network's Traditional Latin Mass, Divine Office & Sacraments department in the section "The Road into the Black Hole of the Liturgical 'New Order.'"
There is no reference whatsoever in the document to the dogmatic decrees of the Council of Trent and Pope St. Pius V's Solemn Papal Bull Quo Primum, which infallibly canonized the Traditional Latin Mass of Sacred Tradition in perpetuity. There is no reference to the absolute right and obligation that all Roman priests and laymen have to worship at that divinely established Mass of the Catholic and Apostolic See. This document is just another "indult," a privilege, not a right, no better than JPII's Ecclesia Dei of 1988. And What Newrome giveth, Newrome can take away.
As far as the Society of St. Pius X's position is concerned, this document falls far short of an "unconditional restoration of the Traditional Latin Mass." Instead, it confirms the whole apparatus of the Novus Ordo. The very first reference in the document is to the Novus Ordo Missal! So, SSPX members don't have to worry. They can safely ignore this Newchurch hoax.
The international "indult" societies, such as the Fraternity of St. Peter, are totally ignored. Everything becomes a contest at the local level now, whether with Newchurch presbyters, pastors, or bishops. The minimal international structure that JPII set up has been passed over in silence. In fact, the new document allows priest-presbyters of "indult" societies to use the Novus Ordo of 1970 whenever they choose to! Thus, the terms of the Ecclesia Dei Commission's outrageous Protocol 1411 of 1999 remain in full force and are even broadened.
"The devil is in the details," as they say. You will be hearing a lot in the coming days from the misguided lay Novus Ordo blogger talking-heads, all basing their false notions on vernacular "translations" and praising Benedict-Ratzinger as the next "Saint JPII." But, to use the Scriptural term, the sly fox (Luke 13:32/DRV) knows his Latin and has deceived them into his Modernism without their knowing it. Latin, the official language of the document, is quite subtle, and vulgar tongues such as English cannot capture those subtleties.
One inaccuracy to watch out for in these translations is that the Latin subjunctive mood, which is used frequently in the Articles of the document, has a broad significance: anything from a mild command, a wish, or even just a possibility. Other Latin periphrases used in the document include the genitive of characteristic and conditional ablatives absolute. There is not a single word in the Latin original of this document that clearly requires anything to be done. Ample "wiggle room" is left to the Newchurch bishops to deny all requests, "for the good of Newchurch."
A preliminary review of the terms of the document show that it contains so many loopholes that the Newchurch bishops will have no problem continuing their current policies and will remain in complete charge. Here for the benefit of our readers is a preliminary version of:
THE GREAT "MOTU" MESS HOAX OF SUMMORUM PONTIFICUM
In the Letter to His "Brother Bishops" accompanying the document, Benedict-Ratzinger reveals his Modernist purpose behind this document and makes it quite clear that nothing has really changed; Vatican II and the Newchurch bishops still rule the roost.
An "Explanatory Note on the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum" was issued by Newvatican's Press Office on July 7, 2007. It points out: "The 1962 Missal ... says nothing concerning the direction of the altar or of the celebrant (whether facing the people or not)." In other words, "conservative" Newchurchers should get used to the idea that any "Motu" Mess will be performed facing the people, not the altar. The Explanatory Note also underlines Benedict-Ratzinger's statement that the "Motu" Mess will be modified to include Vatican II "saints," new Prefaces, etc.
Good Catholics, this new "indult" is just another hoax on the part of Benedict-Ratzinger and the Newchurch of the New Order. The bastardized "Motu" Mess will still be simulated under the aegis of an unCatholic New Theology, an unCatholic New Morality, unCatholic New Sacraments, by a Novus Ordo presbyter, not a priest. It will be held in Novus Ordo temples on a dinner table, not an altar, and simulated by Novus Ordo presbyters, not priests. "Conservative" Newchurchers must worship in the kind of place that Our Lord Jesus Christ called the "den of thieves. Obviously, the purpose of the document is to sucker the ignorant "conservative" Newchurchers into Novus Ordo Temples to contributed to the support of the Newchurch Sex Crimes Fund for corrupt Newchurch officials. Any Catholic with a conscience will stay away from this hoax entirely.
Be aware that the term "Latin Mass" that you will hear in the press this week is deliberately ambiguous. The term does not necessarily refer to the Traditional Latin Mass, which comes to us from St. Peter through the Church Fathers and culminates essentially with Pope St. Gregory the Great about the year 600. Some minor additions were made after that time until, in 1570, the dogmatic Council of Trent and Pope St. Pius V canonized this form of the Mass from Catholic and Apostolic Tradition in perpetuity, forever. For further information, click on The Traditional Roman Catholic Latin Mass in the TRADITIO Network's Library of Files (FAQs & Traditional Apologetics).
There are "modernized" forms of this Mass, culminating in what is commonly referred to as the "Mass of 1962." This form contains a number of non-traditional changes, particularly to the most venerable and ancient rites of Holy Week. Then, to add to the confusion, there is a Latin version of the New Order service of 1970, which represents a complete rupture from the Catholic and Apostolic Mass. For further information, click on the TRADITIO Network's Traditional Latin Mass, Divine Office & Sacraments department in the section "The Road into the Black Hole of the Liturgical 'New Order.'"
The problem is with the bishops, as it always has been. Any upstanding bishop should have granted a universal "indult" within his own diocese decades ago. They have always had that power, but never wanted to do it, being agents of the New Order.
The Fathers Reply.
You have hit the nail on the head! That is why this new "indult" is all smoke and mirrors.
To the shock of Toledo, Ohio, citizens, the City Council has named a parkway after a corrupt Newchurch monsignor, who tried to cover up the murder of a nun by one of his presbyters on the anniversary of the nun's death.
On April 5, 1980, Sister Margaret Ann Pahl was murdered in a satanic ritual with thirty stab marks over her heart and wrapped in an altar cloth. A thorough investigation followed, and police zeroed in on a prime suspect: Toledo Newchurch presbyter Gerald Robinson. After interviewing him, they found the murder weapon in his apartment. During a second police interview, a high-ranking diocesan official Msgr. Jerome Schmit, ended the interrogation in mid-stream and took the murderer, Presbyter Robinson, from the investigation room. The murder investigation was closed inside of three weeks.
Two decades later, after Schmit was out of the way, police reopened the investigation in 2004 and re-interviewed Presbyter Robinson. Hundreds of photographs of corpses were found in Robinson's possession. Several women reported being raped and tortured when children by Robinson and revealed "a large group" of other local Newchurch presbyters conducting satanic rituals in Newchurch buildings, in which they saw infants murdered. Ultimately, Robinson was convicted of murdering Sister Pahl.
The trial-court testimony indicates that the Newchurch diocese's representative, Msgr. Schmit, operating under then bishop John Donovan, used his position and power to block the murder probe of one of his own. The current Newchurch bishop, Leonard Blair, allowed Presbyter Robinson to continue is "ministry" right up to his murder conviction. [Source: Toledo Free Press and other local reports]
But Toledo is hardly the only Newchurch location where such occurrences have been reported. Even Newrome itself has been fingered. The revelation of the diabolical in that Ohio diocese is just one manifestation of a far more pervasive evil that has taken root in Newchurch since the Second Vatican Council concluded in 1965. A recent book on satanic rituals in Newchurch contends that many of the Newchurch presbyters involved in the Great Sex & Embezzlement Scandal have been warlocks perpetrating ritualistic sex crimes. For example, Newchurch presbyter Sean Fortune of Ireland raped children in a haunted house and threatened detractors with magical hexes. Presbyter Frederick Ryan tattooed a boy with a devil figure and then raped him. Presbyter Bernard Lane sexually abused homeless boys in a ritual chamber called The Black Room. (William Kennedy, Lucifer's Lodge: Satanic Ritual Abuse in the Catholic [sic] Church)
Good Catholics, Newchurch is a victim of its own unCatholic New Morality. The same Newchurch that allows its pro-abortion politician members like Kerry, Kennedy, and Pelosi to get away with murder, the same Newhurch whose pope, Benedict-Ratzinger, has been, and continues to be, an active participant in the cover-up of sex crimes by his bishops and presbyters, is not "Catholic." It is truly the Church of the New Order -- whatever it fraudulently calls itself.
Do you believe that an unintended good will come out of a new "indult" because it will further divide the Newchurchers into increased conservative versus liberal camps? I can just see the arguments by the Newchurchers arguing over whether they can talk or need to be quiet in the same church, how to dress, etc. After all, you can't worship God and mammon in the same place as many have (and will) find out. Also, any new "indult" will force the SSPX clergy and laity finally to decide whether to join the Newchurch of the New Order or fully to reject it, as its found, Archbishop Lefebvre did.
The Fathers Reply.
Yes, those things may happen, and eventually Newchurch will self-destruct, with or without a phony "Indult" Mass. However, it will waste yet another twenty years while the "conservative" Newchurchers vainly try to "negotiate" with Newchurch diocesan bishops, only to get a bastardized "Motu" Mess, simulated by presbyters instead of priests, and incorporating elements of the Novus Ordo Protestant-Masonic-Pagan service, all within the context of the unCatholic New Theology, New Liturgy, and New Morality.
When the purported new "indult" is released, supposedly July 7, 2007, as Summorum pontificum, it will apparently be a great disappointment to the "conservative" Newchurchers, who thought that they could play ball with Newvatican. Instead, if current reports are true, they will be the victim of a cruel hoax perpetrated by Benedict-Ratzinger, who will stand by his life-long Modernist position and confirm the invalid Novus Ordo Protestant-Masonic-Pagan service as the "Ordinary Form" of the Newchurch of the New Order.
Reports also indicate that he will limit the number of "Indult" Masses at Newparishes and will modernize the Vatican II Mass of 1962 with the use of the vulgar tongues. In a cover letter, it is reported that he will once again publicly embrace Vatican II with its New Mess, New Sacraments, New Theology, and New Morality for Newchurch.
So, the vaunted new "indult" will make the true Mass (or at least the 1962 corrupted form of it) into a kind of handmaiden of the Novus Ordo service. The new "Indult" Mass will use not priests, but New Order presbyters; not consecrated Hosts, but Novus Ordo cookies; not churches, but Novus Ordo temples, with their turned-around dinner tables. No true Catholic could set foot in one of those Novus Ordo temples to partake of a cookie prepared by a presbyter, all served up in the cafeteria of Modernist New Sacraments, New Theology, and New Morality.
Advocates of racial justice must have been shocked on July 4, 2007, when Benedict-Ratzinger personally blessed the European Maccabi Games of Rome, to continue for the following eight days. These games are restricted to Jewish participants only: No Gentiles Allowed! One could only wonder what a Martin Luther King would say about such blatant "reverse" discrimination. [Source: Zenit]
As another indication of just how far the Newchurch of the New Order has turned its back on Catholicism, the Newchurch Archdiocese of Minneapolis-St. Paul announced that Presbyter Michael Tegeder, pastor of one of the archdiocese's largest parishes, has been given the Henry F. LeMay Pastoral Ministry Award by the Catholic [sic] Pastoral Committee on Sexuality and Dignity Twin Cities for his "deep commitment to pastoral and social justice ministry for all and [thus his] prophetic witness to the dignity and integrity of GLBT [Gay-Lesbian-Bisexual-Transgenered] persons and their families."
Henry LeMay, after whom the award is named, was a Newchurch presbyter who "outed" himself and linked up with other "gay" presbyters and laypersons in San Diego and Los Angeles in the late 1960s. His first assignment was at Immaculate Contraception Church in Faribault. From there he spread his immoral teaching that "gayness is a special gift from God and something to be proud of" to Novus Ordo temples in Barry, Glencoe, Marshall, and finally Granite Falls in the Minnesota area. He also carried his immoral teachings across the United States by co-founding Dignity/USA, the pro-"gay" organization that is supposedly condemned and banned by Newchurch, but in many dioceses it is welcomed by the Newchurch "establishment," such as Archbishop Harry Flynn in Minneapolis-St. Paul.
Good Catholics, you see that the perversion of the New Church of the New Order extends far beyond some kind of new "indult" for the bastardized Vatican II Mass of 1962. Newchurch is desperately corrupt and unCatholic, and one becomes contaminated even by entering one of its temples. Benedict-Ratzinger has no choice but to attempt a hoax to lure in the clueless few who take Newchurch seriously any longer: the "conservatives" and Indultarians.
The Chicago Sun-Times, in an investigative report released July 2, 2007, revealed that Newchurch archbishop Francis George actually promoted the leaders responsible for sex crimes in the Newchurch Archdiocese of Chicago, in spite of the fact that they allowed the notorious presbyter Daniel McCormack to slip through their fingers. George elevated Vicar General George Rassas to auxiliary bishop. He elevated Chancellor Jimmy Lago was named the primary point-person on child-abuse cases. He allowed leaders from the offices of Vicar for Priests and of Protection of Children and Youth to stay in key posts.
Presbyter McCormack was arrested by civil authorities and has pled guilty to raping five children. George's failure to report McCormack's crimes to police and his general cover-up have led to calls for the Newchurch cardinal's resignation. Although Newcardinal George fired elementary school Principal Barbara Westrick because she reported McCormack to civil authorities when George did nothing, he refused, even upon the recommendation of his own review board, to dismiss Presbyter McCormack, who continued to run St. Agatha's parish school and personally coach children's athletic teams there.
Yet George is poised to be elected President of the U.S. Conference of Catholic [sic] Bishops. If elected, George will be the second President to be selected while under a cloud of sex crimes. The current President, William Skylstad, of Spokane, has been personally accused of rape. The USCCB has been publicly called by its own Chief Investigator, a former FBI agent, "a Mafia, not the Catholic Church."
After Vatican II there was an attempt, by those trying to justify the unCatholic and invalid Novus Ordo service, to reject the perpetual, even infallible and irreformable, force of the Papal Bull Quo Primum, issued in solemn form "in perpetuity" by a Saint-pope, Pius V, who was carrying out the decrees of a Dogmatic Council and who imposed the censure of excommunication upon any, "of whatever ecclesiastical rank," who should dare to violate its provisions. Some of the refuted errors that the Newchurchers commonly tried to spread -- one even hears them occasionally today -- included:
Correct: Pope St. Pius V merely canonized explicitly for all time, when the Protestants challenged it, the Catholic and Apostolic Roman Rite that had already been handed down with the authority of Sacred Tradition, essentially from the beginning of the Church.
Correct: The Roman Rite remained unchanged in almost all respects since the pontificate of Pope St. Gregory the Great ca. 600. It remained unchanged in all essential respects from much earlier.
Correct: Scholarly research has shown that there was a striking uniformity in the elements of the Sacred Liturgy from the earliest times. Improvisation was minimal. Evidence of early written liturgies is substantial.
Correct: These mediaeval "uses" were not independent rites, but minor local deviations from the Roman Rite. Pope St. Pius V restored the uniform Roman Rite according to the practice of the Apostolic See.
Correct: Quo Primum is no mere ecclesiastical law that can be revoked, but has been infallibly declared to be irreformable because the rite of Mass canonized is the "received and approved rite," the rite of Catholic and Apostolic Tradition. Quo Primum, therefore, pertains to Divine Law insofar as they constitute a particular application of the Divine Law that has been expressed in its general formulation in Sacred Tradition, and specifically in the decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent in answer to the heresies of the Protestants. One could no more change the dogmatic aspects of the Catholic and Apostolic Mass any more than one could change the dogmatic aspects of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
To seek some kind of additional "approval" from the Newchurch of the New Order for something that has already been defined in Sacred Tradition and a dogmatic Council bears the odor of heresy.
Talk that a new "indult" for the Bugninized/Modernized Vatican II Mass of 1962 is near has provoked an advance counterattack among senior Newchurch clergy in Britain. Newcardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor, the Primate of Newchurch in England and Wales, has bluntly told Benedict-Ratzinger that no changes in the current situation are needed. The representative of the United States to the recent pre-rollout meeting on June 27, 2007, at Newrome, told Benedict-Ratzinger the same thing. Newvatican's Secretary of State responded that diocesan bishops would still have the "central role" in determining whether any "Indult" Masses would be held in their dioceses. After all, this is the reality of Newchurch after Vatican II because of the New Doctrine of Collegiality: Newchurch is run by diocesan bishops, not by the pope, who has become mostly a figurehead without any real authority.
On the day following the pre-rollout meeting at Newrome, an unusual meeting of bishops and cardinals was held to underline their resistance to any idea of a "new" indult. At the meeting the prelates told Newpope in so many words that he cannot count on their support: "When we have the document, bishops and cardinals will consider it." [Source: UK Independent]
The Newchurch "conservatives" had better be careful. They will likely end up the big losers from a new "indult" hoax. This rejection by the British prelates is expected to be just the first salvo in what is expected to be a backlash from Newchurch diocesan bishops around the world that will lead to the suppression of even those "Indult" Masses that now exist. As Scripture says: "From them shall be taken away that also which they have" (after Matthew 13:12/DRV).
As regards the purported new "indult," isn't there another issue besides the invalid New Ordinal of 1968 that Newchurch uses, which simply installs Protestantized presbyters to preside over "the assembly of the people"? The issue is that such presbyters aren't even trained to be Catholic priests. The teachings of the popes before John XXIII and of the Doctors of the Church have been stricken from Newchurch seminary curricula. Therefore, the Newchurch seminarians don't know about Pope Leo XIII's criteria against the validity of the Novus Ordo itself, nor are Newchurch seminarians taught the meaning of Transubstantiation, for example.
The Fathers Reply.
You can't "flip" a Novus Ordo presbyter into a traditional Catholic priest overnight, any more than you can "flip" a Methodist minister to be a Catholic priest overnight. The man must be retrained from scratch and ordained de novo. The difference between a Newchurch presbyter and a traditional priest is not the difference between a white tabby and a gray tabby; it is the difference between a dog and a cat -- an entirely different genus.
Before any such ordination could take place, the necessity would be to determine that the Novus Ordo presbyter has actually converted to the Catholic Faith. This process would involve several years. As you indicate, nothing that he got in one of those sex-ridden Novus Ordo seminaries has prepared him in the Catholic Faith. Rather, he has been indoctrinated in the Protestant New Order sect. He needs to reflect on whether he would be more suited to seek installation as a Protestant minister.
This issue of Novus Ordo presbyters simulating invalid "Indult" Masses is going to be the biggest Achilles' Heel in the new "indult" hoax. The Newchurch "conservatives" will end up getting (if they get anything at all) a Missa Mixta simulated by a Protestantized presbyter: just as invalid as the Novus Ordo service. So, for all the hoopla that you will undoubtedly hear in the next several weeks, any new "indult" will make no change at all in the current situation. Of course, Newvatican will never even mention this issue because it is trying to pull the new "indult" hoax on "conservative" Newchurchers.
Here is a report for your readers on how an "Indult" Mass was performed in India. Of the 33 Signs of the Cross that are required in the Traditional Latin Mass, the priest-presbyter managed only 4. Of the 12 genuflections that are required in the Traditional Latin Mass, he managed only 2. The New Order Lectionary was used for all readings, not the traditional Roman Missal. The Novus Ordo preamble was used before the Gospel, not the traditional Gradual. Worse than that, only a small number of hosts were consecrated at the Mass; the rest came from the Novus Ordo tabernacle. As a result, there was a irreverent scramble as members of the congregation tried to be the first up to get the Mass hosts.
The Fathers Reply.
We have received reports like yours from all over the world. The "Indult" Mass is not in fact the Vatican II Mass of 1962, but a Missa Mixta, in which all kinds of changes, even invalidating changes, are incorporated to make it more like a Novus Ordo service. The Newchurch bishops have a de facto policy of not segregating the "indult" hosts from the Novus Ordo cookies, so most Newchurchers attending an "Indult" Mass are no better off than if they had attended a Protestantized Novus Ordo service. "Lord, what fools these mortals be!" (Shakespeare, Midsummer Night's Dream, III.ii.115)
There is growing evidence that Pope Pius XII was not completely successful in routing Communists from the higher clergy. We now have the report of Newchurch itself that 10 per cent of its bishops in Poland after Vatican II were working as spies for the Communist Secret Service (SS). We now have the public record of Newpope insisting on the appointment of one of those exposed bishops as the Newchurch Primate of Poland. Fortunately, the people spit the appointment back in Newpope's face, and the appointee was forced -- by the people, not Benedict-Ratzinger, who refused to withdraw the appointment -- to resign after just one day.
Now Benedict-Ratzinger has created further scandal by declaring, in a May 27, 2007, letter, a Newchurch "hands off" policy on the atheistic Communism in China. He made no mention of the numerous clergy and religious that the Communists have murdered, nor of the atheistic government's plan to dynamite to the ground the traditional Marian shrine to Our Lady of Mount Carmel at Tianjiajing, China, as "a place of illegal religious activity. Good Catholics, the post-conciliar papacy has become such an effeminate paper-tiger that one has to wonder why 12,000,000 Roman martyrs courageously died to plant the Faith that the Newchurch of the New Order still, albeit falsely, claims to represent.

In 1999, Newvatican finally put the lie to the contention that any priest could be "exclusive" to the Bugninized/Modernized Vatican II Mass of 1962. On July 3, 1999, Newcardinal Dario Hoyos' Ecclesia Dei Commission issued its infamous Protocol 1411, which specified that all presbyters reporting to Newchurch are bound to perform the Novus Ordo service whenever requested by their diocesan bishops because Newchurchers have an absolute right to the "normative" liturgy of Newchurch, which is the New Order service.
Since Protocol 1411 "indult" priest-presbyters and "indult" organizations have been forced into a collaboration with the Novus Ordo service. More and more "Indult" Masses are including texts and rubrics from the post-Vatican II Novus Ordo service, "indult" priest-presbyters are now forced to offer the Novus Ordo service, and cookies from Novus Ordo services are mixed in the tabernacle with Hosts consecrated at the "Indult" Mass.
Protocol 1411, issued by the Newchurch Ecclesia Dei Commission, in essence gives an "indult" priest no choice when a Newchurch diocesan bishop orders him to perform the Novus Ordo service. This directive that all presbyters reporting to Newchurch must perform the Novus Ordo service remains in force, no matter what new "indult" might be issued by Newrome.
As previously mentioned on the TRADITIO Network, pre-rollout meeting on the new "indult" was staged in Newrome on June 27, 2007, for about 25 bishops representing various countries, called by Tarcisio Bertone, Newchurch's Secretary of State. Included also were Dario Hoyos, president of Newchurch's Ecclesia Dei Commission, and Francis Arinze, prefect of the Novus Ordo Worship. For further information on Hoyos' allegiance to the New Order, click on Cardinal Hoyos' "Mass" in the TRADITIO Network's Special Features department. For further information on Arinze's allegiance to the New Order, click on Cardinal Arinze's Changing Church in the TRADITIO Network's Special Features department.
Benedict-Ratzinger came in at the end of the meeting as the "closer" and was "very clear that the ordinary form of celebrating the Mass [sic] will be the New Rite, the Novus Ordo. He also made it clear that the purpose of the new "indult" is to lure traditional Catholics into the Newchurch of the New Order.
O'Malley spoke for the 300 bishops of the United States in telling the meeting that "the number of people who participate in the Latin Mass [sic] even with permission is very low." The Newchurch archbishop predicts that there will be little change for Catholics in the U.S. He went on to say that for the United States "this issue of the Latin Mass [sic] is not urgent for our country."
O'Malley opined that the United States was invited to the pre-rollout meeting only so that the U.S. could understand the situation in other countries. He referred to the situation in Brazil where the Campos diocese, which had remained in the hands of a traditional bishop after Vatican II, was converted into the Novus Ordo after that bishop died. The local areas in the United States where Newchurchers have asked for the "Indult" Mass have already been accommodated under the "indult" of 1988 in a time of very limited Novus Ordo clergy resources.
This is a deft hoax on the part of Benedict-Ratzinger. He remains publicly committed to the false sect of Vatican II and its Novus Ordo, and he stays on good terms with his Modernist friends, but dangles a fish-hook to Newchurch "conservatives" to snare them into his New Order with a few pretty words of Latin. And undoubtedly some of these "conservatives" will take the bait and be pulled up onto the Barque of the New Order, gasping out what remains of their Catholicism. True traditional Catholics will not be hooked by this hoax!
With all that is and is not happening and could happen, what should the response of traditional Catholics be to any new "indult"?
The Fathers Reply.
Any truck with a new "indult" is a sellout pure and simple. We cannot imagine that any Catholic Saint, many of whom died for the true Faith, would have countenanced such a sellout to a false New Order religion for a mixed-up Mass (Mess?) with a Novus Ordo presbyter "presiding." Newvatican and Newpope are publicly stating their purpose for this hoax: to break the back of traditional Catholicism and to lure traditional Catholics into the New Order.
Any new "indult" would be just as phony as Newchurch's so-called "indult" of 1988. Where did that go? After almost twenty years, with full papal approval, half of the Newchurch dioceses in the United States, for example, don't have even a single "Indult" Mass, and the other half that do usually have only one. Nor is the "Indult" Mass even the Bugninized/Modernized Vatican II Mass of 1962, but usually a Missa Mixta hybrid with the invalid Novus Ordo service.
Let's face it. "Peaceful coexistence" with a New Order is not an option for a Catholic. Pope St. Pius V himself said so. When the Catholics of England in the time of Henry VIII and Elizabeth I asked him whether they could attend the Anglican Service (which was valid at that time) to avoid the censures of the State, he said absolutely not. To do so would essentially be a denial of the true Faith.
Any new "indult" is a Newchurch hoax, pure and simple. True Catholics would never enter a Novus Ordo Temple to get a Missa Mixta and a mixed-up Novus Ordo cookie! They should have more sense -- and guts -- than that; otherwise, they may as well have sold out long ago and saved themselves forty years of trial.

One of the biggest problems with the idea of a new "indult" for the Bugninized/Modernized Vatican II Mass of 1962 in Newchurch is that priests will not be offering it. Instead, Novus Ordo presbyters, "installed" according to the New Ordinal of 1968, will be shunted in to simulate the "Indult" Mass by subterfuge. These presbyters have not been ordained "to offer Mass for the living and the dead," as traditional Catholic priests, but merely installed to "preside over the assembly of the people" at the Novus Ordo Protestantized service. Thus, the "conservative" Newchurchers might as well bring in a Methodist minister to simulate their "Indult" Mass.
Presbyters are, by definition, servants to the Protestant New Order, not the Roman Catholic Faith. As soon as they finish simulating a Vatican II Mass of 1962, they go back to performing the invalid Novus Ordo Mess, mixing the cookies in, preaching the New Order, and "initiating" babies into the Newchurch club, not baptizing them from Original Sin into the true Faith.
Undoubtedly "conservative" Newchurchers will hail this arrangement -- which just goes to show how far they have fallen from the Catholic Faith by this time, willing to accept a false New Order faith in order to gain credibility in the eyes of Newchurch. They are just like the apostates in the early Church who called themselves "Catholics," yet put the pinch of incense into the censor to worship Caesar as God.
On June 27, 2007, the roof blew off one long-time Newchurch cover-up. A special commission chaired by Newchurch Archbishop Slawoj Glodz, of Poland, publicly presented the results of its investigations, which found that one out of ten Newchurch bishops in Poland after Vatican II were spies for the Communist Secret Service (SS). Twelve of them are still living. Glodz passed over the delicate question of whether Karol Woytyla, later JPII, was one of these spies.
Benedict-Ratzinger's 2006 appointee to be Newchurch archbishop of Warsaw, Stanislaw Wielgus, was one of these Communist spies. Newpope knew of Wielgus's Communist background and appointed him anyway. However, the Polish people, and even the President of Poland, were so outraged that they openly criticized Benedict-Ratzinger for his appointment, and Wielgus resigned. Newpope reportedly was angered that his Communist appointee had been thrown back into his teeth. [Source: Associated Press]
In July 1944 a decree from the Holy Office of Pope Pius XII automatically excommunicated for apostasy any Catholic who had ties to atheistic Communism. So now Newchurch has to come to grips with the fact that many of its bishops in Poland were actually not bishops, having been automatically deposed from office for apostasy. You can be sure that you won't hear anything from Newrome about this; it will be part of yet another cover-up by Benedict-Ratzinger, along the lines of his cover-up of the Great Sex & Embezzlement Scandal.

According to 1988's Apostolic Letter Ecclesia Dei, the "Indult" Mass was supposed to be the Vatican II Mass of 1962, and a Commission was established to enforce the Letter. But within three years the same Commission that was supposed to safeguard the "Indult" Mass introduced changes to make it more like the Novus Ordo service.
On January 1, 1991, the President of the Commission, Newcardinal Paul Mayer, issued Guidelines for the "Indult" Mass, in which he provided that:
Yet even these corruptions of the "Indult" Mass were not enough for the Commission. In 2005 the Commission issued further modifications for conventual sung Masses, which incorporated further characteristics of the Novus Ordo service:
And these are just the "approved" innovations. The National Registry of Traditional Latin Masses informs the TRADITIO Network that it receives dozens of complaints about other Novus Ordo texts and practices being incorporated into the "Indult" Mass around the world. To appoint the New Order's Ecclesia Dei Commission to safeguard even the unadulterated Vatican II Mass of 1962 is like appointing physicians and lawyers to decide their own malpractice cases!
I am nervous about Communion on Sunday at my SSPX site. Our SSPX administration says that its priests don't have to be ordained with traditional Holy Orders, that the Novus Ordo is basically the same. Our current SSPX priest (presbyter?) was not ordained as a traditional priest, but was only installed as a Novus Ordo presbyter to "preside over the assembly of the people." He knows Latin and is a good man. What is the status of his Masses?
The Fathers Reply.
Perhaps you know some "good men" who are Episcopalians. More of them know Latin than Novus Ordo presbyters. Why doesn't the SSPX use them? It is not Catholic doctrine that mere "good men" offer valid Masses. It is the true Faith that matters, and one who has been only installed as a Novus Ordo presbyter to "preside over the assembly of the people" and then gets a one-day crash course in how to simulate the Vatican II Mass of 1962 in a Novus Ordo context remains a Protestant, just like the Anglicans whose ministers Pope Leo XIII declared invalid.
The Traditional Latin Mass is not some cloak to throw over an invalid Novus Ordo system. It must go deeper than that, or the SSPX is just playing a sick game with its members. For further information, click on the Apostolic Letter Apostolicae Curae [On the Nullity of Anglican Orders], Given by His Holiness Pope Leo XIII in the TRADITIO Network's Library of Files (FAQs & Traditional Apologetics).
It seems that the talking-heads are gearing up once more for the announcement of an imaginary new "indult" for the Bugninized/Modernized Vatican II Mass of 1962. The latest date being bandied about is July 7, 2007, and supposedly this time there was a pre-rollout meeting for some bishops in Newrome on June 27, 2007. Although the story has been carried by a number of sources, they are not independent sources: all the information being parroted from one German newspaper, which gives no details of the imaginary new indult's supposed contents.
If there is any truth to this story, it appears that Newvatican is engaging once again in its famed double-speak. For July 7 is the feastday of Cyril & Methodius, who were proponents of introducing the vulgar tongues into the Sacred Liturgy and were condemned for it by several popes. Pope Stephen II threatened Methodius with anathema if he used Slavonic for the Mass. In 879 Pope John VIII declared to Cyril & Methodius: "We have also noted that you are celebrating Mass in the barbarian tongue .... That is why we have already forbidden you to do so in our letters addressed to you through Paul, Bishop of Ancona. You must therefore celebrate in either Latin or Greek, as does the Church of God which is spread throughout the earth and in all the nations."
[N.B. There has been so much nonsense spread out about an imaginary new "indult," that in order to enlighten our readers about the errors inherent in this erroneous and even harmful notion, the TRADITIO Network is beginning today a series of short articles entitled What Evil Lurks Beneath a New "Indult"?, on the many evil aspects that such a hoax would foist on ignorant Catholics.]
There are two false notions about the "Indult" Mass that need to be corrected:
Error 1. The term "Latin Mass," so often seen recently, is a deliberate attempt to confuse Catholics. The term refers just as much to the invalid Novus Ordo (New Order) service of 1970 in Latin. This is the Protestant-Masonic-Pagan service that was fabricated by a Freemason cleric and his Committee of Six Protestant Ministers.
Error 2. The Bugninized/Modernized Vatican II Mass of 1962, with which the so-called indults of 1984 and 1988 concerned, is not the Traditional Latin Mass. It is merely a vestige of it, "modernized" by the same Freemason cleric in five major waves:
But the "Indult" Mass is almost always not even the Bugninized/Modernized Vatican II Mass of 1962. It is, rather, a Hybrid Mass (Missa Mixta) of the Vatican II Mass of 1962 and the invalid New Order Service, including one or more of the following New Order characteristics:
Obviously, true Catholics can have nothing to do with such an "Indult" parody of a Traditional Latin Mass. For further information, see the front-matter of the Official Traditional Catholic Directory.
U.S. Presidential candidate Rudolph Giuliani, a Newchurcher, has at least had enough honesty to abstain from the Novus Ordo cookie because of his pro-abortion stand. Or maybe it's because he's a bigamist, having now married a third wife. He got a declaration of nullity of his marriage to his first wife in 1983, on the grounds that he "discovered, after 14 years of marriage, that they were second cousins rather than third cousins."
Before the annulment, however, he began shacking up with a local television personality in Washington, D.C. Although he was married to his second wife in 1984 in a Newchurch ceremony, he had two subsequent public affairs, and in 2000 announced that he was leaving his second wife and two children -- without having even bothered to tell her. Until his civil divorce in 2002, he lived with two "gay" friends and then, in 2003, "married" his third wife, a two-time divorcée, this time without the benefit of a declaration of nullity. [Source: NewsMax]
Good Catholics, this is apparently what we can expect from these Newchurch politicians. Giuliani certainly knows better, because, after all, he received a Catholic education before Vatican II at a Brooklyn high school. His personal life is a scandal to Catholics, his two children won't speak to him because of the scandal, and he shares the identical position on abortion as liberalist U.S. Presidential candidates John Kerry and Hillary Clinton. Giuliani should forswear the invalid Novus Ordo cookie permanently and get himself to a traditional church or chapel, where he can begin to conform his personal life to Catholic morality before he tries to govern others' morality.
The type of meaningless pettifoggery that will characterize any new "indult" for the "Indult" Mass is prefigured by an announcement on June 26, 2007, that Benedict-Ratzinger had reinstated the "old" (that is, pre-JPII) procedure for the election of a pope. That is at best a half truth of the kind that has become so prevalent from the Newrome since Vatican II.
Perhaps the inaccurate reports in the press are due to the fact that the document was issued only in Latin, of which the modern press is ignorant, unlike the pre-Vatican II press correspondents. Benedict-Ratzinger's new provision in the Motu Proprio De Aliquibus mutationibus in Normis de Electione Romani Pontificis is as follows:
Si scrutinia de quibus in numeris septuagesimo secundo, tertio et quarto memoratae Constitutionis incassum reciderint, habeatur unus dies orationi, reflexioni et dialogo dicatus; in subsequentibus vero suffragationibus, servato ordine in numero septuagesimo quarto eiusdem Constitutionis statuto, vocem passivam habebunt tantummodo duo Cardinales qui in superiore scrutinio maiorem numerum suffragiorum obtinuerunt, nec recedatur a ratione ut etiam in his suffragationibus maioritas qualificata suffragiorum Cardinalium praesentium ad validitatem electionis requiratur. In his autem suffragationibus, duo Cardinales qui vocem passivam habent, voce activa carent.
If the ballots that are mentioned in the 72nd, 73rd, and 74th numbers of the above-mentioned Constitution [JPII's Universi Dominici gregis of 1996] should turn out inconclusively, one day should be devoted to prayer, reflection, and dialogue; but in subsequent voting, after the order in the 74th number established by the same Constitution has been observed, only the two Cardinals who obtained the greater number of votes in the previous balloting will have a passive [non-voting] voice, and there should be no abandoning of the principle that even in these ballots the qualifying majority [of two-thirds plus one] of the votes of the Cardinals present be required.
This is hardly a full-throated confirmation of the traditional requirement that a new pope be elected with at least a two-thirds majority plus one! In fact, JPII's controlling document provides that this requirement can be abandoned only after seventeen ballots, taking place over twelve days, and only if all the Cardinals present agree to the mitigated requirement.
What is perhaps more revealing about this Motu Proprio is that Benedict-Ratzinger has made no effort to restore the vote to those over age 80, which Paul VI took away, some say illegally, by the Motu Proprio Ingravescentem aetatem of November 21, 1970. As a consequence some canonists have argued the papal elections starting with that of John Paul I have been invalid. It seems that Benedict-Ratzinger's reputed "conservatism" is a substantially a hoax fabricated by the Newchurch "conservatives" themselves!
